We can't say enough good things about Dr. Screen and all their staff. We have had them do smaller jobs like repairing pool screens and installing a pet door, and they have always done a great job. But we recently replaced our front entryway and are thrilled with the results. Mike did all the measuring and helped with the design. I think all they want to do is sell new screens they don't want to repeat business $200 for a service call and you can't get one for six months is not acceptable when you have your garage closed. I paid over $2500 several years ago. They have them install the screen. They did a good job but their service afterwards is not existent. I'd give it zero stars if I could. read more

Thank you Dr. Screen, the original!!! Tonight my family celebrates being bug free and after experiencing the devastation of Hurricane Ian, we have a little normalcy returned to our lives. The owner and his son worked on a Saturday and Sunday. Because of their dedication to the community we have our screen enclosure back up. Not only replaced but modified and modernized. Our Screen door was damaged and they were so thoughtful instead of charging for a new door they repaired what was there, it is fully functional and completed in the same kind of workmanship as the rest of cage. This isn't our first time using Dr. Screen. They did a great job and fixed 6 screens for us today after Irma caused us to have screens replaced. They are super busy but showed up when they said they would, actually they called yesterday and moved us up so we got them done 6 days earlier than I expected. They are a tiny bit more than your local handyman but are insured, so God forbid someone falls they won't be suing you. Very happy and screens look great! No more bugs in the lanai and pool! read more

This company run away they are liars they came to give estimate and never got written estimate then I called and made appointment they came out state what were they here to do he sees so many clients told him then he states he remembers they were to replace one complete door and pvc whole area of door and replace 4 panels and one door kit they piece meal door area never gave new door replace on pvc side and then used all my old material door doesn't match doesn't close where they piece the old that has wholes and then he even asked me if I have parts from old screen company because he didn't have parts of which I told him I didn't I called 4 times day of service stating this and no one called me back then after two more attempt monday they then try to tell me they can come back but there will be a charge for estimate wasn't for all of the above another lie I question reviews anymore it is a shame companies like this are coming more and more. I didn't make this up and I am not in the wrong they are in need people that know how to do the proper way to do their job. And not to lie to clients. This is only my second time in 5 years writing a review but I felt we were treated so poorly that I wanted to share this. We made an appointment for lanai screen repairs about 3 months ago since this company was so busy. We had dealt with Mike a few times in our last house and was pleased with his promptness and workmanship. We called a few weeks ago to see if there was any chance of a sooner appointment and was told we should hold on to our March 30 time. We also called about 2 weeks ago to talk about the job and confirmed our appointment. When we called the night before to confirm it was like the receptionist had no idea who we were and told us we had no appointment scheduled..WE WAITED 3 MONTHS! It would be nice to get a people person to answer your calls, not someone who makes excuses and is not willing to go the extra mile for a returning customer. She did not return our call, the day before as she said she would. Very poor and unacceptable customer service. We have since called two other companies and have people coming within the next week for estimates and one is willing to do the job the same day if we desire. We called and received two call backs within one hour of our call. Those are now companies that I want to give my business to...not to some ill trained receptionist and a company that made me wait and really doesn't care that they held me up for three months. I had my pool cage re-screened by This company and they did an EXCELLENT job!!! When I first spoke to the owner on the phone, he is VERY knowledgable and took the time to explain my options and he wasn't pushy nor tried to over sell me anything that I didn't need. I called several re-screening companies and Dr. screen was by far the best price for the job I needed done. In some instances Dr. screen was half of what other companies were trying to charge me. The installers were just as wonderful. Very professional, knowledgable, nice and experienced at re-screening a pool cage. They left my property immaculate when they finished and my screens are perfect. I can't stress enough what an awesome experience I had with this company. Very disappointed in Dr Screen's customer service. We contacted them for an estimate and had several families in our development lined up for estimates. Joe came out, looked over each residence and worked up his estimates. Our neighbors were anxiously awaiting to see finished results at our house. It never happened. We made many calls reaching the office but never got any call backs as promised. The "special" price quoted us could not be honored since no other homeowners hired him. Understood. But since he was so negligent returning phone calls, they were all wary about hiring him. Nobody wants to hire a contractor who ignores prospective clients. Finally, two days before our "scheduled" appointment, we called again. We received a call back(!) to our voicemail from one of his office assistants telling us that, "he'd rather not do the job".
