We were given the contact information for John Lowry. We reached out to John via text message, and he got back to us quickly and set up an appointment to meet with us at our condo. John arrived with a large variety of samples, and he made informed recommendations about practical floor options to best update all of the rooms in our condo. During this same visit, John measured all of the rooms and helped us decide on both carpeting and hard flooring in under two hours. Written estimates were provided to us via email before the end of that same day. We were able to schedule installation within a couple of weeks. We probably could have had the installation scheduled even sooner, but we had painting that we had scheduled to complete first. We were no longer living in our condo when the installation occurred. Everyone involved with the installation easily worked with our realtor, who was on-site to grant access to the condo, and with me via telephone. We were very pleased with the final results. I'm sure that the reasonable expense of updating the floors will pay off once our condo goes on the market.

We live in a third floor condo downtown so we were thrilled to find a company that came so highly recommended and that had been able to deal with some of the complexities associated with our building. We made a call and they sent someone out to measure our floors. He was very courteous and thorough and made a map of the dimensions. He was able to do it in a way that gave us many options because we could have opted for different flooring for the halls than for the bedrooms, for example. Once he did the mapping, he told us to check out their showroom so we could choose our flooring. We went out to the showroom located in Clintonville area. When we arrived, we met a friendly lady in the showroom who explained all of our options to us. She pulled our file so that when we selected our floor, she was able to give us an estimate. She was very frank with us and I really appreciated it. She was very honest about ways that we could save money and did not push us into more expensive options. She worked with us to get us the best flooring at the best price. We made our selection and they called us about a week later to set up installation. Two gentlemen then came to our place and worked hard at putting in our new carpet. They were very efficient and moved our furniture for us for a small fee so that we didn't have to worry about it. We were super pleased with the end result. Our carpet is beautiful and plush. We will definitely use them again in the future!

Matching 17y/o cabinets was beyond easy. Custom cabinet maker or re-face everything to match. Oh No! Staff member took our phone call and found what we were looking for in a cheaper option. Still ALL WOOD! Not that particle board stuff they do not carry. We went in 2 days later and immediately shown to 3 in stock. She cut open boxes until she found one without any imperfections. Paid for it. Offered a military discount. Now we have 3 weeks for the contractor to pick it up. Ordered the roll out shelves. It's going to be a fine appliance garage. Having initially gotten a quotation from Empire, we had a bit of a sense of what to expect in the sales process. Overall, the company did install great carpet and LVP in my home and were quite quick to do so. The installers helped to confirm my LVP was being installed in the direction I wanted and worked quickly, completing the jobs in a few hours. The only reason I didn't provide a 5-star review was for the reasons below: 1) Our sales representative was fine overall, but wasn't the fastest in responding or when I inquired about potentially putting a different pattern of flooring (e.g., planks placed in herringbone), he mentioned he had seen it, but didn't really offer it as an option. 2) The installation team left quite a bit of dust/shoeprints throughout my main floor in getting to the basement. Most other contractors in my home always bring drop cloths to avoid this. 3) We had just had our other contractors complete painting of the walls the previous week and after the installation team we had quite a few marks/scratches on the walls, some spanning multiple feet. 4) When the LVP team showed up and realized they didn't have enough materials, they asked me where they should leave unfinished - I feel like I shouldn't have been involved in the process. I paid for a completely floored basement, I shouldn't be involved in picking which areas are left undone. Still, Tim, their installation manager, did reach out after I reported the issues and was very gracious and willing to either schedule teams to come out or compensate us for our trouble. While I was able to resolve the issues above myself fairly easily, so didn't take him up on his offer, the fact that the company offered it was something I very much appreciated as all contractors will eventually run into issues, but it's how they respond that really makes the difference. Overall, I would likely use America's Floor Source again when we have flooring needs.

Last year, I used RR to renovate the entire top floor of my house with higher end flooring…read moresolutions. For that project, Jon Frambes went the extra mile to make sure that I was taken care by using his leverage/experience to provide me with best discounts he could. In this context, although it was a massive project, he worked tirelessly to ensure that it was affordable and 100% in line with my specifications. As many of you likely know, vinyl products come and go; meaning, if you bought certain flooring several years ago, it is highly unlikely that it will remain available from the retailer or the manufacturer. Such was the case for me, where I'd purchased vinyl flooring from Lumber Liquidators over 4 years ago to renovate my office. I was hoping to get my hands on more of it this year to use for my large entertainment room. However, I ultimately was not successful despite pouring a ton of effort into reaching out to LL/the manufacturer. Naturally, it should come as no surprise that I consulted Jon to help me out. I brought a sample of my prior flooring into the store and worked with Jon and his team to look at several different products that could potentially match. Lo and behold, after pilot testing several different swatches, I was finally able to find one that was most similar to what I was looking for. However, it was amongst the most expensive of vinyl offerings at the store. Moreover, it was not readily available at the local warehouse, which by default makes the price even higher. Jon understood that I was in a bind, and this was the only product that would work for me. He pulled some strings to get me this wide-panel luxury flooring product at a VERY discounted price that I am 150% convinced could not be beaten by any other retailer. He helped me procure 600 sq. ft. of the product while remaining within the limits of my initial budget, despite it being a significantly higher end offering. Had I purchased it at cost, it would have been almost twice the amount I was looking to spend. Long story short, Jon is a huge asset. He will do everything in his power to take care of his customers. He values loyalty and is a fantastic resource for long term flooring solutions. You can consider it a given that I will be working with him again once we decide to work on the master bedroom!!
