It all started with my car having an engine light on and not idling properly at stoplights. After paying $548.00 to Pepboys, my car wouldn't even start having been billed for FULL Diagnostics and TWO Tune UPS! They had completely misdiagnosed the problem and even if battery was changed the car was not functioning at its full capacity. It turned out the Alternator needed replacement. Well, I demanded they replaced but I refused to pay for their mistake. I filed a formal complaint with the Manager then a downloaded a complaint form from Bureau of Auto Repair. I was assigned a case no. and a Representative who, thankfully, was a very competent Professional who followed through each time I followed up. It took approximately less than a month but I was able to get refunded the cost of the alternator replacement which I had done with another repair shop. I called International Affairs, then that Department referred me to an officer Sargent Tweet, I explained to Sargent Tweet my issue. Sargent Tweet spoke to Officer Alfanso. Discrimination towards me. During the accident I asked the other party for active insurance card. He could not provide an active insurance card. When I spoke to Sargent Tweet about not having an active insurance card, if they are cited on the spot? Sargent Tweet said that it would be up to the present CHP officer. I then called the DMV and asked if it is against the law not having an active insurance card? DMV said under California law, it is against the law. How corrupt can the Rancho Cordova, CHP be? Be aware of this office. Don't let them push you around. If perhaps you have an issue contact Internal Affairs, CHP. Also put your phone on record when speaking to them. What an awful experience.

1/23/2025: DMV Clerk refused taking my DMV document at the Placerville DMV--she informed me I must…read moreSNAIL MAIL the DMV Document to DMV OFFICE, i.e., DMV CLERK wouldn't PHYSICALLY TAKE the DMV Document from me--so lame!!!! As a result of the DMV's Peter Principle, INEPT Rules/Regulations, I had no choice but, snail mail the DMV Document at the Rancho Cordova CA US Post Office location!!!! In addition, the Post Office Clerk informed me it's best registering the DMV Document letter just in case, the DMV fails returning the correspondence. Such instances Motorists sending DMV Documents: The Post Office Clerk has experienced too many customers being subjected to the DMV losing their DMV Documents!!!! Therefore, I'm grateful the Post Office Clerk has my back via proving my DMV Document will be guaranteed being received rather than "purposefully lost!" OY-EVAY!!!!
