They allowed me to partially pay in a kilo bar of .999 silver. A couple of weeks later, I went to pick the new ring up. The wife loved it. It was truly spectacular. I have been back. This time to make rings, earrings, etc. out of loose gemstones, I purchased elsewhere. Specifically, 2 solitaire diamonds, 2 sapphires, 2 garnets and a pair of amethyst earrings.
