I couldn't have made a better choice than Erin Nicole Photo …read more I came across Erin's work as I was looking for a photographer that had a moodier vibe , which is more difficult to find in the Reno/Tahoe area than I initially realized . She branded herself beautifully + what caught my attention was the fact that she seemed to favor the raw + unconventional moments more than the standard wedding photos you see . We decided to hire Erin for our engagement party, to see what she really has to offer + how she is to work with as she was newer to the professional photography business. Erin is not only one of the sweetest vendors I've ever encountered but she is very attentive of what you want + are looking for out of her pictures . Our engagement party AND our intimate engagement pictures turned out better than I was ever hoping , which was exciting because she has an incredible amount of potential + we got to be a part of her success + growth to the top ! Being an artist myself , I always want to give the people I hire creative freedom + guide them only with inspiration rather than specifics. Erin is very good at feeling out your style + delivering incredibly special photos that you could have only dreamed of . I couldn't wait to work with her for our wedding day - Our wedding took place in an industrial style venue + later at night (6pm) so I was interested to see how Erin would handle it being that it is slightly off-brand for her.. she did phenomenally in our opinion . However , something even more phenomenal about Erin is; if she isn't completely satisfied or feels that there wasn't enough time for the absolute best of her work , she will reach out to you for a post-wedding session and dedicate an entire day to get THE absolute best shots she can . We did this , as our wedding coordinator rushed erin during our intimate photos + this post-wedding session turned out to be such a beautiful experience for my husband + I . We had time to really be our raw , authentic selves + it really shows through in her pictures ! I also was happy to see Erin enjoy this process as much as we did + have her do something a little out of her comfort zone + see her absolutely kill it . I couldn't have asked for a better photographer + Erin will always be our go-to for any of our photography needs . -Thank you Erin. You made our most important day that much more special + we will get to cherish it for the rest of our lives thanks to you + your incredible work .

I don't even know where to begin with this review, but Sierra Nevada Photography is the place to…read morego, especially for boudoir photos. I won a boudoir package from Sierra (owner and photographer of Sierra Nevada Photography) in June and did it in July. I was so nervous and didn't know what to expect, but Sierra answered all my questions to ease the nerves. The day I went was actually a really dark day for me, but those photos showed a different side of myself I have never seen and really wanted to embrace. I didn't bring a lot of clothes and I was stiff and still nervous, but Sierra was nice and I ended up being comfortable enough. In August, I purchase a mini session with Sierra and her partner in crime, Cass (she does modeling and they own their studio together). I was more comfortable this round and brought more clothing options and really stepped out of my comfort zone. I talked more while I got my hair and makeup done (that was included in the first shoot too), and was really open to posing and what Sierra and Cass wanted to do. It was a lot easier the second go around because I knew what to expect. Sierra knows what she's doing, but is always open to ideas and different poses. Cass was fun to hang out with too! I love all the photos that were taken and Sierra does amazing editing. Each session portrays myself and how I felt in that time and they're amazing. I plan to go back to Sierra at some point in 2021. I definitely want to do a Spooky boudoir in October, but will look into one earlier in the year. Go to Sierra, it'll be amazing! She had an Instagram as well: sierranvphotography

I submitted a request directly through her website and Alexa responded very quickly with all the information I needed to know I chose the right person. She included upfront session details, prices, and her upcoming availability. A couple quick emails back and forth and we were booked for a maternity/newborn package for the upcoming arrival of our 2nd daughter. Alexa was great to work with and super flexible on dates. We needed to reschedule our early November maternity/family session due to weather and our newborn session also needed to be moved since our daughter arrived early. We booked a lifestyle session for our newborn pictures in our home and I decided last minute that I also wanted to do a session at her studio which she gladly accommodated the next day! Our sessions were the week before Christmas so I was incredibly impressed at how flexible and accommodating she was! During the actual shoots, Alexa was calm, friendly and patient as we tried to get our rambunctious 2-year old to cooperate. I'm so grateful for how helpful and professional she was during the whole process. She had great posing suggestions and the pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. For all 3 sessions, we received our pictures within a couple weeks of the shoot. We even did our 2 newborn sessions right before Christmas and she sent our pictures before New Years Eve even though one of these was also a last minute add on!! I will definitely be using Alexa again!
