I reached out to Fabiola's office for a consult after encountering a family situation that had gotten out-of-hand. When I phoned, the administrative secretary was very helpful, listened patiently to the details (which were "messy" and hard to put into words), and set up a consult. The office is located near Tempe Beach by ASU. When I walked in the practice, I felt like I had chosen wisely. This is a sharp business staffed with well-qualified and caring people. This is not some five-and-dime "shyster center" you see advertised on Valley billboards. These people are well versed in what they do, with several years' - decades - of experience...and the defining moment - for me - was when I met Fabiola. She's a straight shooter - no bull. I was upfront with her regarding my troubles. She listened to what I had to say, for over an hour - for free - before we even discussed retainers or financials. She laid out a pretty clear road map (the good, the bad and the ugly). She even gave me her personal cell number and encouraged me to call her any time, day or night. When I found out I was going to court, I retained LawCenter PLC and Fabiola assigned my case to her associate, Zofia Rawner. She was soft-spoken and cordial...but I quickly realized she was also very smart and good at making intelligent arguments based on fact, not emotion. She was perfect for me because I am often bested by my emotions...and she was excellent at diffusing those moments. The night before my court date, she talked with me for at least two hours. I needed people like those at LawCenter PLC, who were blunt and to-the-point, to guide me out of a problem that needed to be quashed. In the end, that's exactly what occurred. Lawyers are not miracle workers - sometimes it works out, sometimes not. I was satisfied with my results...and there is no way I could have gotten them without their help. LawCenter PLC never made me feel like I was just a dollar bill. They saw me at my worst and they listened to it all. I know I easily blew through my retainer, and fully expected to get billed for more...but I never was. After my case was dealt with, I returned and used LawCenter PLC to take care of some estate planning paperwork (and Fabiola gave me a great deal). They are not going to candy-coat anything and they'll knock you back into reality when you need that jolt. They cut to the chase. I appreciated that candor and focus. They did instruct me to do several things which I might have questioned (to myself) at first....however, everything that was asked of me yielded a result or information important to my case. I feel like I learned something from my experience with them; half the things they told me to do I never knew an "ordinary citizen" COULD do! If you are upfront, listen to what they say and trust in it, you'll ultimately reach the best outcome possible for whatever unpleasant situation you may find yourself in. Fabiola was very professional, and handled our bankruptcy case in such a way that eliminated the stress that we had been undergoing while attempting to to work with the creditors. Being seniors, this was not an easy decision, and she did everything she could to help us through a difficult time. While in court, we observed some people who attempted to represent themselves.
