Long overdue, I went to FadeMasters Anthony about a week ago, as a returning customer I didn't expect to continuously amazed by his professionalism and flexibility. He was able to get me in on a Saturday morning and out before an important event. Although, the cut was quick, it was done to perfection--a shadow fade around the edges with a 2 on the top. This cut was masterfully done, the service and cuts have been second to none I wouldn't dare let anyone else touch my head at this point. I went from customer to friend in my time here at FadeMasters. If you think you can find better for the price--not including the loyalty program--Dream on. This dude is the real deal, if you're still feeling skeptic, call and make an appointment and see for yourself my 5 stars says you won't regret it. ***** read more

Been coming here ever since I moved to Sac and was always satisfied with every cut Ive got from Anthony.

Anthony is too good that I had to leave another review. He truly takes his time with his customers to make sure their hair is on point. Would go no where else for my son except for him. My husband also loves to get his haircut there too. Coming from the bay it is hard to find a good barber and he definitely found his. He is always up to date with the new styles and can hook it up fast and extremely well. Keep up the great work Anthony and keep the men in my life looking good. :) read more

Anthony did such a good job on my hair!! He made sure to ask me how I liked it as he was cutting it and was very tentative. I already have my next appointment set up and plan on becoming a regular here. Anthony takes his time with each client and is a perfectionist! He definitely puts his customers first and wants to make sure they leave happy with their cut and service. Make sure you make an appointment first because there's always a wait. read more

Great establishment with great service and a really friendly atmosphere. This was my first visit here and I'll def. be coming back. I left with a spot on combover complemented with a clean fade - finding barbershops that can do a spot on combover is always a challenge but this place killed it. Definitely coming back! read more

Anthony is awesome! Always takes his time to make sure you like what you get. The more you go to him the better the cut gets because he learns what you like. Good conversation and always gets you out within the allotted time. Just make sure you explain to him what you want, he'll always work with the information you give him. Just make sure you book an appointment on the website because you don't want to try to do a walk-in, he gets busy! read more

I give huge props to this man. He really did his thang and fixed someone else's work! He's amazing! He got raw talent! I wouldn't recommend anyone else! read more

Fade Masters! I've been meaning to write a review for this place for a while. I'm a student who lives in Davis, and I've been getting my haircut in Davis for years. When I moved back home, I needed to find a new barber. So I went on Yelp and found Anthony, and he was able to fit me in the same day. Super nice guy! I don't really know much about haircuts so I just showed him a picture and he was able to give me a cut exactly like the picture. The guy is also super friendly and makes sure you have a good experience. Seriously, these are some of the best haircuts I've ever gotten, the compliments the next day are always the best part. Ever since then, I've come back from Davis every 3 weeks because the barbers there don't even compare. I will never go to another barber, if you are looking for a place to get a haircut, I strongly recommend Anthony. Just look through the pictures on Yelp, his work pretty much speaks for itself! read more

We moved here from the bay area and we were looking for a barber shop for my son and husband. We are used to the little hole in the wall barber shops. We drove by Anthony's place and saw the barber pole in the window. We decided to stop and when we went in we saw pictures of hair styles he had done and I liked what I saw. We have been going there since about April and have never looked back. Not only do you get a great cut at a great price but Anthony makes you feel at home each and every time. He did an amazing design in my son's hair that was unique and very well done. We will never go anyplace else! read more

Always cuts my hair exactly how I want it. Book your appointment online! Or you will have to wait! read more

I highly recommend this spot. Anthony (the barber) paids attention to detail and is very good with kids. I took my son to his shop after I relocated to Sacramento and was very impressed with the result. Totally recommend you stop by if you're looking for a great barber. read more

This barbershop was the first place I checked out when I moved to the Sacramento area. The name itself is a bold statement from the owner, so my expectations were very high! Anthony exceeded my expectations not only on how he cuts hair but represented what a barber supposed to be like; someone with a good sense of humor and great conversationalist! Highly recommend this place! See you soon Anthony read more

Jimmy is a standup dude, great cut and good conversation. Definitely a place for people who about that life though, wouldn't recommend this shop to any hipster, you won't feel comfortable here. Prices are fair and Jimmy will work with you to cut your hair the way you want it/fits your head. read more

This is my new barber shop. Been here twice now and each time my haircut has been awesome. Anthony is a talented barber and his shop has a lot of character. I recommend this place to everyone! read more

Had three cuts here from "the Fade Master," i.e., Anthony. Asked for a high, skin-tight fade each time. While the second cut I received was good, the first and third were quite average. Also, he charged me $30 a cut, which was way overpriced for the quality of work he did. He's a pretty amusing guy and I LOVE how he has convenient hours, but the quality of the cut was not good enough to return, especially at that price. One more thing. At the end of my second cut, he started using the straight-edge razor to cut the hair off my neck (without shaving cream). Then, for some inexplicable reason, he ran the razor across the right side of my (essentially bald) head. The result was a 5-inch slit across the right side of my head. While it wasn't thick, it still took me about half a day to get the bleeding to stop. Then it scabbed. Although it has healed, there is still some scarring/discoloration in that area. Fortunately, it's hardly noticeable. But this happened over a month ago. I understand that accidents happen and I'm not the type to bear a grudge, but he simply must exercise more caution when using the straight-edge razor on people. This is especially the case where, as here, (1) they haven't asked for it, (2) he's not using shaving cream, and (3) it's unnecessary. read more

Needed a cut for Tommorow(Mon.) and this place seamed like the best one that was open on a Sunday. I walked in and even though Anthony was busy he managed to fit me in. I paid $35 plus tip, which is more than what I typically pay for haircuts but it was definitely worth it. It may very well be the best cut I have ever gotten. My girl definitely agrees with me. I am going to book my next appointment after I leave this review, which aside from being convenient is great because they offer a $10 discount for booking online. I am very happy to have found this spot!!! read more

So at first I was like $20 for a kids haircut but he did a very good job on my boys and when I say I'm picky af you better believe it. Plus he's open on Sundays! Good job bro. I'll be back to get cut and that's will be the real test. Lol read more

I have to say that I was very impressed with Fade Masters. Walk-ins are accepted, but I definitely recommend that you book an appointment online with Anthony. He saw me right away and did an excellent job cutting my hair. Also, his rates are very reasonable for the excellent service that he provides. I'll admit that I was nervous about trying a new barber, as I am new to the Sacramento Area. But as soon as I sat in his chair, I felt right at home like he had been cutting my hair for years. Anthony is the real deal and he is extremely talented. I will definitely be going to Fade Masters again. Go check them out! read more

Fade Masters - Comb over with hard part - Barbers Near Me - Sacramento , California

Really don't understand why they promote this guy Anthony the head barber on yelp And online!!?? So I've read a lot of reviews about him and his shop which to be fair are all good reviews, so ok let me book a appointment with this Anthony, as I've just moved to Sacramento from San Jose and I need a good barber! So you can only book online,, ok so I go online put all my details in (email and my card details) there is a comment box so I put in the comment box(I would like Anthony to be my barber) as there is no section to pick your barber(which defeats the whole purpose of booking online!!?) finish booking my appointment then submit it! I get a text reply to say my appointment is booked and it says your barber is a guy call Salim? "Wait What!!?" I wanted Anthony?? !! You know after reading all his posts and all the customer posts her put up promoting himself I was expecting to get him to cut my hair! So I text back using the text back service as it says don't call text only and said I wanted Anthony to cut my hair and to cut a long story short the reply was... The appointment system is for any barber that is available.. all the barbers here at fade masters are good. Me. Ok I understand but I would like Anthony to cut my hair,, is this possible for tomorrow? If not I will reschedule. .U can't get Anthony.. he no longer accept new clients. Wow ok so again why do this barbershop advertise him so much and put all the haircuts he does only to tell people that you can not get cut by him? Very disappointed I guess I'll just look for another barber! you should make it clear on your yelp account and the website that you can not get a cut by Anthony if you are a new customer as it's very disappointing to get your hopes up then to be told that you can not get a cut.. just something to think about .... read more

Not impressed. I generally pay half of what i paid and get better precision on the lines/design, and a waaaaay better line up. Some areas of hair are thicker because the fade is inconsistent. Was in a rush, so i settled. I also learned a hard lesson. read more

My fiancé got his hair cut this past Saturday at another barber shop where he showed the barber a picture of cut he wanted and asked him if it was possible for his hair type which is very wavy and curly. The barber assured him he could pull it off no problem. Well--there was a problem. This guy chopped his hair up so badly he looked like Kramer from Seinfeld! We got home and after some research on Yelp we found Fade Masters. With so many positive reviews we thought his hair couldn't get that much worse-we made an appointment to get him in Sunday morning. Anthony was so friendly and actually took the time to listen to what my fiancé wanted and gave him proper feedback on what would and wouldn't work with his hair type and how to style it to get the look he wanted. He took his time and paid so much attention to detail and didn't quit until it was perfect. My fiancé says he has never liked any haircut he has ever received, until now. I have never seen him walk away with a new haircut AND a smile on his face! He looks so good! Anthony did a wonderful job fixing the previous guys mess! He definitely has found his go to barber shop! read more

In for a wedding and needed a cut. Fade was one of a few that was actually open on a Sunday morning. Awesome conversation with Anthony, great fade, close shave with a quick head and shoulder massage. If I'm ever in town again, Fade Masters is the only place I'd go. Thanks bro. read more
