My experience with Daniel was phenomenal from the very beginning. I'm that last minute mom where I try to plan a family portrait a week out from my trip to Tahoe in hopes that an amazing photographer would be available. If you want a quality family photographer, Daniel is your person! He's a one man show that is not only extremely talented, kind, personable and professional. I was looking to have family photos done and he's one of the only photographers that responded to my emails in a timely manner. He was very easy to communicate through email and I put down a small deposit. The days leading up, he was awesome to solidify the date, time and location which was sent by gps coordinate. The day of photos, he was friendly and had wonderful instructions for the husband and I on posing so that the pictures would turn out. We also had our 80lb golden doodle and he was so sweet with him. We did two changes of clothes and he said in two days, I'd have some pictures to look forward to through the online customer portal. The early pictures he sent were awesome! Daniel was great to work with! He was the best, like actually (wife's words). Lindsey and I got engaged last December and decided Tahoe would be a good spot to get married. We reached out to Daniel and set up a meeting with him. He was so kind and helpful with the process of picking out a photographer. We didn't call anyone else because we knew we wanted to work with him right after that phone call. We decided to take our engagement photos on the North side of the Lake in March. Daniel sent us some places that would be good for the photoshoot. We met him at one of the locations around 6pm. There was a bit of a windchill and it was going to snow that night. Daniel showed up with hot chocolate and hand warmers for us. The lighting was great and the photos were fabulous. Come June, we were excited to get the party started! Daniel helped us create a photo list of people we wanted pictures with. The day of the wedding, we took our pictures in a meadow just down from Kings Beach. He was very kind when we had a slight hiccup when one of our family members fell ill during the photo shoot. Our ceremony was held at Gar Woods on the grass with the lake as the backdrop. Daniel captured our moment perfectly. During the reception, everyone let their hair down and he did a great job of capturing everyone getting down on the dance floor. We did a group photo with everyone who attended. During dinner, he gave us a sneak peak of a couple of our photos. We went outside to capture some more of us with the lake and evening twilight.
