Best best is to go onto the shop. If you are HARDCORE into mountain biking this is your local spot for Service & high end parts, Onestar had a LOT. Somehow they have parts you can't even get online and at a better price. Shop itself: It's a very small shop and there are party everywhere in kind of an organized disarray lol I just bought parts so I'm only reviewing this aspect. Parts: I was told he had a Carbon Revel Rascal Frame. He actually had a few! I asked about the frame (He was very knowledgeable) I needed a BB, sram cassette and a sram chain. I had to ask because it would have taken me a week to find the parts myself. But he got everything together and he gave me a really fair price. Since I own a…read more2015 Chevy Malibu LTZ Turbo, I thought how cool would it be to take a few pics of my car in front of the plant where he was assembled. I got there took a couple pics and was happy. Then I remembered the door jamb decal that shows that the car was proudly assembled there was falling off, so I took a chance to see if I could get one. I walked into the guest lobby and I was greeted by a security person named Ro Shawn she was very nice in trying to help, so she took my info and said that she would call me once she found out if it was possible to get the decal. About 15 minutes later she called saying that she had gotten a decal for me, I went right back. At this point I met Dan, he's the person that got the decal. As we talked I asked if they give tours he said yes, and in fact a group he was supposed to give a tour to canceled so he asked if I had time, and that he would give me a tour, I said YES!!! He gave me a guided tour from beginning to end of how the cars are built. Impressive doesn't even come close to describe it. Dan would introduce me to workers here and there and tell them about my 5400 mile adventure and my car. They all were so nice and they all would say, "thank you for buying our car". You can just see that all the workers take a lot of pride in their work. I got lucky getting the tour because the tours must be setup before hand. I've been to several locations in different states and have a good idea what to expect. Lees Summit location is easy to get to and I can typically park up front to unload/load a bicycle. The employees are nice and if it's not fixed the 1st time, they'll do it again to make sure the customer is happy. The inventory was adequate for a smaller location like theirs with different sizes per product line to fit the rider based on their size. They had a good amount of helmets, clothing, water bottles, maintenance tools, and accessories too. Service was good and they're not overly packing their schedule where they'll miss promised deadlines to fix up a bike.

I went in specifically looking for a U-lock for my commuter bike, and they had lots of options all priced as good as you'd find online. The staff was helpful but not intrusive as I wandered around trying to get my bearings. One reason I'm not quite at five stars is that it's still so new to me; I haven't had them work on any of my bikes, bought any big ticket items, etc. I lightly perused the bike selection which is pretty good, at least for right now in these weird supply-chain times. There's a big parking lot out front (rare for midtown) and it's easy to get to from the Plaza/Brookside/Westport. Recommend giving them a go and looking forward to updating this down the road after a few more visits!
