He was very prepared for our appointment as he had tons of questions to ask me about the ring and diamond that I wanted so he could come with only the best diamonds. When I did arrive at his office, his admin staff was very kind and welcoming! Oshri sat down with me and didn't go into anything yet, without fully educating me on everything that goes into a diamond purchase. He took his valuable time to walk me through GIA certifications, diamond cuts, clarity, color and carat weight, along with other points of knowledge. He presented three fantastic options and even better value/price point and we ultimately landed on something that I knew in my gut, I just couldn't beat. I fell in love with the option! He was also patient with me and answered all of my questions for me. I'll be proposing to my girlfriend soon and I look forward to following up on this post with the results! I decided to utilize a watch repair service close by called Bella Jewelry and met with someone who introduced himself as Gabriel the owner. He advised that he could do the job and watch would be ready the following week. He never called on the agreed date of completion and when I did he advised that the watch wasn't ready. 1 week turned into 3 and the excuses/lies became more elaborate. I kept on calling. He finally told me that the watch was ready. When I got there the watch was damaged. The dial was broken and there were scratches that was never there before. He insisted on payment and refused to give me the watch. He also advised that he couldn't polish the watch because the rhodium he would need to use cost $10,000! Gabriel is extremely dishonest and rude and racist. He had polished someone else's watch for free while I waited. I'm black. The other patron was white! Doesn't seem to see very well either due to aging. He also refused to give me a receipt and tried to charge me more than the originally agreed upon price. Brought my watch to another jeweler who confirmed what I already knew. He damaged my watch and lied to me about the work he had done. Gabriel also made it clear that he had sued Yelp for publishing bad reviews...and won! I don't know if there's any truth to his statement but my main reason for using Yelp is because you cannot pay to alter honest reviews. At least...so I thought. An honest review is just that...and should never be altered or interfered with to please someone else. Nobody's experience is the same. I wouldn't advise anyone to waste their time or money on this business. It's truly not worth the aggravation. It's sad that someone that age could be so deceitful, dishonest and downright nasty. I've alerted everyone I know personally and professionally about this man and his business. Now it's time to alert the rest of the world.

King Lion Jewelers is located inside of Unique formally known as Gertz Plaza Mall…read more I wanted to pierce my girl's ears. My mom was telling me about a place she found inside of the mall and said that the cost to do the piercing was very inexpensive. I was intrigued, because I've only ever went to get my other daughter's ear pierced by a nurse and that was about 5X the amount this place wanted. I never went to check it out though. It took some time for me to actually pay this spot a visit, because I didn't know how my girls were going to react to getting a hole in their little ear lobes. So I waited. 4 months shy of a year to be exact. During the course of this time, they began to ask me for earrings. So with all the options around me, I decided to finally pay this place a visit. I was a bit skeptical at first, because there were no written reviews for this establishment. I only went there based solely on my mother's recommendation. When I got here, my skepticism was still present. I wasn't quite sure if they did in fact do ear piercings. It looked like your typical run of the mill jewelry store. It's in the basement of the mall, which didn't quite pique my fancy and honestly I was going to change my mind, but I went ahead with my decision. I was met by George. I asked him if they pierced children's ears and he said yes. He was very good with my girls and helped to make them feel as comfortable as possible. He first cleaned the ear lobes and then marked their ears and didn't proceed any further until I approved of the placements. Once I was satisfied with his markings, he then went to get the ear gun and the earrings, which were packaged inside of a sterile plastic container. He allowed them to pick the ones they wanted, but of course mama made the executive decision and they liked my choice. When he did the actual piercing, they reacted much better than I thought, but ended up shedding some tears. It made me want to cry for them, I mean what mother does this to their children?? I was really questioning myself on this lol. George was very patient and waited until they calmed down before piercing the second lobe. After it was done, I purchased some diamond studded earrings for them to wear once the piercings healed. He gave me a 50% discount and an additional 10% off because I bought more. I really appreciated that, because who doesn't love to save money. Shoots, if he gave it to me for free or close to it, that would've made me happier. He made the experience a memorable one for me, so that I could share it with my girls once they get a bit older and can no longer remember the day that their mommy took them to get their ears pierced.
