I have gone an entire month that I paid for and only tanned twice despite trying all the time. I show up and their door is locked. I am used to going home and doing touch-ups under a magnifying glass with a lamp with tweezers. I get downright obsessive. I got a recommendation to try Paulette from a friend when I moved here. After my first appointment, I came home, got out the lamp and tweezers, and...THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE STRAY HAIR. I was absolutely shocked. This woman is a goddess, seriously. I am admittedly hard to please but I am blown away! I don't care if we ever move away, I will make the drive to her! Could not be more pleased.

Lovely products, meh service…read more First, the products: I ordered the 5-piece rosacea kit. It smells whole-earth, contains only natural ingredients, and has no dyes or fake fragrances. My skin's dry, yet I can't use all the products together as recommended because the effect is too rich. Result: pimples! The service: When I bought my kit on-line, the computer said the items ordered were in stock. A follow-up email from Zenmed reiterated that claim. Five weeks passed. I complained. Fast response from a company rep, who said that another email was sent out warning me that some of the items in the kit were "temporarily" out of stock. I don't recall receiving this email. I reckon this is the "zen" in Zenmed, this concept of "temporary." To me, five weeks is a long time for an item to ship out. But ship out my order did, a couple days after I complained. Another wait, this time for 22 calendar days. It's a Canadian company and the products ship from the States. So, I'm deducting one point for the service and another point because, in my experience, controlling rosacea is more about diet and sunscreen and less about products. As long as the products don't make things worse.

My family and I went in for a spray tan before our trip to Cuba. My sister was in getting hers when…read moreI arrived so I was told to take a seat and I'd be in shortly. When it came to be my turn she asked how dark I wanted to be and I said "Dark. I'm not afraid of being too dark" and she said "yeah we go by the picture" and pointed at a tanned body in different lighting shades, so I said yeah sure that works I guess" I get sprayed, and then dressed in a gown and I'm directed to go to a stand up tanning bed for 5 minutes. I did not get goggles to use so I was basically squeezing my eyeballs shut the entire time I was in there. So we all finish and go home. This is not my first spray tan here, so I know the aftercare. When I got home and felt dry (1-2 hours post tan now) I see dribble marks on my thighs and chest. I try not to think much of it and wait the full 4 hrs / overnight to see what my tan looks like. The next day my legs were dark, my chest was dark and the rest of my body looked untouched. Plus I had what looked like water marked areas I know didn't get wet or drip. To make things worse this "tan" I had lasted 1-2 days. I didn't shower, I made sure to exfoliate before my appointment, I didn't sweat, I don't know what went wrong. But I'm unimpressed. And the woman who did our tans couldn't stop talking about how quick she wanted to get out of there to start her weekend. Felt rushed and I'm generally unimpressed. I recommended this salon because I'd gotten a tan from here quite a while ago and it was great. So I brought my family here, we ALL got the same result. Not just me. So I do NOT recommend this place for a spray tan.
