House was built back in 2002 and the original roof was showing signs of the wear and tear our environment causes. Dillen came by to do a quote. Super nice guy! We talked about the process and he got up on the roof and did his inspection. He shared the results with me, showed me the things that needed minor repair, and what we should expect out of this treatment. Price was just about what we expected so no surprise there. Got in the schedule really quickly. Daniel called me the morning of service, told me he'd be there within 30 minutes. Arrived as expected. He too was a really personable guy. They got started. Once that was obtained it was only a matter of days before a date was set to begin the re-roofing process. I was told it would take three days teardown to completion. The crew came promptly at 7:00am each day and left before 4:00pm, all trash from the days work cleared. If you didn't see the progress on the roof you wouldn't know there was construction going on. They cleaned up every day. Despite Mr. Curran's claims, he was invited to give his evaluation, but refused to do so. It's also plain to see (in contrast to his claim) that I re-iterated to him that I had planned to be there during his scheduled time. That much is right here in the text string in writing. I can appreciate, sir, that you may be a good person. At least that is your own self evaluation and I'm fine with that. You might just not be such a good business person, or perhaps you were having a bad day and you're now having a tough time coming to terms with that....

I've been ripped off repeatedly over the years, including work in the roof which I thought was being properly done . But they were very responsive, came out same day to give me an estimate. They kept me informed as we repeatedly had to push the date back due to snow and rain. But finally they were able to do the job, and in just two days. And that included replacing the ceiling in one room which had caved in due to damage created from an ice dam. John and Cindy are very professional, responsive and I could tell they loved what they do and were committed to doing the best possible job for me. I definitely recommend John for your mobile home repair or roofing needs.

They were polite and informative but unfortunately were not able to come to terms with my insurance adjuster due to a lack of sufficient information requested by the insurance company. Contacted another company through Yelp and do have an agreement. Just a heads up, their quote was right on target with my insurance company where Mills Roofing was significantly higher.

The bidding…read moreprocess was very thorough, consisting of photos, roofing 101 education on materials and process, an inspection and a detailed proposal. All great to that point! Unfortunately, their bid was a full $15,000-20,000 higher than literally any other bid I received (BEFORE any additional labor charges) which is honestly, complete insanity. The other 5 companies I got bids from were respected, highly reviewed business also -- it's not like I'm comparing Mills to unlicensed, under the table deals. And I'm just a normal residential homeowner, ~1400sqft of roof, not even like a giant industrial complex! For that reason alone Mills was immediately out of the running. I'm sure they do great work based on these reviews, but you'll certainly pay for it.
