She welcomed me and took a very thorough history, unlike any I've had taken from either "western style" or more alternative/complementary practitioners. My acupuncturist recommended I see Dr. Ikenze to see if she could find homeopathic remedies that would bring my blood count into the normal range. Unfortunately she turned out to be fraudulent and was not able to provide the services I requested. After accepting payment up front, she cancelled half of my sessions and refused to speak to me about the reasons why, even after several requests. Furthermore, our sessions were very poor, much worse than therapists who charged the market rate in the Bay Area of $150/hour. It did not seem she had adequate training in basic psychotherapy and hypnotherapy, and she often made outlandish claims in our sessions which made me uncomfortable.
