Our group had 8pm reservations on Oct 19th. You'd think on a Saturday night they'd have enough staff for the "scariest haunted house in New England." however, we went thorough 75% of the building without seeing any employees. It was awful. They also remove any negative reviews from Facebook and BLOCK you. Will never recommend or go back. read more

I love that it's in an old mill building. Very cool animatronics and rooms. I might be psychopath (I'm a Gemini so ‍) but I didn't find it very scary. There's a lot of women. It would be scarier if there were more men (not to be sexist). There's neighborhoods in Brockton scarier than this. read more

This is my second time coming, first time was amazing. It was easier to follow the arrows when it was paint sprayed on the floor. This time on the other hand. The arrows were confusing. We got lost, went the wrong way because instead of being on the floor they were wooden arrows on the wall. I could not see them my group were confused and I guess we took the wrong turn that a walk through that was supposed to be maybe 15 mins was 5 mins or less. They told us we were going the wrong way and so we turned around went the "right way" but as we walked a couple more steps we ended up just walking out the exit and when I turned around and asked them where we were supposed to go and where were the arrows they told us it was the stairs to go outside. But we weren't even inside the haunted house for 5 mins! This was a waste of 80$. I'm so upset. read more

Oknso getting the VIP tickets are well worth it- saved a lot of tile waiting in line and we got to go in on our own. Decorations were good.. but as the other reviewers stated they lacked actors . There were two "swamps" which is really just a green laser light it make it look like water.. no actors in the first one and only 1 in the second. You were really on your own to figure out how to get out. Actors would help direct you. I wasn't scared in the least. Was amusing. There were a few good spots that with some more actors could have made it better. A lot of scenes were automated with air controlled props. Very limited parking . read more

This was my first visit here. I had came on Halloween night. I was excited and heard a lot of good things about this place. I drove half an hour to get here and waited in like for about 15-20 minutes. I got in and was sent in with a group of 6. I felt as though there was not many workers. It was mainly just walking through the dark with no one to scare. Ill admit when there was someone there to jump at you they did scare you, other than that there wasn't much of a scare factor. $22 dollars to get scared maybe 5 times? Not worth the money. read more

So me a my lady decided to go to here today after work and I am glad we did!! You pull up to this huge factory with very impressive props for scary items!! You have to sign a waiver first in case you lose items or get hurt inside lol! Then you will get to take a free pic in front of one awesome backdrop....( once you provide your number)Once you pay you will wait in line until it is your turn but as you wait you hear scary music and see horror trivia on tv screens everywhere. I got about 3 answers correct . Once in it is going to be so much going on lol. You know I don't do spoilers, so you will definitely enjoy yourself it you watch horror movies . Was not a fan. The props and decorations lacked creativity, was not nearly as spooky as some other places have been. STAFF IS SUPERRRRRR RUDE!!! Overpriced and unexciting. I will most likely never ever revisit. Save yourself the headache and make the drive the other scarier establishments. This was my second time at the Factory of Terror, and the fact that I came back says something. I have yet to find a better haunted attraction in the area -- other than Spooky World, which is just way over budget. The Factory will set you back $20 for adults, but there is an online coupon if you get tickets in advance (note: they only accept cash on site). I think it's worth it for a solid 15-20 minutes of fear-induced anxiety and anticipation. Although, if you are towards the end of your group, the anticipation is diminished a bit because you can see and hear the reactions of the people in front of you. One actor did get the better of me by jumping around a corner in front of me, causing me to scream, despite knowing he was there. The entire production is really well-done, and nothing is sloppy. The actors are totally invested and do their best to frighten you without giving you a heart attack. I will say the place is very dark -- one section plunged you into complete darkness, which I wasn't a fan of for safety reasons -- which adds to the ambience but also prevents you from seeing all of the well-laid props throughout the tour. This year, they added a 3D section, at the start of which, a witch handed you a pair of 3D glasses. This was excellent; the floor, walls and ceiling all featured 3D effects, along with the actors' costumes. The section included a metal walkway within a rapidly rotating tunnel, which really messed with everyone's sense of balance. There were several parts with inflatable walls that you had to squeeze your way through -- a feature that could make even a non-claustrophobic person claustrophobic. We went early the Friday before Halloween and waited about 15 minutes. The line may look long, but it moves quickly, and there are several actors trolling the line to keep you entertained. One silently crept up behind a member of my party and just stood there, looking grim, until we noticed him. Being here twice, I will probably be back. The exhibit changes slightly every year, and I think it's a good time around Halloween. read more

Some friends and I went here on a Saturday night and the line was three blocks long, but moved at a decent rate. Since we paid $20 for admission, we expected to be scared out of our wits for at least an hour... but it only seemed to last for about 15-20 minutes. We were led into the first of 30 rooms behind a group of strangers, which slimmed down the scare factor for us because they always got scared before we did and we always knew what to expect. A lot of rooms were empty and only had music and props. At the beginning, there were tons of workers who popped out to scare us and followed us and showed us where to go. Towards the end, we were basically lost and wandering on our own. The worst part about the experience was the abrupt end. There's basically an employee dressed up all scarily that points you to the exit, which is a regular-lit room with a staircase going downstairs leading to the street. You will probably spend a longer time getting here and standing in line than actually being inside this "Factory of Terror." Save your money and time. read more

Pros: -takes 10-15 minutes to get through the whole thing so lots of chances to get scared -right downtown in a decent part of Fall River -Price is ok -Definitely not too scary for little kids, honestly probably best for little kids and not teens or adults Cons: -not that many actors there to scare you. Fairly long periods went by without anyone jumping and making noise to scare you -not many interesting rooms (no great scary theme rooms that lots of other houses have) just lots of dark hallways and skulls, etc. Overall not bad but I would only recommend for those with kids. For $21, and 30 rooms of "terror" I was expecting more. The entrance was cool, you purchase your ticket at a mock motel counter. But after that, it was less impressive. You walk through 30 rooms, with a scene set up but there were no live people! Through the whole tour, I saw a few people in the begining, and a few people at the end. And when there were people, most of them were just standing in the halls in your way, very few were jumping out at you, this made it less scary. This place has alot of potential. With a little more effort, it could easily be a great attraction. Overall, Ive experienced better. I probably wouldnt recommend it. read more

The Factory of Terror is such a modern day Ponzi scheme, it makes you want to start a go-fund-me page for Bernie Madoff, as he now appears to be an innocent man. This place is an absolute joke. The prices continue to go up, year after year. But not only do they not add anything to make it worth your increased admission, but they have literally removed props and effects. In what universe does one charge more and offer less? For instance, this past season was the first time they haven't had any prop chainsaws for their actors. This place clearly doesn't care about the "experience" of their clientele. It almost appears cynical. A "wam-bam, thank you ma'am, that'll be $22 per person." PER PERSON. That's outrageous. So if you're a family of four or five, that's roughly $100 or more for you to walk through a run-down warehouse that literally smells like piss, which requires practically no overhead maintenance. The place isn't even heated. So needless to say, this past Halloween will be the last time I ever set foot in this horrendous waste of time and money. I would recommend beginning your search for a new haunted attraction, as I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that this place will have closed shop come next year. read more

I was hesitant to go here after reading several negative reviews on other pages- but my sister and I were determined to go. This was our first time going to the "Factory of Terror" and we were not at all disappointed! At first we were worried it was going to be a bunch of teenage girls screaming at really bad props- and there were LOTS of teenagers there- but that was to be expected. The line was very long- and we arrived about ten minutes before it was supposed to open. We waited abut half an hour outside- they had a guy dressed up like Beetlejuice walking around heckling- too funny. After going inside- our nerves were already on high alert- expecting something or someone to jump out and get us. We had to wait in yet another line inside- but I appreciated the fact they only let a few people in at a time- made it much scarier. Cramped rooms would only have been annoying- not scary. We were screaming our brains out the entire time! Definitely worth the $20 bucks we paid to get in. We were talking about it for over an hour after we left- reliving the amazing things we saw inside. I don't want to give too much away- but the "actors" in there were excellent, and they have the fright part down pat! Just a heads up though- this place is NOT for anyone who is highly claustrophobic- as there are lots of dark areas, very disorienting at times- but that only heightens the scary factor. I went here on a Saturday night. There was only a short line and it moved pretty quickly. The cost of admission for adults was $21 which was a little steep. There were some scary costumed people (clowns) outside harassing the crowd and there was an Edward Scissorhands. Not scary, just funny. This haunted house is HUGE. There are a lot of rooms and sometimes it is hard to see, which makes it scary. But sometimes, it is confusing to figure out which way to go. There were a lot of rooms with no people and just props. I wish some of the decorations were animatronics, but that's not the case. That being said, there are a lot of scary people inside and everyone in my group was startled or scared more than once. The workers do a good job of creeping up behind you and scaring you. Overall, pretty creepy. I had a good time. Some things could be improved but I had fun and it was worth the drive from Boston. read more

I went to Factory of Terror again This year! Yet again, had a blast! Definitely lots of scares! The monsters are definitely there to scare you. i was there in 2010 and back this year 2012. I noticed again a lot of empty spaces where there could have been a lot more monsters and great places for them, too! I was with a group of 7 when all of a sudden these two screaming annoying teenagers came running out of no where into our group. It ruined the entire haunt for us.. Now they were in front of us and we knew what was ahead. I'm not sure why they would let people from behind in so quickly.. But, it's definitely worth $20.00.. They need to get some more monsters for sure in that factory! The ones they DO have are really scary! read more

We paid twenty dollars a person to walk through a haunted houses and barely get jumped out at at all. There was literally a 10-15 minute period where we were just walking through the house and not a single person jumped out at us. Total rip off, go somewhere else. read more

We went for the first time last year and had so much fun so we decided to go back this year! I will say the staff does a great job at scaring you! The Michael Myers character makes u feel like your in the movie and plays it so on point its crazy..and the dead woman in white who follows u... SCARY for whomever is last in the group which is usually me.. lol.. The only negative is the props characters and setup seemed to be exactly the same as last year even down to the two creepy clown characters at the end. Charging $21 a person and not changing it up a bit for the following year with all the money they bring in? Only other negative was it smells like strong urine in a certain area which is pretty gross and they need to work on that! Basically if its your first visit you'll really like it... Just go back a few years later because nothing changes. read more

My boyfriend and I absolutely love going to haunted houses. We have lived In Maine for a few years, the haunted houses up north are really horrifying and awesome. We traveled down last year to go to a few down here in mass. Factory of terror was really one of the few I havent ever been too. When arriving I noticed the line was super long, but let's be real every haunted house has really long lines so oh well. I love when haunted houses make sure everything is planned out..we went in and I was so excited. Let's just say I get really scared, at this haunted house I could literally be first in line and not get scared! That's really sad because I'm usually almost taking off my boyfriends arm because I'm pulling and pushing him so much. This place is a waste of time and money read more

We go to a lot of events around Halloween. We stumbled upon Factory of Terror and were quite happy-I mean frightened! It was the best event I've been to in a long time. We went on a Sunday night. We got there right before opening. The characters who greeted us were fantastic! Very committed. One member of our party was pretty terrified the whole time. She is an adult and didn't let go of the biggest guy's jacket until we exited the building. Her husband wasn't too happy, but he understood. I thought everybody did a great job! We went to the one in Worcesterbecause the Fall River event was so good! read more

I've gone to The Factory of Terror in Fall River 3 times in my life. Each time I have gone it was an even worse experience than the last. I refuse to go there again at this point, but just hear me out, it's probably not for you reasons you'd think. It is scary fun, people popping out at you, strobe light rooms making it seem as if some creepy zombie is running up to you in stop motion, it's an awesome "haunted house". The issue however is the staff. I don't mean the staff that scare you, I mean the staff that follow each group through the factory to make sure things "run smoothly." I understand it's a business. The more people that visit, the more money they make. However, this place does not care about your enjoyment, just money. I'm an easy person to scare, so I always stayed at the back of my group during my 3 visits. Issue with that is I always had an employee literally pushing me through the factory the whole time. I mean this employee was honestly holding my shoulder and pushing me through the factory. At one point, I swear on everything I love, this employee said to me "don't you know how to walk?! move faster!" I'm sure anyone reading this has probably gone through that cylindrical room in which the walls spin and make you seem like you're going to fall over. I was in that room when an employee pushing my group told me to walk faster. I flipped out on him at that point, and then was escorted out of the building. I paid good money to visit this place, and I was being rushed through it. I just feel bad for most customers because there's nothing much else "better" in the area. So people are forced to pay ridiculous prices, only to be literally pushed through the entire building, without being able to enjoy anything. I never wish bad things against anyone, but I do hope that this place becomes a thing of the past that no one goes to anymore. Be intelligent like me. Don't spend $30 to be forced through something without being given a split second to enjoy it. Imagine paying to go see a movie, and the person controlling the movie constantly presses the fast forward button to get the show you're watching over with ASAP, so they can bring in a new group of paying customers. Trust me, don't waste your time or money. Stay home, have some drinks and watch a scary movie with some friends. read more

Massive disappointment. Last time I was here was about 5 years ago...I have been visiting several haunted houses each year but never made it down to Factory of Terror until tonight. It was the Monday of Columbus Day weekend and was supposed to be their "lights out" night. It was awful. Got there to very small of a line which was great, but I think they decided to send all their staff home! We literally encountered maybe 10 people through the entire haunt. None of them scared my group. It was lame and so blahhhh. You would think the month of October which is pretty much the only month their open they would keep their entire staff there. Well seems like tonight was a different story. It had a lot of potential, but was very disappointing. Will not recommend to others. read more

I brought a group of seven 14 year olds for my son's birthday. We got there 20 minutes before it opened so the line was not a problem. I had been to this same location a few years before with another child and was prepared for long lines but they failed to materialize. Once inside the attraction I was disappointed by the lack of a theme. The attraction itself was dirty, musty, and poorly maintained. Located within the maze of plywood walls were a variety of costumed performers who would jump out and scream. Although they tried to instill fright they more often came off as being simply bored shrill harpies. The attraction was way too bright and lacked any cohesiveness. The only frightening thing about the attraction was the price. $21.50 for 12-15 minutes of sub par entertainment. Upon leaving you couldn't miss the trash (bottles,food wrappers, a dirty diaper) nestled within the nook and crannies of the building. It is too bad that the owners took so little pride in the production values of their attraction and the building/neighborhood in which it is located. Clean up !!!!! Gross!!!! read more
