Then the trail suddenly becomes a disc golf course. Now the disc golf course seemed really nice, but I wouldn't recommend hiking a disc golf course. You're just in the way if people are playing. There's a nice lake later in the course. Overall, I'd recommend it for disc golf or maybe just to hang out at, but I wouldn't recommend walking through the disc golf course like AllTrails recommends.

They have a bunch of really nice pieces I have never seen before. The playground is also huge. There is so many different areas to choose from. The only bad part is one piece of equipment isn't safe. My nephew decided to play incorrectly on the 4 person see saw piece and his foot got scraped up pretty bad. Make sure that your kids don't try to ride/sit/stand on the middle piece of the see saw. There were two groups grilling out at two different shelters close to the playground. They both surrounded the playground. The one thing that impressed me the most was how clean the restroom was. The restroom is super close to the playground too which is very convenient. This park is kinda far from me but I will definitely make the trip out here for the nibblings. There are two playgrounds that are completely different from each other. One is a "Panther's Training Center" theme and the other is a more traditional playground with a toddler and 5-12 play area. super lost. literally rn. me and my friend went on a 30 minute run. it has become a hour and 30…read moreminute run because we are completely lost. they dont have a trail map, they dont have a map on apple maps or google maps, they dont have a number to call or a park ranger to contact. what if one of us got severely hurt while lost how would we get help? this is actually ridiculous. and when i did call the number they have listed its just to make appointments. i said F it and tried to talk to someone atleast. when i mentioned talking to a park ranger they gave me a attitude and said "we dont give out park rangers numbers" and the proceeds to give me the number to call, which was the same number i had just called. so thanks. i really appreciate the help. we have been lost for a hour, dehydrated and exhausted. its cool tho we men, we will figure it out thanks to no body.

There's plenty of parking and the park is set back a bit from the main road which means that there's a little bit less concern about traffic and noise. Behind the park is a beautiful waterfall. The photographer was able to use 6 different backgrounds, including the waterfall. Other couples were taking pictures there as well but when we first came it was just two. When we left it was about 7. Plenty of space though that everyone was still able to get great shots. It's on a very busy corner but faces Kings Dr. Free parking in the metropolitan garage, easy walk regardless of the construction that gets in the way. Across the street there's parking but also towing signs. Lots of people were taking a chance though. Caddy corner from the park is a shopping plaza with a few restaurants, stores etc. After we finished with the pictures I enjoyed shopping in Marshalls in the garage.

It's a very small park and it's mostly an open grassy area with minimal trees/shade. Luckily, there are some trees that provide shade around the perimeter of the park and there's small tables set up with chairs. This park was a little crowded for my normal preferences, but we were able to get a table closer to the greenway which was further away from most people who were along the Kings Drive section of the park. The best time to visit this park is for the Kings Drive Art Walk in the spring.

Every three weeks after her treatments we go for a short walk around the park since it's right across the street. Today, we received some devastating news about her cancer and so after her appointment we went to the park to have a moment with her before driving back to Greensboro. We were kicked out. We've never seen any signs nor has anyone ever approached us about no dogs being allowed. We've seen many other people with their little dogs as well. It felt like a punch in the gut. A place we went for solace just added to our pain.

They are constantly blaring music above appropriate decibel levels. Sometimes before 8am on a Saturday and passed 9pm on weekdays. To the point the noise rattles our homes and blares through the walls. I moved to this area thinking it would be quiet and peaceful, it has been anything but. I reached out to Eunice Donnelly the park and Rec "director" and she did nothing to resolve the matter. She kept directing me to their website for events which half the events they've run this summer aren't even posted on the website! The park is great, the directors and management team are terrible however. She should be removed. They need a true lesson in organization and also respect- the golden rule. They don't care about our community and that is clear now.

The walkway is amazing. That is like an amazing walking park for you and your dog.
