I wasn't losing air, but wasn't about to pull it at home and get a flat in my driveway. So I was 3rd in line at Wheaton's and the service writer remembered me! As he also did tires, he came out and said "Let's pull it." He put liquid soap on the spot and pulled. The screw was less than 1/2 inch long and had not penetrated! Yay! Best possible scenario. No charge! Cudos for fast, friendly, old fashioned service!

My biggest problem was the customer service. The mechanic (whose first language was not English) had problems locating the proper jack fitting for my Tesla. Then he claimed that the tire could not be repaired. It was a simple plug fix but he wanted to either patch or replace the tire. It was only resolved when a manager became involved. Very nice lady manning the front desk but again seemed confused. Might be a one off but I probably would not recommend if other options are available.

Pierce exit 70, and later wheel bearing on driver front went out just east of Anne's Beach - Robert and helper came down from Key Largo in about an hour and replaced the hub on the side of the road. Got us back on the way to Marathon - How blessed were we to have God put Robert in our lives at such a troubled time. The next day he drove down and took my trailer back to his shop and basically rebuilt all 6 wheels, braking system, lights and and one blown out tire that also happened on the way down. Made it home safely on Wednesday and wanted to let them know how thankful we are for their spectaculare service. Not only did he basically give me a brand new functioning trailer but he also gave explicit instructions to my son on how to maintain it. It is great to meet a Christian brother along the way.

Every customer who came in was a local, which speaks highly of Charlie and his crew in my book. Also, I overheard a lot of the chatter in the garage. The mechanics were working on about three cars, two of which (mine included) posed some diagnostic problems. The conversations reflected a serious level of professionalism and a genuine interest in figuring out what was going on. On top of that, I received honest advice. My car doesn't have a long time to live and, indeed, will be unsafe to drive before long. The mechanic told me not to put much more money into the car and to have it looked at frequently for safety reasons. He also discounted the cost because the results of a diagnostic test were unclear. I was treated with professionalism and courtesy, as were the other customers who came through.

Tim has always been helpful with my questions and concerns and reminds me the best auto mechanics in all of the Florida Keys are at Price Automotive. Recently, I went in to schedule a synthetic oil change for the following week. As fortune swayed my way, they just happened to have an opening at that exact moment! Within the hour David had my car on the lift and performed his magic. I zoomed out with clean oil, a happier engine and ample time to catch my flight to the West Coast. While I should have purchased a lotto ticket; I instead decided that moving forward, I will bring all my business to Price Automotive. I appreciate Price Automotive's team, their can-do attitude, attention to detail, their kindness, patience and great service. Thank you for your gracious, precise and expedient service. That I found seems to be the trend in the Keys at auto repair facilities which I find surprising. For the 1st time ever in the Keys I needed something looked at and the 4 places I went into had a did not matter if you were there or not. This is very different from my shop in Ft. Lauderdale . They welcome new customers like old friends. Glad you are there. My shop is always slammed, yet they always take time to show their appreciation for the business. Hey, that's just my shop and not everyone is that way. So don't expect a welcome how ya doing today went you walk in. The other 3 I went to, I had to make sure they were alive. Anyways, I am glad I did not let personality stop me from going back to Vics. They did a great job for me on my Kia today ( 12/14/2023 ). I thought I had an actual issue but it turned out nothing. They could have said many things but they did not. I was at their mercy as I did not think I should drive it back to Ft. Lauderdale and take to my shop. In the end it was minor and they were very fair. Also, they were not sure if they could get to it when I brought it in and I needed to get back to Ft. Lauderdale. Not only did they get it back in the same day, but earlier then stated. If nothing else, go to Vic's for the service, maybe the welcome committee was away. Thank you all for helping me today and being fair and timely. I will give others your name if need a repair while in the area. Mason M
