A family member and I stopped in here a couple of months ago to look at golf clubs. Although we were specifically looking for clubs on this visit, but browsed other items as well. This store is an absolute disaster. Merchandise is thrown on shelves, some inventory looks like it's been there since 1988 (think of those big Chinese wall art fans, VCRs, old stereo systems), the floor of the shop even has stuff sitting on it and the place is just dirty. I get it. It's hard to keep a place like this clean and tidy because it's just so dang busy. But come on--stuff just thrown on shelves? On the floor? There were three employees working behind the counter on the day we visited, so surely someone could have straightened things up. Everything we looked at was horribly overpriced. Again, come on! It's used! I get that customers are trying to pawn 99% of what's in there, but no sane person is going to spend $200 on an old and outdated sewing machine, are they? i'm honestly surprised some of what's for sale in there can even be pawned. Do they accept everything that comes in? It sure looks like it. If you are looking for a bike, snowblower, a particular tool, etc., this place may be worth a visit. They are in the big business of loaning money with super high interest rates attached and that's obviously their #1 priority. It is was it is.

It's more, they have an awesome layaway plan for broke individuals like me, 10% down, I think, then a very comfortable payment plan each month. It's now Christmas in July for $1 down and payments until December!!! That's not all, they installed a Wheel of Discounts that you can spin once every visit towards that days purchase! (Limited on certain items for the discount) You don't even have to pick the merchandise out prior to spinning. $150 discount limit per spin. I have purchased a 12 string guitar and brought it back the same day, and they let me trade for another that was less hard to play. I brought it back for another store credit and they didn't get irritated at me at all, cuz I can be irritating. The boss lady just smiled, treated me like family. I now have $240 store credit and kinda gonna let it ride for now. No, they don't pay you interest, on your store credit balance. They aren't made of money, but they do know how to run this very successful business.
