I've had a few bad experienceswith Fade Fast. I've been to them on multiple occasions and they're over priced and rude. They don't offer any kind of package deals on treatments like most places do, but I gave them a shot since they had decent reviews. I'm looking into other businesses that are flexible with price and more accommodating with their customers. I was sent a $100 invoice for trying to reschedule my appointment. I called first thing the morning of to reschedule and they refused to work with me. The women performing the treatments there is pretty cold and unwelcoming. She was working on removal of a tattoo and ended up hitting another tattoo that I did NOT want removed! Poor work and attention to detail. I was cool about it but then she was totally unapologetic about the incident as if it was my fault. The experience with fade fast as whole has been a bad one. There's other places out there with better customer service that will work with you. This place is not that. read more

I have been coming to Fade Fast for 7 yrs. now. I started out my journey for tattoo removal after getting a tattoo I didn't like. (Know your artist's work and that you get what you pay for.) I was referred to Fade Fast by a friend and at the time they were at a different location. I was super down about the whole situation and Allen assured me that if I stuck with it, I would be happy with my results. 7 yrs. later and I am just TWO sessions away from my tattoo being completely gone. Some of you may think this is a long time, but in the long run I have saved money by doing it this way. The longer you wait in between sessions, the more time your body has to heal, reducing the number of sessions you will receive. Either path you decide to take, this place knows what they are doing! I went today for my first session...I am pleased to say that it went way better than expected! I was apprehensive about the pain as I have been told it's excruciating. Not only was it more than tolerable, it was super quick (literally less than 10 seconds). Audrey was super professional and informative; she took her time explaining the process to me and thoroughly answered my questions. I was given an ice pack beforehand to numb the area in addition to another to take home afterwards. The prices are beyond reasonable. I have zero complaints there! The shop is eclectic, but very clean and has a cool aesthetic. I have been pleased with every single interaction with Fast Fade. Great experience all-around! Audrey, the laser tech, was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the procedure and very accommodating. Explained the # of treatments that's usually typically given tattoo size, location, colors, etc. The treatments are no longer than a minute and the sensation is similar to someone snapping a rubber band on you over and over. I called to schedule my consultation and they were able to get me in the very next day. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The actual laser sessions are very quick, generally in and out around 5 minutes. After only 2 sessions I am already experiencing very positive results. But I will say one of the best parts about FadeFast is the price. Part of my hesitation in starting the removal process was the anticipated cost, but they are very reasonable and a fraction of what I thought I would have to pay. I have been to see Allen twice. I've traveled from San Diego both times. Why would someone travel 2600 miles round trip for tattoo removal? The same reason someone would for a tattoo. You get what you deserve. When I was young and stupid I got tattooed for the sake of having tattoos. I didn't care about quality. Thus, I have (what's left of) the horror on my back to show for it. I deserved a crappy tattoo because I went into the first place and had the first idiot who would cut me a deal slap something on. I was ALMOST as stupid when I started to think about removing it. Luckily I learned from my past and did some research. Seems like a no-brainer to find someone who removes tattoos who knows something about tattoos, right? Allen asked me my expectations and goals and he then explained the limitations and risks of removal. He is very knowledgeable about tattoos. He has plenty of tattoos himself, haha... Can't have that many without learning a thing or 2 about them. ;) He has been working on removing my back piece and after 2 sessions it is pretty much where it needs to be for me to start covering it with a tattoo that I will love. The outstanding job he has done for me could easily get him 5 customers a week from my results alone, were he located closer. I show probably more people than want to see photos of my results. Had my first session today. I couldn't be more impressed. The facility was great. Normally I HATE going to Dallas but it was so easy to get to and find parking for. All of my questions were answered and the procedure was quick and (relatively) painless...high thresholds for pain are good when you are fading a half sleeve lol. I left and had a question a few hours later and called and someone answered the phone immediately...no message and call back days later. I just had my second treatment done here but this is the first time at their new location. Let me tell you-night and day difference from the old shop! Clean, professional atmosphere! First and foremost, parking is available for free in the lot across the street from them, but you have to park in the designated 2 hour parking spots. Cost: around $350 for 4 prepaid treatments Type of tattoo: 6" x 3" black ink "tramp stamp" about 15 yrs old....don't judge. Treatment experience: Admittedly, I avoided coming back here to finish my prepaid sessions due to the pain. My first time felt like I laid down on a hot skillet for fun even though the girl used an icepack for a few minute beforehand to numb the area. Ouch! I mustered up the courage to return two years later and it was a much less painful experience! My technician was Audrey (I think that is how she spells it). Her technique was a little modified, in which she put water over my tattoo and then applied the icepack. This caused the water to freeze on my skin before starting the laser treatment. This time, it felt like laser hair removal (for those who have never had that done, it feels like little rubberbands lightly snapping your skin). The process was about 15 seconds. You are sent home with a cold gel pack on your treatment area that you leave on for an hour or so. I had mild bruising around my tattoo that appeared the following day but no pain unless you hit it or let hot water run on it. They strongly advise you not to used hot water on the area for at least a week. Results: So far I have had a total of 3 treatments-2 at Fade Fast and 1 at a clinic in San Antonio mannnyyyy years ago. I am about 2 weeks out from my recent treatment, so I don't really see any difference yet; however, they tell you the real results aren't visible until 1-2 months later after your body has time to eliminate the ink. I will say that my tattoo is lighter and is definitely not dark black-more like a faded blackish-green tone. I will update after more treatments. 100% recommend this place to anyone! read more

So the story begins with a stupid first tattoo. 6 years later here I am at Fade Fast and I will say 100% I am impressed. They are very courteous and helpful. The gentleman who does the actual removal is very very nice. He works at your pace. My first session I began to feel faint and he got me a glucose tablet to raise my blood sugar and water and continued on slowly. (I have a big tattoo to remove). I'm at my second session and they recommended a topical anesthetic to help with the pain. You sit with it for an hour and a half or so and it cuts the pain by around 50-75%! So they put it on me and set me up with a TV room and Netflix while I wait it out. Overall great customer service, great facility, and with time my tattoo will be 100% gone! I just had my fourth session with them. The script chest piece which is in my profile picture is what is being removed. Audrey is who I've dealt with the most. She was thorough in her consultation. The service sells itself, so it's not a high pressure sales pitch situation. It is painful, but that's the price you pay. It may be helpful to bring a stress ball. They use an ice pack for numbing before the zaps; the harsh cold is painful to me, as well. That could be attributed to the delicate area of the tattoo, though. The black portion of my tattoo is coming out much faster than the blue, which is only a bit faded. The black is patchy, but Audrey explained that the darker spots are where more ink was deposited into the skin. I will most likely be going somewhere with a Picosure laser once the black is 95% gone, as Picosures can be more effective for blues and greens. read more

Had my third session today & despite DREADING the pain... I didn't mind going. I bought the numbing cream they sell & it made a tremendous difference along with Audrey's expertise with the ice. I did not have the cream for my first 2 and oh my word it's plain excruciating. Audrey is a doll, and so so helpful during something painful. The salon is professional & so clean. Well worth it. Did my tattoo about a year ago and its almost completely gone. Had a ring tattoo of a slutty ex's name on it. Took only one session and was about 65 bucks. The procedure took seconds. When we first started I thought it was going to be real painful because the first zap of the machine was a little painful but only zapped it two more times and done. Right after that it was almost completely gone right away and you could barely see the tattoo. Months later I cant even see it only one small line that's not even visible really.
