SO...several 'one star' reviews...SHOCKER. Let me add to it - unprofessional - not accountable - not integral. Those are just a few of my thoughts of what used to be called Community Management Advisors, Inc. I think this may be their 3rd name change. Anyhow, Hunting Ridge resident here. Last year, summer 2021, a woman named Erin Baska purchased the condo next to me. Prior to her there lived two different tenants - also renters, who were GREAT neighbors. But no so much with this one. A fellow neighbor told me to 'watch out for that one, she seems like trouble.' Oddly enough, shortly after she moved in, my landlord texts me and tells me that someone called her 'anonymously' to report the smell of weed coming from my apartment, and that the caller said 'if they smell it again, they're gonna call the police!!!' Lol. That's funny cuz I don't smoke. I had laundry items thrown out because of Erin lying. I call the cleaning personnel after getting the info; 10 seconds into my explanation the 'cleaning' person says, 'oh yes, that stuff was thrown out, tenants were complaining'...I'm sorry you said what now? You THREW MY THINGS AWAY??!? As soon as he said that, I knew what happened. She paid attention to the fact that I'm the only one who takes their laundry items using a garbage bag and not a basket or hamper or cart like most others use. It's easier on me physically until I get a rolling cart. The 'cleaning' person comes every other Wednesday. It happened to be THE Wednesday he was here that this happened - I believe the things in one or both of the washers was Erin's and when she went to tend to her things, she saw my bag on the table - and went to the cleaning guy, I believe along with another busybody in the building here - and told him that my things 'had been there for weeks' - and even more incredulously, his response was to just throw them out. WHO.DOES.THAT.???? The property management did everything they could not to accept responsibility, and after I sued them and their 'cleaning' guy, then they all of a sudden wanted to do everything by the book. THEN they wanted to run and tell my landlord every little thing. In addition to being extremely vindictive and apparently to others - a very convincing liar - Erin is also a very rude and inconsiderate neighbor - her young son runs up and down the stairs and sounds like a herd of elephants, and her door slams a lot. Notes were put up in the hallway early on because she can't seem to understand that she's in a communal setting and not in a single family house. But she believes that she can do what SHE wants without consequence, but that no one can do anything to HER. She's mistaken of course, but she tried it. She may have friends or some sort of connection at the management company, I don't know. But that means nothing to me. Without knowing me or even having had a single interaction with me, she tries to bring trouble my way right after moving in, by anonymously calling my landlord with some mess - wow really? After the laundry incident, the property management did NOTHING. I would have completely settled for even an apology that my things were thrown out and a strategy put in place to make sure that their 'cleaning' personnel doesn't ever again just pick up someone's things and throw them away like GARBAGE based on someone just saying that, but no - I didn't even get THAT. Instead they went on making excuses and sent a letter to my landlord - well, I guess they meant to - the envelope had my landlords' names on it, but had MY address - my landlords OWN the place they don't LIVE here - but hey, what is competence?? So in the letter, they highlighted a sentence from one of the emails I'd sent them, saying it was 'threatening' - it wasn't threatening, it said I needed their cleaning company's address as they would be named in a complaint along with the property management - how is this a threat? Lol. That's not a threat, it was a statement of fact. Yea they didn't like being sued so they started running to my landlord about everything. Once, after knocking on Erin's door once because I was so sick of hearing her slamming door (first time I'd ever knocked on anyone's door for this reason), with the intent to ask that they please be more courteous - what does she do? Well she must've run to property management and 'told on me' because the next day I get a text from my landlord about it! And landlord told me that the company told HER that if I knock on someone's door again, they're gonna charge me a fine! A FINE. Someone lied which resulted in my belongings being THROWN OUT but for knocking on someone's door, they're gonna CHARGE ME??? Ok. Yea so pretty ridiculous, and no, I'm not worried about that and NEVER will I allow anyone to roll over me and that includes my neighbor. Having someone from the property management in her back pocket will not help her if she tries anything else. Terrible property management company. read more
