Booking and payment were super easy online, and communication was excellent the whole way through. We told him we got married 25 years ago on a beach somewhere on the Nevada side of South Lake Tahoe (the exact spot is still a mystery!), and when he suggested Zephyr Cove Resort Beach, we knew he was our guy. I'll admit I was more nervous than my husband, but Daniel immediately made us feel comfortable. He's easy to talk to, fun, and knows exactly how to guide you through natural poses without anything feeling fake. We were laughing (actual laughing tears!) the entire time. We had the best time. We just got our proofs back, and I am beyond thrilled. His work is beautiful!! We started at 5pm and he got all the best of the area! Unreal!! Alex and Wendy have got two completely different personalities she is from England so it is just hilarious to interact with her because of the different cultures. They know how to bounce ideas off of each other to make the pictures perfect. When I got my photography session I was so very nervous but they have a way of just putting you at ease that within a few minutes you are just having a ball! They do not force you into poses that are not natural which is a huge bonus in my opinion and they learn how to get the best end results even if it's kind of unconventional. For example me I apparently would do a little duck face not realizing it and then I would giggle or I would smile that is the picture that Alex wanted to capture and I had no clue until I saw the pictures in the end and was just amazed. Calvin and I tried to sort out a different photography event the months / years after. The timeline didn't workout and eventually I realized it wouldn't happen due to our conflicting schedules. I've reached out several times via text, email, and phone calls and l've been ignored. It's frustrating to have a thousand dollar deposit disappear due to circumstances out of both of our control. He did no work and just keeps a grand from us? Seems unfair. His photography is beautiful and I was excited for his work.
