The the RF Microneedling sessions took everything to the next level. My texture looks smoother, my pores appear smaller, and my skin feels firmer and more youthful. The HydraFacial left my skin feeling super clean, hydrated, and glowing--I noticed the difference immediately. I've also been getting my eyebrows threaded/shaped by her for years. She does an amazing job. Sonu is incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely caring. She explained every step of the treatments, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and created such a relaxing, welcoming environment. You can tell she truly loves what she does. If you've been considering these treatments, I highly recommend booking with Sonu. The glow is REAL!

I like going in for facials there. Shauna, their medical aesthetician, is helpful and friendly. The wait time can vary, but never too long. I've seen Dr. Galambos (who was my favourite, but no longer works there), Dr. Chadda and Dr. Cumberland. All were very professional and informative. They do carry a number of products in their office but do not push by any measurement. Tried talking to them about my Eczema, but told me I'd have to get a referral to a dermatologist. Overall, nice little place.

Tip: This business is online and specializes in quality nail wraps…read more I've been using nail wraps for a few years now. I like them over nail polish because the latter takes what feels like forever to dry, even when using a nail fan to dry the polish. My favourite nail wrap brand is Dashing Diva. I used to buy them at Winners, but they are no longer available at the stores that I frequent regularly. I liked the cheaper prices at Winners. Shoppers Drug Mart has a couple of Dashing Diva styles that go for $14 and I refuse to buy them at that price. When I do visit the States, TJ Maxx has Dashing Diva products. I tend to stock up before I return home. Long story short, I have been trying to find an online business that specializes in quality nail wraps like Dashing Diva. I have finally found Peachy Peach Nails that fits all criteria. Quality. Lasts for at least two weeks. Cute designs. Prices that don't break the bank. The bonus? It's a Canadian business that hails from London, Ontario. Yay! This place has a decent selection of nail wrap designs. Each set of nails wraps goes for $5, which is highly affordable. You get 18 wraps in each set. I find that they are long enough that you can use one for two nails, such as your pinky finger's nail. If you buy four sets, you get a fifth for free, which feels like getting away with nail wrap murder. I placed my order and it got to me within five business days through Canada Post. Pretty good! I liked all the stickers on the envelope containing my order. I also got some shiny stickers. It's like this business knew me well for years. My laptop has stickers all over its clamshell case. What wowed me the most was a handwritten message, thanking me for my order. I am a sucker for personalized, handwritten messages. It was such a nice, thoughtful touch. My order came with a sample pack to practise prepping my nails, sticking the wraps on, filing them down, and admiring them. I also got a nail file and a cuticle stick that proved helpful. I tried the sample wraps and love them. The thickness is impressive. They go on smoothly. They file off nicely. I love them. Peachy Peach Nails has how-to videos on its online site. I have watched both the application and removal videos of their wraps. I have learned so much! I have been using a top coat to have my wraps last a lot longer. The site recommends not using Quo because it will shrink the wraps. I love Quo's top coat. Luckily, I ran out of it recently, so I won't use it on these wraps. The best time to apply the wraps is before going to bed. It allows the wraps to set and you won't be washing your hands while you sleep. For years, I tend to do my nails on a Sunday afternoon, after I'm done cooking up a storm and washing my hands like crazy. Although I don't wash my hands for a few hours, I have had to change my routine to doing them before I hit the sack. I love the nail wrap styles. Pandas. Rainbows and clouds. Cats. A dreamy purple pattern. Watercolours with glitter. Each style is so different. They are all so pretty and nice. It was wonderful to have found this business. I'm a fan. (352)

I held off on getting my hair cut for a while simply because I needed to find a new salon and I…read morejust cant stand disappointment. It all comes down to 'you get what you pay for' and I was sick of paying for something I wasn't happy with. I'll be honest, when it came down to it, I chose Vanity House because their location was close, I liked the look of the salon, they laid out their pricing on their website really well and their FB photos were nice. Their Yelp reviews were decent too ;-) I made an appointment with Alicia. A co-worker of mine said she was the best at blonde. Upon arrival I waited in the front for a little bit while the receptionist took care of a customer looking to book an appointment. This wasn't a big deal as I got to scope things out a little bit and check out the wares. She apologized for the wait and had me sit in the waiting area. She took my coat and offered to make me tea, coffee or water. I opted for one of their teas available, all loose leaf with interesting infusions. I had the green tea. They made me a whole pot to myself which was really cool. I really felt comfortable. When Alicia was ready, I pretty much let her have free rein with my hair. I explained what I was growing it out, and I needed to get rid of those pesky roots. She was honest with me and said that a partial highlight was all I needed and she openly stated what the pricing would be before she started. I appreciated that! She was a really pleasant girl to talk to. I learned a lot about her and she learned a lot about me. It was a really nice experience! Some highlights (heh!): -The tea/coffee was a cherry on top, a really nice feature -The scalp massage I received...oh my lord, heaven. -I LOVE the colour of my hair. The colour is vivid and spread really well throughout. -Alicia showed me some products that would help with volume and then continued to show me how to use a round brush AND styled my hair to show how to do it at home. It was very easy and something I could do myself. In the end, the only slight negative feeling I had was coming terms with the price of the haircut and the amount of hair that was left on the floor. She did a really good job with it and it will continue to grow out in a nice way. Like I said, you get what you pay for! I got a ton of compliments on my hair too. I will definitely be visiting this salon again. I cannot wait to try some new things to my style and see what Alicia and the rest of the team at Vanity House can do!

I will also assume that you occasionally need to get it cut into a style that you like, and when you do that you want it to be in a place you like and done by a person who knows what they are doing. If any of the above is true then perhaps you should give Vanity House a try. Great downtown location, a warm and inviting place and excellent stylists. Now as a boy with short hair my opinion on stylists may not mean much to you. But my wife also gets her hair cut and coloured here, and she has discerning taste. Well that's what I tell myself anyway. Others must think the same way because it's always busy when I go. TL/DR: hair grows-needs cutting=Vanity House.
