Patrice is my hygienist for the past few visits and she is great. I can't say the same about the desk staff anymore. The only doctor today is Dr Trapani and seems like he has a difficult case with one of his patients and everyone has to wait without having any of the office staff apologizing for the delay and explaining what's going on. It's time to have at least 2 dentist at all time in the office. I don't come just for x-rays and clean up. The most important part of a dentist visit is the evaluation to keep up with a healthy teeth. I am very disappointed that I a have to advocate for myself to want to be seeing by Dr Trapani, otherwise I was just going to be dismissed until my next appointment. On Monday morning at 8:15, I called the office # and was surprised that Dr. Nevins, himself, had answered the phone (sounded like he was in his car.) He told me to come in at noon that same day. After my consultation with him, he told me he could do the first part of the procedure that same day at 3pm. Since I work in Southampton, it was easy enough for me to go back to work for a few hours and then return to have the work done. Dr. Nevins and his staff are all so sweet, gentle and caring. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional yet super friendly and patient. I tend to get really worried before and during dental procedures but Dr Lehrman always took the time to explain thoroughly what was going on, pausing and stopping his work to reassure me and make me feel at ease. Another huge advantage of going to Dr Lehrman's office is that he is equipped with some of the most advanced equipment that I have ever seen. During one of my periodontal procedures, as a more typical tool was not performing as ideally as it should have, Dr Lehrman whipped out an extremely interesting machine that one can only find in France (pre-COVID, he used to travel extensively to dental conferences led by world renown expert and he was able to equip his office with rare but remarkably useful tools and instruments), so he was able to perform the procedure well and efficiently. Dr Lehrman's use of lasers is nothing short of extraordinary. Not only did I avoid an entire round of antibiotics following one of my procedures with him, but I also had very limited pain and swelling. Additionally, Dr Lehrman was able to spot and treat a completely different issue that I was unaware of myself, thanks to his proficient knowledge and use of lasers. Today, I am happy to report that I almost feel bad that all my periodontal issues have been resolved by Dr Lehrman, because that means I probably won't be seeing him for a while. I highly, highly recommend him, he is the only dentist that I've seen that practically became a friend. Thank you Dr Lehrman!

Huge reason for that was fear as the last time I went it was for a deep cleaning, and well 'never again' right? 4. If you're going for periodontal work, it's already the future and tech is the way to go. 5. Why not go to the first periodontist certified to do so From the initial phone call with the receptionist (10 for her alone ), to the consult, procedure, and post-op visits.... service with a smile pun intended. I was assured it would be comfortable, pain free and so it was. Full mouth LANAP was done in an hour and change. Three little very bearable pinches on the surface of the gums for anesthesia (which was one of my main fears from '04), no sweat. Dr. Lerhman made sure I was cool calm ans collected the entire time. Explained what he was doing step by step throughout the procedure. Just from LANAP, within three months, my teeth have shifted closer together and my overall health has gotten better. My gums are as healthy as can be, mouth is clean, teeth stains from tobacco tea and coffee are gone! 16 years of unhealthy periodontal disease reset in an hour. I am disabled along with plenty additional health problems and even the accommodations to the limitations of my life have been attended to. Please don't listen to the trolls. I'm a satisfied ACTUAL patient.
