If you're into standard bodybuilding or exercising in a "no frills" and "no BS perks" kind of gym, this is YOUR gym. Since I used to body build and compete everything here is perfect for me to get in a decent workout anytime I want. On top of that, even when there is more than a few people at this gym at certain peak hours, everyone is very respectful and literally just there to get their workout in (no BS). The owner Whitney is a well-known competitor and coach in the bodybuilding industry and her vibe is extremely friendly and kind. She was the one that gave me such a quick tour the day I walked in and obviously signed up for a monthly membership here. It's also nice to feel motivated when you're at this gym when you see present-day competitors training here.

We have been working with one trainer, Patrick, for years so when he moved here a few years back, we moved with him. As for the facility itself, it is such a relief to go to a "gym" where the staff is constantly cleaning!!! And disinfectant is readily available after your training session. Plenty of equipment for all your needs. Whether you are a novice or training for a competition, you will find the right tools to help you with your goals. Now, as it is a training gym, you have to sign up with a trainer. I would recommend talking with a few and see which one best fits your needs, budget and your schedule. Also, you may want to sit in and maybe see a few trainers at work. Again, Patrick is our guy. While he previously helped me maintain a healthy body, he has repeatedly helped me rehab from surgery and injuries. Just this year I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. After weeks of professional therapy I finally went back to work with Patrick. His sports background and muscle/bone knowledge helped him create a custom routine for me. By the time I went back to see my physical therapist I was raising by "frozen" hand and amazed my therapist at the amount of progress made in a few weeks. Yeah, pretty amazing!! There are showers for those who need to go to work after their workout and seats for waiting if you arrive early, though your trainer will probably recommend you roll out or warm up to maximize your workout. Oh, and there are a few staff trainers as well as other independent trainers you can work with. Absolutely no reason why you can't find a perfect trainer at the perfect location!

I had contacted the trainer and received no reply, and so I finally reached out and left a message for the staff at Atlas. Chris's wife reached out that night and I was very impressed that they were so quick, she gave me Chris's number and said to reach out to him to get everything figured out. I messaged Chris the next day to see how they can help, per the phone conversation the night before. I sent him all of my text messages showing the personal trainer cancelling, schedule that was supposed to happen, and amount that I paid to this trainer. He said that he would talk to his guys to see about working something out since I paid and received a quarter of the training promised. The discussion with Chris happened on January 7th, I reached back out January 22nd to check in and heard nothing. It is now January 28th and it is silent. I have not received a refund or any makeup sessions with a different trainer as discussed. I am very reasonable and willing to work things out with what they can do to help me, but I am disappointed that I received no update and no messages back on this subject. At the very minimum, I expect to receive an answer - my advice, spend your hard earned money at a gym that actually follows up, cares about clients that come to their facility, and doesn't hire people who can't be trusted.

Class times are convenient / well led & coaches as well as motivating. The core group of people we have met are nice and are super encouraging...almost like a separate family. The programming is also very good / it's challenging for both of us as we can scale appropriately since I am a veteran endurance athlete and my daughter is starting strength work and flexibility. I love F45 East Valley Premier!…read more My friends used to go to the Phoenix branch and I was jealous but it was too far from me. Thank God Heath and Erin opened East Valley Premier this year! I joined immediately even if they were not opened way back in October/November last year. I've been an active member ever since! The workouts are awesome and change everyday. The members are fun and always bring their A-game! But most importantly the coaches are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They guide you with your form and push you to do your best in every class. They know that you can do more sets or lift more weights. But they also remind you to listen to your body! Truly it is not a gym but a community. And the best one there is!
