I made the mistake of trying another permanent brow artist that just didn't have the skill, she actually made my already bad situation even more difficult. I then discovered Carisa's work through my nail tech. Seriously, there are no words! Of course I was extremely skeptical because of my previous experience, but I followed her on instagram for months and finally decided she was the one. She beyond delivered! When you meet with her you are completely put at ease by her personality. She is so professional and comforting and takes her time during the consultation to discuss colors, expectations, and shape. Then she takes her time measuring and scaling EXACTLY where your brows should be, all the while communicating with you to make certain you're on the same page. When she starts the process of applying the time flies, I could honestly fall asleep during the process but find talking with her so easy that it's over before you known it. The results are mindblowingly PERFECT! I have been to her for the initial and a touch up now and this woman has changed my life! First and foremost, she altered the appearance of my left eye being lower (ladies, we all have that one!) and made me symmetrical! And now summers are so easy not worrying about makeup! Just with a change to the curl from a D to a c/cc. She did not take accountability for her mistake when I showed her the lash map to follow. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS!!!!! I scheduled an appointment with Asia to do my lashes and showed her photos of the lash map and how I wanted my lashes (as done by my usual lash artist). I reiterated I don't like the caterpillar look on my volume lashes and I wanted them wispy/texturized with a max length of 12. I said we can change the curl from a D to a c/cc and she delivered novice work and opposite of what I showed her and explained that I wanted. She does NOT stand on honest business and wanted to charge me another 120 to redo my lashes when she was the one who did not deliver what was requested. She kept saying it was a misunderstanding but how do you misunderstand photos? We agreed to redoing my lashes the next day and then after going home, she told me that appointment would be $120. I would never go back to her or recommend her work. She kept trying to tell me it's my fault for telling her something different but I in fact did not. I've had lash extensions for many many many years and never once did I have this horrible of an experience with a lash artist. The screenshots may not be in order but you can see the difference between the less than subpar work she gave me and what I told her I wanted.

Turns out my daughters boss had her brows done so of course I asked her where she went. MM Permanent cosmetics she said, go see Tami she's amazing. This clearly was a sign. My daughter and I talked about it and wanting to get it done. As a surprise for Christmas my daughter bought me eyebrows! It was the best gift EVER. So we booked an appointment online to go on the same day. The place is gorgeous and Tami (Tamara) is absolutely amazing. Right off the start she was like talking to a best friend so it really set the tone. She explained everything and all the different options. There are quite a few so don't be afraid to ask her what is best for you. Tami took pictures, measured where my brows should start, where my arch should be and the proper length for my face. I guess I really didn't realize how little to no brow I actually had left. Tami instantly started drawing my brows out by hand with this magic pencil of hers. I couldn't even believe how real the hair strokes looked with just her drawing them on! Starting to really get excited now! Tami made sure everything was to my liking before we got started. I decided to go with the nano brows as they looked the most natural. Now here comes the unpleasant but not unbearable part....She makes several channels in your brows that feel like you are being scratched. It's not painful but the noise was a bit unsettling to me. Almost sounded like paper being ripped. All this is done by hand. She applies custom colors to match your natural hair. Then you get numbing cream because it's going to absorb better. It definitely helps but the noise is still gross LOL. So you can bring headphones if you want but I really enjoyed talking to Tami. The entire process maybe took about 45 minutes. Let me tell you it was SO worth every penny! When she showed me my finished brows I couldn't believe it! I'm still in shock waking up with actual eyebrows! They look like REAL hair. Tami went over all care procedures. Gave us soap to wash our brows with and special lotion so they heal properly. She also gave us her phone number and told us we could message her with any questions we may have along the way. When I got home my husband even said my brows looked great. It's SO nice waking up and actually having eyebrows. I also enjoy not having to worry about penciling anything on or worrying that I've wiped half of my brow off. Plus it saves so much time. The following day Tami messaged us to make sure everything was okay. I though that was a super nice touch. She also sent me and my daughter the before and after photos. Please see the photos below they speak volumes themselves. I have little to no brows and my daughters were thicker but sparse in areas. You have NO idea how important eyebrows are to your face. If you are on the fence about going here's what I'm going to say.....Just go see Tami at MM Permanent Cosmetics you will be so happy you did!
