I am seeing a ton of positive things said about this company and that's great, however my…read moreexperience with Legacy Painting have not gone very well and after almost 2 months reflecting on this, I'm ready to share my thoughts. For starters we were looking to have our house painted. We had 3 estimates and based on professionalism and price, Legacy was the clear winner. 2 other positive things I'll say is the guy that wrote up the contract including repairs to the house and the gentleman who pressure washed the house were also good. This is where things get negative. The painters are Spanish and my wife and I are English and all communication was never very clear. There were days they waved goodbye and I replied "all done for the day" and they reply yes. But a few hours later they show up and go back to work. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but we have a dog that's not so stranger friendly and they opened the back gate why our dog was in the backyard. My wife tried letting the woman know "please don't come in" but she didn't understand, causing us to hastily get the dog back in the house. Other issues involving the contract to repair the house were ignored and just painted over what we paid for repairing. My wife tried reaching out to see why this had happened, but we really never got an answer. Parts of the house need another coat of paint, and as far as we know no one ever came to inspect completion and all pictures we take won't show the areas that needed extra work. The last thing I will say and what bothers me the most, we instructed days we would be out of town and didn't want anyone over for any reason. While on vacation are ring camera was going nuts and someone was walking around cleaning up. We had so many issues with Legacy my wife did try reaching out personally, but she never got a clear resolution. Talking to my wife about what we have as a finished product is very disappointing to her. She is the most reasonable person I know and is hoping to just get the paint used so we could just finish ourselves and move on.

We waited for the window of good weather, and the team punctually and diligently completed the work in 4.5 days. The team was meticulous, clean, and careful. We did not need to say much as the quality of work and final touch ups before the walk around was so well done. The pricing was competitive and after seeing the work done, we definitely received fantastic value for the money! The team even helped to replace a broken vent cover which had an old and empty bird nest behind it! We are very pleased with the results and for the trouble-free experience. In retrospect it was to save cash, the buckets of paint have another project name on them. Next, even after a change in scope from two colors down to a single color, the cost was not updated. In retrospect I shouldn't have written the check but even after follow up communication and questions there has been no change. In addition, he and his team replaced a quite a few fascia boards as ours had rotted. David overbought the boards and then left the unused boards in my backyard. Finally, He left early from the project, leaving his team who did not clean up the entire mess. There was also no final project walk through and so I have a couple spots left that were missed.

He and his crew are highly skilled hard workers with attention to detail completely respect and use care around your entire property as well as inside your home while they assess decks patios and everything else. Raven painting company was easily able to acquire premium Sherwin-Williams super paint for my project when all other contractors who placed bids were telling me it was impossible to get any time this year due to factory shortages damage at some out-of-state manufacturing plant etc. When it comes to a large project like this that you expect to do once every 10 to 15 years it's a big decision and you don't necessarily want to go with the lowest better and unlikely you want to go with the high bidder. Chris's estimate was right in the very fair middle area and he lived up to every agreed-upon term and completed things in a timely fashion working with the weather and absolutely knocked it out of the ballpark. If you have an interior or an exterior painting project you would be doing yourself a great disservice if you did not at least consult Raven painting company and give them an opportunity to do your job

We hired them for color consultation, to fix drywall cracks and nail pops, completely repaint the primary bedroom, and to paint accent walls in every room. Beth helped us narrow it down from about 8 colors down to 4, and then helped us finally settle on the final color. Tommy did an outstanding job correcting the drywall problems to the point (see before and after photos) that you cannot tell that there was ever a problem. He set a clear game plan at the beginning of the day, didn't overpromise what he could deliver, and followed-up at the end of the day after clean-up. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome, and I know you would be too if you hired them for your project.

From the beginning, Sam was the most responsive communicator of all the companies I reached out to, which is one of the reasons we chose him for the job. His bid was reasonable, and we liked his professionalism. When we asked to reschedule from the spring because a bird had built its nest right next to the house, Sam was very gracious and said he'd work us in once the babies had flown the nest. He then booked us for the week of the 4th of July, and two of his guys worked a full day on the holiday to get everything done within a week. This was during a heat wave, so we were especially impressed by their work ethic! They also showed great attention to detail, which is evident in how beautiful it looks. We will be booking with Sam again to do the interiors in September, before we put the house on the market. We're confident that it will look great to buyers!

I hired Corey and his crew to paint my home that is currently being remodeled. I paid him for the…read moreservice plus the cost of materials. The crew that came rushed through the initial paint job. There was wall paint on the ceiling in some places and in others ceiling paint on the walls. I had to ask them to clean paint off of my new pellet stove in my living room as they did not have it covered while painting. They also put 2 holes in my master bathroom wall that still needs to be repaired. The paint job was horrible and patchy. The wall paint was thin and did not cover completely. When asked to return to fix the problems the problems just got worse. They tried to patch the bathroom holes and did a terrible job. They repainted around the ceiling and top of the walls to fix the over paint and did not tape the lines so there was still paint on the walls and ceiling that didn't belong. The 3rd time they came to fix what they had done I had just had my hardwood floors installed. The painters Got paint all over my brand new floors. Said he had dirty drop clothes so he didn't want to use them. He Used and stole my tools from my garage. He even Took and broke my swiffer out of my garage to clean the wet paint off my brand new wood floors. When he did that he got paint in the wood grain of my hand scraped wood floors that will not come off. When I spoke to Corey, The owner, Corey Told me to file a claim and also told me to hire another painter. Said the crew he provided was fired for their poor performance and he had nothing else to give. I'm so disappointed that someone can provide such terrible unprofessional service and not care or try to help fix the problem. Hope you learn from my mistakes and hire someone else

I found Corey on Craigslist, initially. He was friendly and had time available to go to my parents home and provide a bid. The bid was such a reasonable bid, I was concerned since many local competitors were twice as much. I asked Corey for references and called each one. I googled his company and his references and license was insured and bonded. Great! I hired him! He completed our home on proposed schedule, with base primer and final coat! Thank you Corey. I was a bit of a skeptic with all the glowing reviews but figured, let give him a shot and like many other customers, I couldn't be happier with this decision. Gabriel stands by his work and goes above and beyond with customer service. For exterior house painting, his bid came in competitive and he indicated he would provide 2 coats of paint. As we walked around the house I was impressed by all the items he was calling out that they would take care of after pressure washing and for prep along with his attention to detail. When they showed up to do the work, I provided input on a few things just to make sure that it wouldn't be missed during prep and they always said sure, we'll take care of it without hesitation. Gabriel even helped me understand their process further and explained a few things to me, which I appreciated. During the final walk through, I already marked a handful of small things with tape (inevitably there will always be a few touchups and polishing touches needed) and Gabriel was quick to add more blue tape for items that he would fix. The house looks amazing and I get lots of compliments from neighbors. I will continue to use and refer High Quality Painting, LLC.
