I recently bought a car from a private dealer and not knowing much about cars I asked around for a good mechanic and was referred to Frank at F&M. I'm very happy I brought my new car here!! Frank did a complete evaluation of my car, literally checked every single inch of my car. The cost was $85 which I thought was very reasonable. Frank suggested a brake fluid flush and a tuneup from the inspection. I took my car in on a Monday and it was done the same day. My car go now!!! I am so pleased with the overall service that I received from F&M auto repair. Maria and Frank are both very professional, courteous and polite. I never felt like I was overpaying for any of the services I received or being being taken advantage of because I don't know much about cars. Honest, experienced, detailed mechanic found! Frank is a great guy and an even better mechanic that obviously takes great pride in his work. He and Maria really took great care of us and saved the day when we had a car emergency with our Landrover on a late July afternoon. This was a tough electrical problem that other mechanics in town wouldn't touch. We found F&M Auto Repair and never looked back. Despite being busy and near closing time, Frank was patient, communicative, knowledgeable, and able to pull a miracle and get us back on the road quickly (and was more than fair with the price). The car has been running perfectly since. I wish we lived closer, as we would gladly trust all of our family car servicing and repairs to F&M. Took my vehicle in to get seen since it was making a rattling sounds and needed alignment, had to take it back since the alignment was still not fixed the owner frank did the work but I didn't bother taking it back for the 3rd time as of now my vehicle is still making rattling sound and my alignment still pulls to the side especially in the freeway. Don't bother taking your vehicle in for alignment they don't have the equipment to make sure it's Aligned correctly. read more

Took my car there to have him diagnosis the car and he did and told me it was an engine that the engine needed replacement he was being super disrespectful and pushy when asking questions about the diagnosis, took to get a second opinion and was told the lifters and cam were bad replaced both and car runs great . I don't know why he was being so pushy if he didn't want to do the work then he should of said . There was zero professionalism with him his wife was very apologetic. This is my favorite go to auto repair shop. Frank and Maria helped me so much with my new used car I bought and knew nothing about. I took my car to a place in Salinas but they ripped me off and didn't repair my exhaust manifold ... I 100% recommend going to F&M auto repair for any car needs!!
