Morgan made sure we were prepared for class and even asked about our stay in Bel Air. Next, Crystal.. her playlist is great and energetic to pump you up even when you don't want to.. she also pumps everyone in the room up by calling out names throughout the workout while you are pushing yourself to your limit! I was coming to the final weeks of finishing a Master's Thesis, work was obviously stressful, and I was started to feel overwhelmed and blue. I am moderately athletic so I'm always looking to get new style workouts in, especially with HIIT cardio. Let me tell you, if you are looking for a serious workout to push your limits - this is it. I went Monday, Wednesday, Friday for two weeks [in conjunction with a diet] and I absolutely noticed changes in my physique by the end. I lost 4lbs of fat (NOT total body weight, all fat) in two weeks (again, in conjunction with proper nutrition). Orange Theory totally brought me out of my rut and into the sunshine! One of my favorite attributes to Orange Theory is that you can make it as hard or modify according to your personal fitness level. However, the pumping music and lower lights made me feel like I was in a night club and most of the time I found myself pushing even harder. They have two showers there that you can sign-up for use after class but I noticed most people went home to shower post-workout. Studio was clean and tidy! There are motivation quotes on the wall which are fantastic mantras to repeat in your mind instead of negative self-talk. This workout is extraordinary and the coaches are amazing. If you are serious about improving your fitness and health, this is a positive investment. So much so, that we purchased a membership for our daughter's family. The Club literally has some something for all ages and physical condition. There are multiple exercise options from weights, to machines, to pools (inside & in warmer outside too!), trampolines, basketball, etc. There is also a Daycare onsite, with before and after school care, plus a Harford County School bus stops here! Bob Martindale Membership was incredibly thorough and accommodated ALL of our requests and needs. They also have ice cream and refillable water at all times. They even offer towels. The workers are always kind and helpful. The pool area is always clean and welcoming. Everyone who attends and goes to Merritt Clubs is always fun and nice. It's always a great vibe, especially in the summer. When the concession is closed, you can enjoy tremendous food options in the area. There is tons of parking and is easily accessible.

I enjoy the pool and feel so much joy going down the water slide and the lap pool, especially before noon. The adult swim time is an awesome 15 minutes at the top of every hour. At first I thought it was unnecessary, but it's great and much needed, because the pool is overwhelmed with kiddos mostly without direct adult supervision. They're splash and cannonball happy which has led to a wet book and a splashed kindle lol. They're young and don't know but adults should. The pool is also full of day campers after 12:15 this summer. I've found quiet (surprisingly) near the kiddie (under 4) area and me and my books are splash free sitting on the edge of the pool near the water slides.
