You have the option of going to Heather's in-home studio or her/staff member coming to your home (for an additional price). I opted for Heather to come to my home. A down payment was required and I was set. She arrived promptly on time and we hit it off instantly. Heather has a very warm and welcoming spirit and her vision for my make-up was spot on with my cocktail attire. As stated before, she did a PHENOMENAL job! We talked about a variety of skincare products, make-up options I could do on my own, and brands that aren't often sought after but are really good. A few months later she had a special make-up presentation at her home and she invited me to attend...just a classy and business savvy lady. I kept going because she was keeping my eyebrows on the fleek status. Now, the last time I went to her, a couple of months ago, this is what happened (see pictures). I think she had just gotten back from a trip or something so we didn't even go to the basement she just pulled up a chair and did my eyebrows in the hallway. It hurt but you eyebrow threading ain't no walk in the park so I didn't think anything of it. You know how you have those tears in your eyes because of the pain and when she hands you the mirror you kind of squint and say thanks, well that's what happened. It wasn't til I got home that I saw this. She literally tore my skin off. It scabbed and such and I still have a little scar, mine you this was a couple of months ago. I contact her and she has immediate availability. Hooray! I arrive at her home and it is lovely. We go down to her salon set up and it is large and clean. Double Hooray! So far, so good! I sit in her chair and she goes to work on my eyebrows. Five minutes later she hands me the mirror and I could not believe she had done anything to my eyebrows. There was no shape, they were still untamed, and they looked almost as bad as they did when I walked in. I smile, thank her for her services, and pay. I figured there was no point in showing dissatisfaction because I would not be comfortable allowing her to do anything further to my eyebrows. I then had to drive to the mall to find someone who could fix my eyebrows because I was not having my shapeless brows. The lady who I found in the mall to do my eyebrows did not believe me when I told her that I just got them done! Tia is a nice woman, and based on the reviews I am sure she does offer good services. She just does not give that arched brow look that I like to go for. It is not necessarily a bad thing, just my personal preference.
