I didn't know what I was going to do. My dog Frankie had nearly 4k of surgery needed and still needed another. I had exhausted every financial realm I had access to. Frankie is my little boy and it wasn't an option to not help him. Just when I thought there was no hope FACE foundation stepped in and helped. I feel so grateful and overwhelmed with what they did for us. Everyone was so friendly and helpful through the whole process. You saved my baby! Thank you forever and ever.

I cannot say enough good things about this organization. Don't know or how the other person could even think of saying such terrible things. I have seen first hand how this organization works to save the lives of animals. Not all can be saved but they do their best to work with family and pets that are in need. Please do not give a bad review on this foundation, be truthful. It's not truth when trying to spread untruths in this non profit organization. They need all the donors they can get to help save lives of many pets! You could end up hurting a much needed animal in the end with your vicious untrue words. They try to raise money not steal money! Keep up the good work FACE and I will always continue to volunteer and donate when I can!

Face 4 pets saved my buddy's life! My 1 year d German shepherd was hit by a car in front of my house, nobody stopped to help him, he had a compound fracture to his back leg. His bones were completely out of his skin and blood was everywhere. We were facing a $5000 vet bill to fix his leg, a $3000 bill to amputate, or a $780 bill to put him down. With 4 small children none of those were good options. After the vet looked at his leg, fixing it wasn't an option anymore. It would mean multiple surgeries and a very painful healing process. Amputation or Death were what we were faced with. Thanks to the Face Foundation we were able to amputate his leg and he is still here with us happy as ever!! This foundation is an amazing organization who actually cares about saving animals!

Annual event!

Such a great Foundation. I love that there are people like this out there to help animals get the care they need even if they can't afford it. I love their Bags and Baubles Event. This lovely couple allows them to have a fantastic event annually at their beautiful estate in RSF. Lovely gently used and new bags, jewels, sunglasses and pet stuff to bid on. Raffles, wine stations, sodas and waters. They always have a lovely set up of food with servers walking around with snacks also. They have bird cages and weiner dog crossings one the property and clearly have an open heart for animals and raising money to help. You pull onto the street, valet your car and wait for a shuttle to take you up to the house. This year is was a very hot but beautiful day to shop. I have to say this year I was a bit disappointed in the bag options. Everything is starting out really high too as far as pricing. The start bids are a lot and then the increments are gapped too. Be prepared to spend hundreds if you are buying anything!

A little over a week ago we were faced with an unexpected emergency with our 4 year old male Cat, Peanut. Thanks to the Face Foundation we were able to save our friend. I am so grateful for the kindness and understanding and support we were provided. Our kitty is on the rebound, and the Face Foundation is to thank. I cannot commend them enough!!!

About three weeks ago, our 5 year old pug Sophie tried to jump on the couch to cuddle and didn't make it. Sophie fell down onto her back and suffered an injury called Intervertebral Disc Disease from acute trauma. With this injury, Sophie was unable to walk. We rushed Sophie to the animal hospital where they said her greatest chance of walking again would be this surgery. As a young family, we did not have the money that was needed for the surgery to be done. The FACE foundation paid $4800.00 for Sophie to have a back surgery to repair the herniated discs in her back. The surgery that the FACE foundation paid for allowed Sophie to walk again. Such a wonderful foundation that helped us through a very scary time for our family!!

Casted up after surgery and happy with all four legs

FACE saved my little girl from having 3 legs! A couple weeks ago before giving my GSP Noodle a bath in the back yard she was over excited and jumped up to give me a hug while my back was turned and I was unable to catch her and she landed on her leg wrong and snapped it in half. I went to the vet and they said it would possibly be cheaper to amputate her leg than do the surgery but they said to Co tact the FACE foundation before making that decision. I did and within a couple days they approved noodles for her surgery! Now she's happy healing at home and once she's all healed up will be back to rock climbing and backpacking with me

This is my 8 year old husky and her egg sized life threatening bladder stone.

ZERO! this is a picture of my baby Sapphira and her egg sized bladder stone. Her bladder was full of urine blood and pus. She had an extremely high temperature. She would have died without her life saving surgery. I reached out to this organization only to be told that stones are common in female dogs that I should seek for her a change of diet or a method to dissolve. By this time the foundation had already been reached regarding the status of my baby by my vet. The person I spoke with pretended to play down the issue. No emotion and asked that I send my financial information but that most likely I'd be denied. All I needed was $1500 to save her life. Thanks for seeing me only as an applicant and having no regard for my baby. Unfortunately the app requires I leave one star but in reality my review is ZERO.

Right after surgery, a little medicated!

I immediately gravitated towards her because she had a way of explaining things that made sense to me. We stayed in touch even after puppy graduation and I would text her from time to time to ask questions or stay in touch. I found her on social media and loved her training information. Then when my now 1.5 year old puppy was full grown and became harder to manage we got back in touch and she'd offer suggestions. Finally when she neared the age of 2 I realized I needed professional help Amillie came in and once again explained things even on our first session in a way I could understand and broke down behaviors for me. I actually have 2 giant breed Greater Swiss mountain dogs and she has helped me with training both of them. Mainly frustration reactivity for my younger female "puppy" and then being able to successfully loose leash walk both of them together (2 strong willed and physically strong, with a combined weight of ~200 lb) female dogs. Each time we meet I leave with so much information. She's been great and I only wish we started training them with Amillie when my girls were younger. You won't regret this partnership or Amillie's expertise. Training comes natural to her. It's a gift and that's with me already having had 2 large breed independent dogs before working with her!

The moment we pull into the lot, he's already excited to go inside -- which tells me everything I need to know. The staff is incredibly caring, attentive, and professional. It's clear they genuinely love dogs and treat every pet like their own. Bleu always comes home happy, well-exercised, and relaxed, which is exactly what you want when trusting someone with your dog. The facility is clean, well-organized, and designed so dogs can play, socialize, and rest comfortably. I also really appreciate the communication and how easy they make the drop-off and pick-up process. If you're in San Diego and looking for a place where your dog will be safe, cared for, and genuinely enjoy their time, I can't recommend Pet Snug Resort enough. Bleu can't wait to go back -- and neither can we.

Our fur baby is now going back for his second Master Class, and Barb was incredibly helpful in getting everything set up for that as well. Barb's customer service, knowledge, and kindness made the entire process easy and stress-free. We highly recommend SNUG to anyone looking for quality training, boarding, and grooming services for their furry family members!

Classes were on time and kept small each week. The instructor gave good feedback and was always happy to answer questions before, during, or after class. Prices are reasonable as well for group puppy classes. I felt our puppy was safe in the class even though she hadn't completed all vaccinations. We disinfect our shoes before entering. I removed two stars because I feel communication was very poor. It was hard to get a hold of anyone. I often had to leave voicemails when calling the main line and didn't always hear back. My dog was out in the wrong class initially for large dogs (she was 3 lbs at the time) and I had to stress about moving her until I could finally get someone to answer my calls and switch her. After finishing my puppy class I asked twice about the intermediate class and never heard back. It shouldn't be that hard to continue to spend money. The instructor didn't always reply to emails and I wasn't set up with the online learning center until a few weeks into class. I had to ask several weeks in row to get access to the online learning portal before it was sent to me.

I saw improvement with Meatball's arthritis in a few weeks, whereas I did not see much improvement at the place where I took Meatball to first. I wish I found Dr. Sosna right away. She is personable, patient, kind, honest, dedicated, and a great resource for my many other non-physical therapy dog-related health questions. My dog had 4 acupuncture sessions with Dr Sosna. I know nothing about acupuncture but can say he has responded well. His insurance capped him at $400- the consultation was $350, and acupuncture ( about 40min ) is $220. This clinic is at best "modest". There is Dr Sosna and a woman named Yvanna. I forwarded an emai form from our insurance, I have followed through with 3 vm and now 2 emails but Dr Sosna has yet to send off the records for this $1k bill I regret I took.my Vet's and his employee's recommendation for Dr Sosna, I should have checked with other Vet clinics that offer acupuncture. I have now done so. Dr Sosna is one of 2 that charges highest prices- yet her overhead is lowest. Pet insurances now charge far more than in previous years. Vets charge more- especially as nearly all Vet clinics are corporate owned And this is why insurance companies charge more and reinburse much less. Imagine a family of 4- dad brings home $130k, can they afford dog acupuncture at $220 for 45min? No. So dogs will endure pain, families may turn them over to Humane Society or euthanized. Should human acupuncture cost 1/3 cost of animal? I write this to let you know your dog and you have options: highly regarded Tsavos, East- West, and other clinics charge far LESS than Dr Sosna- you may need to travel an extra 20min but consider this: 10acupucture sessions at this clinic is $2200, but at others you may save $100 in first consult and $1k for 10sessions! Oh, and clinics will be presentable, they have receptionist who will forward records that same day to your insurance so you can schedule your pup for treatment As a dog mom it saddens me that I wrote a bad review- don't blame me, blame the vet.
