Could be a scam business. I deposit money for lanai screening install and there is no progress in 3 weeks from there in Cape Coral. The sale man does not even answer my text. read more

Chose this place to install a screen, but they never ever ever call back. I always have to text to find out where we are on the installation....this has been since May! read more

A long road to get everything done as we had to wait out the HOA and permitting process, but a worthwhile project nonetheless. Daniel was our sales rep and was very responsive to our requests, redesigns, and service calls. His crews were excellent in addressing concerns before, during, and after completion of our project. Any mishaps along the way were promptly addressed. We are completely happy with our lanai extension and spend nearly half of our day utilizing it. read more

I hired Fabri Tech to build a new pool enclosure for my home after the hurricane. I spoke with the salesman once and he provided me with a quote. He advised it would be installed in 8 months (which is a long time to wait) and that the new patio had to be installed prior to their company installing the enclosure. They required a 40% deposit (quite a lot of $) before they would even schedule the project. I repeatedly tried to reach the salesman via phone for an update and would only receive incremental texts telling me he didn't have an update for me. Many times I reached out to him he "didn't have phone service, because he was on a cruise or in the VI". I reached out to the office for an update and they told me I had to contact the salesman. Finally after 12 months the installers show up and complete the installation. However they left metal scraps, broken screws, screws, and debris all over my pool deck. They also stripped off the paint from many of the screw heads. My pool was cleaned the day after they left. I called the salesman and the company to ask them to have their mess cleaned up. The next week they came back and "cleaned up their mess" only for my pool man to find the metal and screws dumped into my pool for him to clean up. So they either fell from the pool cage or they were placed there. Either way not so good. There was also water damage from the lack of a gutter due to the at least four month delay in installation to my patio. I have reached out to fabri tech and they refuse any responsibility for the damage to my property and or the screws or rust spots in my new pool. I understand they have had high demand from after the hurricane, but that doesn't replace good old fashioned customer service. Fabritech replaced our pool enclosure because of Hurricane Ian. They did an excellent job. It is now a year later, and there were a couple minor repairs that were needed. Steve Gunderlach quickly had the repair work scheduled and in a couple days, Nick very professional young man) came out and did a top quality job. My career job was as a hospital administrative director and in that capacity, one of my responsibilities was working with contractors of all kinds. There are good and bad, of course. As a Lee County retiree who is not related or connected personally to anyone at Fabritech, I highly suggest that if you need a new pool enclosure, contact Steve Gunderlach at 847-946-8430. read more

Called and left messages for Sales twice- two weeks apart. Here I am three weeks later with no call back. If this difficult to get Sales- can't imagine what it would like to deal with them overall. My impression is most unfavorable and will not use them. read more

I signed a contract, paid the down payment April of 2022. December 2022 they poured the footer for the enclosure. I immediately paid their invoice. Here we are 09 March, no progress. People literally build homes in 9/10 months. It will soon be one year and I cannot get a screen enclosure. read more

Fabri-Tech Screen Enclosures - Great - Fences & Gates Near Me - Fort Myers, Florida

Signed a contract Dec 2022 for a replacement of my pool cage destroyed in Hurricane Ian. At the time of signing, my salesperson told me it would be complete in 6-8 months. After many frustrating "updates" from my salesperson that it was progressing, I filed a complaint with BBB. I immediately received a response that my pool cage would be installed at the end of the following week, 4/8/24. They arrived on my property with no call ahead or warning. I later received an email that they had misplaced the NOC. Currently, they have been out here 3 days and have not completed the installation. Apparently, some lengths were mismeasured. Installers have been very nice. That is the only positive I can say about this experience. read more

We called fabritech to repair a stabilizing cable on our lanai screen because their name was posted on the screen as the installer. A month before the hurricane they said it would take 4-6 weeks and cost $150.00. In January we called again and they flat out refused to stand behind their work and said they would not do it at all. Don't use fabritech for your screen needs! read more

I called this place today to get an estimate on a pergola shown on their website. They sent me to a sales person that was not there and told me to just leave a voicemail. I emailed and requested more information and I never received any information. The lady on the phone couldn't tell me how much the Latisse pergola was or even a rough idea whether it was $10,000 or $40,000. She couldn't even tell me what it cost per square foot. That's how you know someplace is a scam I see one even give you an idea of how much it will cost. Not happy with their customer service! read more

I am building a new home. My builder hired Fabri-Tech to install our vinyl fence. When I saw the installation I immediately knew something was way off with this company. Almost every panel wasn't level. Some of the panels were damaged. Some posts were cemented in, some were not. And while vinyl fences should have some movement, our fence had way too much sway. So I had to check out company. The first thing I noticed was that they were an aluminum company that mostly did screening. There are 156 reviews on Google and they have a 2.7 rating. Then I checked out the Better Business Bureau. D+ rating. 1.36/5 stars. 23 complaints in the last 3 years. Why on earth would anyone hire them much less my builder? I had them take the fence out. I don't care what it is, when you can see that the work done is sloppy or cheap, if there is any component of the work you cannot see, I guarantee it's even worse. Steer clear of this company neighbors! read more

Still waiting for them to provide an estimated time to complete our screen after Ian. Voice mail boxes are full and no call back, even though they have had our $10,000+ deposit for 9 months now. Our neighbors' screens were done 3 months ago, contracted the same time we did, and they are beautiful. Trying to get our deposit back. read more

Despite all the negative reviews on this company I thought I would give them a try. I signed a contract for a small cage extension with concrete also on 9/18/2020. They were quick to take a deposit, but after 4 months I still don't have a start date. I've called office and texted sales man Dave. They keep saying it Shouldn't be much longer is usually the response I get. Last week when I call they told me the permit was still not ready. But I have already talked with the city. The permit was approved over a month ago. And they still told me that there was no permit. I called again today. And they tell me that the permit is not ready yet. Them I told them again that the city approved the permit over a moth ago. Now I just have a bad feeling about putting a deposit down with this company. I do not recommend this company to anyone at this point. And keep seeing more and more people with the same problem. I think we should all contact the news and the contractor license board to file complaints. read more

Fabri-Tech recently installed my pool cage about 8 months after I contracted for one destroyed by IAN. The final product appears to be fine, but getting there was atrocious. When I signed they told me that it could be a while because the availability of material following IAN was unknown. After a neighbor contracted with another company 2 months after me and had his cage up 10 weeks later, I suspected material was not a problem so I called to determine the status of my cage. After numerous unanswered calls where I left unreturned messages, I went to the factory. There I was told "we get so many calls we are too busy to return them." They checked on my project and said it will be installed within 3 weeks. Not done; no call. I called again and the salesman returned the call 2 days later and said, "it is in production and will be installed next week." Not done: no call. Two more commitments not met followed. The following Monday morning, unannounced, they show up at the property entrance with the cage. Thankfully my wife was home and was able to authorize their entrance. This is the only company I've heard of that is "too busy" to return customer calls. Unlike them, I sent a check within 24 hours of receiving their final bill. read more

Worst company ever for customer service. Stay away. Office staff outright lie to you. If I could I'd give zero stars. Spent over 11k with them. Absolutely no support once they take your money. read more

OK I get they are TEN WEEKS out for repair work right now, but they do not provide estimates, they expect to show up, do the work, and hand you a bill for whatever they want to charge. Sorry folks, that is not the way it is done, you provide an estimate and it has materials to be used, scope of work, warranty, and price and I decide if it is acceptable to me..... read more

Had new pool cage installed by this company April 2017, supposedly the best screen fabric used, it is now January 2021, the screen has pulled away from the frames in several locations! I haven't called them, as it's been 3 years and they would undoubtedly charge me for repair. I would not recommend them. read more

Fabri-Tech just installed our new screen cage, and we couldn't be happier! It was installed two months ahead of schedule! The installers were friendly, neat and professional, and the cage is beautiful! Their price was significantly less than their competitors. They even custom built an access panel for us to enable cleaning the gutters! read more

Definitely a 5 STAR company! We had Florida Glass on our pool enclosure that needed replacing along with a few other regular screens. The person that came to give us our estimate, Donna, was fantastic! The company was great with scheduling and the 2 individuals that came out to do the work, Casey and Adam were great! Definitely masters at their craft! I would use Fabri-Tech again anytime! read more

I had a very good experience with this company. As I was not in a rush I was not disappointed with the delay in starting. Most of the delay was with the permitting process. Once started project was completed in a reasonable timeframe. There were a couple of bumps in the process but Fabri-tech was very responsive in corrections. Office was very good in communicating. Quality of final project is excellent. On site workmen were excellent. read more

Recently Fabri Tech installed new screening in lanai area. Some panels ripped away. Called for service and was given 4 to 6 week time frame. Waited 4 weeks no response. Called to determine status and was told I had to wait another 4 to 6 weeks because they had no record of first call. So I called Arrow Screen Repair to estimate repairs. They arrived on schedule and, immediately, pointed out the issues. I am a novice when it comes to screening, but when shown the issues I understood and was not at all happy. Fabri Tech install was done to expedite their work. They ran the screen from top to bottom without tucking screen in center horizontal beams. All the way around lanai. Thankfully, Arrow noticed the problem and, more importantly, the cost of repair is fair. You should also know that I was told by Fabri Tech service they are only doing warranty work not general repairs. I can only wonder why. read more

Terrible company to do business with. I ordered a new pool cage in February requesting at work be done at the end of February beginning of March due to having out of town company. At the time they said that would be great because they were about 4 weeks behind. After 4 weeks I called to see when they would be doing the install. I was given one excuse after another. Nothing was done for months. I finally told them that I was going to call to Wink News and report them. Then things started to happen. They came out and measured, about a month after that they finally came out and did to tear down and 2 days after that they finally did the rebuild on the pool cage. The crew that was here did work hard however I was not pleased with the fact that they were smoking vaping on my patio. They did not even ask permission. I was also not happy with the fact that many screws and nuts ended up in my swimming pool not to mention the screws and nuts that were all over the ground and lanai. They did not clean them up. I had to clean it up myself, as I have dogs and do not need them stepping on screws. I wish I would have taken as picture of all of the ones I picked up. Work was finally completed on May 20th. read more

This entire experience was awful. It started back in March. Now its mid-June and it is still not done properly. I hired Fabri-Tech to do my front screen porch (3x4) and my back lanai (10x20). When I went to contract with them, they came back twice and tried to raise the price by a total of just under $1,ooo. I told them I no longer wanted to work with their company and they told me they would refund me my deposit of $500. 3 weeks later and still no refund. They had done the survey with out my permission and wanted to take the charge for that out of my deposit. Not only did I not agree to the survey, they never told me I could just update the one I had done when I closed on my home less than a year before for a much lower cost. I finally got in touch with the owner of the company, who said he would waive the price for the survey and stick to the original contract price. I agreed. They never called to let me know they were coming any of the times they came out to the house to start construction. Not only that but they didn't stick to the contracted design. Who puts up a screen lanai with no screen door. On top of that - who puts up a screen lanai over Christmas lights?!?!?!?! I am now having to call them again to come for the 3 time to finish what they started. I have screws that are sticking out and portions of the frame that were not capped that are now collecting rain during our lovely weeks of torrential downpour. I will never recommend Fabri-tech and highly suggest you do your homework when hiring a screen company. read more
