Charging $200 for a trial is steep especially since she worked on the makeup for 45 minutes to an hour. I might have understood if the makeup ended up being amazing but I looked horrible. The correct shade wasn't used and my skin looked dry and aged. The original invoice sent to me quoted $100 for the trial. However, she charged me $200 after seeing my displeasure with the work and told me the $100 quote was actually for a hair consultation; a clear scam on their part. I've done 3 other consultations in New Orleans and no one else charged close to $200. This was by far the most unprofessional experience I've had. I've attached photos of our original agreement, as well as before and after photos of what the makeup looked like vs. what I looked like after wiping it off. I would not recommend Faces of Virtue to any bride looking for a positive and professional experience.

She helped me with trying on the wig that I selected and explained how to maintain it. The wigs are good quality and will last a long time with proper care. A wig can transform you into someone else and even boost your self-esteem. Plus, they are great for when you are having a bad hair day. I think wigs are fun but never had the confidence to wear one aside from Halloween. That all changed when I sat in the chair and put one on. The darling associate asked if I wanted to wear it out. I said, "Why not." I received so many compliments while walking around the Quarter. I felt good about myself and my decision to "go for it!"
