I requested to have a haircut with my beard and it was probably the cleanest haircut I've ever gotten. Anthony the Barber is very nice and talkative giving the barber shop a very nice vibe. I think it's a great shop with great quality cuts. read more

I brought my son in to Fade Masters for the first time, and the cut was AWESOME. We actually in so Anthony could FIX a horrible lineup/fade done by another barber in the area. Literally, we drove straight from the other barber shop to Fade Masters in desperation, hoping my son's hair could be saved. (Quickly read some of his Yelp reviews and decided to give it a shot). I didn't think it could be done, but Anthony gladly took on the challenge and turned a pretty jacked up mess into a miracle! He is the real-deal type of barber: he will take as much time as he needs to get the cut perfectly right, and he knows what he's doing when it comes to fades, lineups, etc. It was the cleanest, closest shave I've ever seen. (I'll post pics of the before and after). Sure, it's not in the fanciest area of Sac. It's a humble little shop with one barber and one chair. I walked in and there was football playing on the tv and music through the boom box, just like your neighborhood hangout :) You can guarantee though, that you're getting an experienced, legit barber who is friendly and will remember your name when you come back. He indeed is the fade master! Only $10 for a kids cut? That's cheaper than Great Clips and other kiddy salons! I was so freaking relieved that he saved my son's hair that I gave him $20 without hesitation, AND he was truly humble and surprised as he accepted it. Great prices, great barber. We found our new regular spot! Thank you, Anthony!! I'm so glad we found you and even MORE sorry we didn't come here originally!! We'll be back in a few weeks! (Bring cash, and walk-in only. He had free sodas for customers and dum-dums for the kids) :) read more

Anthony is one of the best barbers in Sacramento...Before him I had visited dam near all of the other barbershops that were also highly rated.... No barber compares to Anthony, he cuts very professionally and fast. May even be among one of the best on the Planet. Anthony always easily understands the type of haircut that you want. He gets your haircut right the first time. He uses all of the latest machines and tools for cutting hair. His prices are very reasonable, many other barbers charge more and do not even compare to the skill Anthony has. Anthony's haircuts are worth every dollar. You will leave the barbershop looking Clean and Fresh AF. read more

Killer attention to detail. I fly from Seattle to Cali for a lot of a business and I usually try to book my hair cuts around LA. Heard about this Anthony and decided to call about an appointment on a Monday. No answer. I decide to walk in anyways. (Anthony doesn't work on Mondays). Pro tip. The parking situation is parking around back or at the market across the street. Also, it should be a rule you bring cash to a barber shop however they do take card via square. On this day they did not: bring cash. $25 I gave the man $40. I walk in, careful on the door(giant wind chimes attached), I am greeted by an older quite gentleman. Didn't tell me his name, didn't say a word just pointed at the chair. Honestly didn't expect him to be able to do a good fade. (He did a fantastic one.) He really made sure he got everything right. I dig that. Ps. Y'all should take care of that bug problem. Ants crawling everywhere. On the counter cause there's food. Gross. read more

If you're particular about your haircut I would not recommend this place... the owner is cool, but talks more than he fades. I left this place feeling like what did I do and waited weeks for my hair to grow back. Rarely do I ever get a cut and buy a hat the same day.. read more

Don't recommend - made 2 appointments for my sons 10am and 11am I got to the 10am appointment at 9:55am he already had a person in the chair which looks like he was just starting, I waited 10 minutes then left, what was the point of making an appointment if wasn't going to be seen at the time. I left and canceled my 11am appointment I realize it wasn't between the 2 hour frame to cancel but I had a schedule I needed to stick to so if you were late for the 10am appointment what makes you think I'd stay for the 11am, and then he charged me $15 for canceling the 11am appointment. Either way I will never book an appointment here again. read more

I went in to see Anthony today for an undercut. I've been wanting to get an undercut for over a year but wasn't willing to trust my long hair to just anyone. This needed to be a barber job with skills. Anthony is JUST the man for the job. This is a mens barber shop and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. He treated me wonderfully, great convo, and took his time to get my undercut just right. No need to look anywhere else. This guy is legit. Will be back! read more

Anthony is the man! He knows what his doing and takes his time, just what I like. There are a lot of shops you can go to in Sacramento but this is THE one you want to go to. So glad I finally found a barber I can rely on, and he has a stamp card! Yes a stamp card!!! After 6 cuts you get 1 free....how awesome is that! Call in and set an appointment with him which are preferred. He does have another barber, JJ who is more than happy to take walk-ins. read more

This place is it. i live in elk grove and through searching i noticed a lot of places have a person do their 1st review giving 5 stars. That was kinda obvious. Their first review? its like they were told to plug in a 5 star. It took me a few days of yelping and searching and i decided to try this place. I was amazed by the pictures. His work says it all. What topped it off was the owner, Anthony. One of the most down to earh individuals i met. He was very open and really loves talking to his customers. Hes very humble, not cocky like other barbers. He doesnt need to be because he lets his WORK do the talking. His phone was going off the HOOK while i was getting cut! Scheduling appointments! One of his apprectices was there and we were all jus talking and he really shed some light on how he conducts his successful business. **Anthony is a generous guy. Would help anyone out. Gave me some free refreshments after my cut. Gave some struggling barber some supplies at one time. HOWEVER. DONT waste his time. **You want your hair to look good? Well he will do so. He will respect you. But if you decide to come late, or get all butthurt and offended because he cant take you, then jus dont bother because you are already disrespecting him in that manner. Places that know when to put their foot down is place you know your time will be valued. I admire that. He respects ALL customers. Yes he cuts his homies too, but they TOO set appointments. Look no further and know this place is about quality. Quality cuts and Quality service. boom. read more

First time in the shop and I already knew Anthony got mad skill!! Hooked me up with the basic medium skin fade with hard part. A barber myself, you can't help but check for attention to detail. I noticed that barbers tend to round the corners on a medium fade by doing too much clipper over comb blending..but Anthony killed it! Gave me exactly what I wanted and got me out the shop in a decent time frame. I highly recommend this barber to guys that want to maintain a professional appearance on a daily basis!! All I can say is that I finally found a barbershop!! Thanks Anthony! For hookin me up with this fire fade!!!!! read more

Anthony is the best! I've gotten a good amount of haircuts by him and he never fails to give me exactly what I want. He makes great conversation and is really just the chillest guy ever. The last time I came I hit him up 30 minutes before I needed a haircut and he still fit me in, despite the fact that he was closing very soon. He's a genuine guy and his prices are very fair, and you can even book your appointment online to make the whole process seamless. You'd be doing yourself a disservice by not getting cut by Anthony! read more

Anthony provides great service with his work. He is easy to talk to and you will see his mastery of hair after he is done. His attention to detail and his experience is what keeps me coming back! read more

Short version: Horrible customer service, does not keep to customer's appointment time, reschedule to when HE wants it to be, customer retention service = zero. Long version: I walked in once and likes the older gentleman's (maybe his dad?) haircut, not Anthony. So we called and say I want to cut with the older gentleman. He told me there are no open slots available and hangs up. Perplexed, but because I REALLY like the older gentleman's work, I called back and ask if I can make an appointment. Anthony says, "I don't do appointment over the phone man, do it online." and hangs up. Well, if I need to make an appointment and it must be done online at his website, ok, it's understandable, I made one online. Found out it's only with Anthony. I made an appointment on 12/3 to have a haircut on 12/7 at 8 am. He rescheduled me on 12/4 to 12/8 at 8 am. One day delay is no big deal to me. Then, on 12/7 (one day before haircut) he rescheduled me to 12/16 at 12:30 pm! I went online and saw he had plenty of appointment times available on 12/9! I don't know why you don't want to do my business and keeps on rescheduling my appointment time, but the least you can do is call and ask if it's ok to do so AND THEN reschedule! It is not cool to just reschedule me without any explanation or offer alternatives. If your intention is to deter me and everyone I know from going to you anymore, congrats, you succeeded. There are plenty of other barbershops around, just as nice at a cheaper price range. This guy is unprofessional and from other reviews, he couldn't care less about it. This is just a horrible business practice. read more

Let me tell y'all about my great experience with Fade Masters. So my bday is next week and my girl wants to have a bday dinner this weekend. So I decided to find a good barber and get a good haircut for my bday dinner. I surfed around Yelp and sent messages to two or three different barbers. Anthony at Fade Masters responded to me the same day. One other barber relied the next day and it happened to be right after I got out of Fade Masters too. Lol. The third barber I still haven't heard from. But, I had another engagement yesterday evening that I did not want to miss out on. I started conversations with Anthony around 2 yesterday, trying to check his prices, and see if I could get in and out before my other engagement. I was thinking too hard and almost told him I'd come another time. But due to lack of responses from other barbers I was like if I come now will you be able to get me out in time and he said come on. First time there and he's a very cool and pleasant person. I liked that. Then my cut come out just as nice as I thought it would. Man, y'all should check out Fade Masters. Once I went I knew I would not be disappointed and I know you wouldn't be either. Check the cut: read more

This place is amazing. Anthony makes sure i leave looking as good as I could probably ever look. Stg I get more looks from girls after I leave this place compared to other places I tried before I landed here. But good haircuts aren't cheap and cheap haircuts aren't good. Anthony is a genuinely good dude too. Classic barbershop stuff. You could make a good podcast if you put a microphone In this place. Sometimes I gotta wait past my time but it's a barbershop...what do you expect. Go to a chain if you want in and out, do the job, routine place. So don't be complaining about price or wait. Because this place gives as good of a haircut you could get, like trust it for your wedding day type good. Five stars for being a barbershop that is supposed to give dope fades. read more

Anthony is amongst the best barbers in sac. Truly a expert in his craft, his designs are sharp and fades are crisp. I trust in Anthony's skills so much i prefer he freestyles every design he gives me. Having gone to Anthony for over a year now, I plan on continuing to go to him and would recommend to anyone else needing an exceptional haircut. read more

Well I would give this review zero stars since I didn't even get the chance to experience trying to get a haircut through them I know that they have a very complex procedure to be able to set up an appointment online and that's exactly what I did and abruptly on my way to the appointment 15 minutes before hand appointment got canceled I don't know what kind of business does all goes out of their way to make websites to book appointments and everything else and then it gives you no kind of advance notice and abruptly cancels it read more

My first time here, and I definitely will return! Anthony gave and EXCELLENT cut. He is super friendly and talks with you as if he's known you for years. Anthony really takes his time and when he is done it really shows. Thanks Anthony read more

Love getting my hair cut from this guy! Definitely recommend him! Booking is easy too it's through the site.

Gio does a mean drop fade! I was a walk in and was giving great quality service! Clean facility and sharp cuts coming from all chairs

I've been coming to Fad Masters for the last 3 years and I have never had a bad cut. Anthony is a skilled and technical barber with style and a big personality, and from what I see the people that complain are usually the ones with the problem. Make an appointment, arrive on time, you'll get a great cut. Side note: I dig the shop's style, Anthony has pictures of greats like Bruce Lee, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Marilyn Monroe, etc. He also has two big screens in the waiting area so there's plenty to keep yourself busy while waiting. read more

Had an emergency and needed a cut BAD for an upcoming wedding. Anthony took me in within 30 minutes for a cut and was nothing short of amazing as well as being a true professional at his craft. His attention to detail was second to none and was a very kind person with whom I enjoyed conversing with throughout the entire process. A first time cut with a new barber is always a scary thing, but the taper fade I received was truly a work of art! Highly recommend this place of business!! read more

I tried this place based on my friend's suggestion (it was a suggestion and not a recommendation and you will see why): Pros: Anthony is really good at what he does, I was impressed with how well he did my fade and beard trim. Cons: Anthony is also very unprofessional. I heard so much cursing every time I went there. The area where the shop is very sketchy and the parking is in the back. I was nervous about parking my car there so I always parked it at the 99c store across the street. Even with an appointment, I had to always wait at least 20 minutes. He's not cheap...hair and beard cost me $50. He also kept saying that he only gives appointment to old clients...if you are new...you can't sit in his chair. I am sure he does decent business given the quality of his work but if you are someone who wants a pleasant experience/casual conversation at a barber shop and get good service...don't go here! read more

PROS: They guy that works in there was awesome family owned and operated even tho you have to go online to book an appointment it was really super easy great haircut that he gave my son CONS: I got my son a fade with a design on it my son is only eight years old so he told me it would be cheaper for him I also bought a jar of Suavecito Which was 12-13 bucks so that added to my price but when I was all said and done I paid 38 for the haircut and 12 for the Suavecito I walked out of there paying over 50 bucks for a haircut with a cool design on the back of my sons head that was way more then I wanted to pay as well as more then I was lead to believe I was going to be charged. Also the location is not very good in a pretty bad neighborhood. My biggest complaint was the price I paid the rest was good read more

Tried a few barbers during my 3 month stay in Sacramento. This by far was the one I was most disappointed by. Throughout the entirety of the cut, all I heard was this dude talk about how he was the best barber in Sacramento. I gave him the benefit of the doubt as I sat in the chair, in hope that the 40 dollars for my very normal tapper would be well spent. This guy is definitely not a fade master, the lines were not well blended at. As it is usual for me I didn't complain, I paid up, wore a hat to my date and took to yelp to give my feedback. He was however one of the only barbering options in Sacramento on Sundays. All in all, experience wasn't the best, cut wasn't that great, place was messy. In my opinion not worth the 40. Not the best in Sac yet brother, maybe someday. read more

Rude and unprofessional. Wouldn't even set up an appointment. Was it my skin tone or you just lazy? I'm glad I didn't get a cut by you today! I could care less if you reply. That's what this forum is for. I Like the fact you have time to respond to negative reviews but not give quality haircuts. Good job You were unprofessional. You didn't ask if I'd like to make an appointment for a future date or what the process would be. You just said "Nope". That was the only reply in person I received. Good luck with your current clients. They may be all you have left. I hope you realize that I'm not losing any sleep over this 1 star review. read more

The best cut and customer service you can ask for!!! My man Anthony is a great barber.

This place has one of those environments. Even if it's your first time you feel like you been coming for years. Good quality haircuts for a great price. Specially if you schedule. Not the 5 star type of place I thought. $30 for adult hair cut & $20 for ages 1-12. Seemed a little outrageous. I figured ok you get what you pay for, higher prices means higher quality hair cut right? WRONG. asked for a bald fade to a 2...received a 1-2. On top of that around the ear has a obvious chunk missing...wouldn't have been a problem if it was bald, like I asked for. I wasnt impressed at all, and can say that was the first and last time we will be going there. And future "newbies" no parking in the front, you have to park across the street or find a way to the back. read more

I'm originally from LA and I'm only up here for the summer. So it was kind of difficult finding a new barber that I can trust.
