That said, a friend of mine strongly recommended IVme, and I'm so glad she did. The calming, welcoming vibe here is great to start. It's giving med-spa with the overall aesthetic. I was greeted by the receptionist and given water while I waited. Kayleigh, the nurse injector I met with, was so so great. She made me feel at ease, walked me through the process/any potential questions, and -give my past experience - even broke down the different types of botox and what she'd be using for me specifically. To me, the service itself is of course important, but I also just notice and appreciate when the person providing the service just really feels trusting, and like they care. Personally, I only get units in my forehead and find it to be pretty painless (quick pokes), so I can't speak to other areas for injectables. Pleasant, relaxing, & fairly priced. After a few moments, our massage therapists greeted us and walked us back to the room and talked to each of us separately to understand what our sore areas were and what we needed most from our session. I've had quite a few massages in my life and this was hands down the best massage! She was gentle yet effective at getting out the knots and relaxing all of the sore muscles I had. When it was over, even 80 minutes flies by too fast, we were offered water or tea and headed back to the waiting room where special Valentine's Day macaroons waited for us with our drinks. Upon check in, we were offered refreshments, from water to mimosas. The afternoon started with a deep tissue massage. My therapist, Debbie did an incredible job identifying knots and working them out. The entire experience was very calming. After the massage, we had appointments for pedicures. Sara was great and did an excellent job pampering my feet. The paraffin wax treatment also provided comfort to my ankles which take a beating from running. We'll be back for sure.

One thing to remember if you're going there for the first time - Pay attention when driving there. My therapist was Alyssa, and she greeted me, very friendly. I was offered a drink - water, tea, coffee - which I didn't need, so we went right in. I loved walking through the inside; it's so pretty! And I didn't have to use it, but their bathrooms also looked so clean. Alyssa also gave me a bottle of water after the session, which I did need. All the products they used were Dermalogica, which coincidentally is the brand I am using presently. They even had the higher end of the line products. I love it when a salon doesn't skimp out on the products. I've been to places where they use very generic products, and though the facial is good, you know your facial isn't really top notch because the product that stays in your face wasn't great. The spa has been open for a year and has all the signs of staying around for a long time!
