I had a very disappointing experience with this driving school in Baltimore. Unfortunately, they…read moredid not provide any meaningful instruction on actual driving skills. Students are told they must find someone else to teach them in order to log their driving hours, which defeats the purpose of enrolling in a driving school. Key foundational skills--such as parking, completing a three-point turn, lane changes, and backing up--were not taught at all. It felt like the instructors were completely disengaged from the learning process. In my opinion, this program does not deliver the value it promises and ended up being a poor investment of time and money. I would not recommend it based on my experience.

Even if you passed and paid them they will destroy your records and refuse to send your papers over to MVA just so they can cause you to continue to come back to them. She is very rude. Even wit y receipts as proof fuse she signed her initials would say i have no proof you took my class and would refuse to find the sign in sheets. She fired the old classroom instructor for the class I was in. which could be the reason why she destroyed the students record of attending class. However the older white guy who is the driving instructor is ok. and that's who the 1 star is for. otherwise the driving school is a zero and should be reported to the BBB and MVA.

I wanted to share my experience with iDrive Driving School regarding my son's lessons…read more His first session was a very positive experience. The instructor, Coach Michael, was calm, patient, and supportive, which really helped build my son's confidence behind the wheel. We continued practicing at home and were making great progress toward completing his required driving hours. Unfortunately, the last two lessons were a completely different experience. The instructor, Toya Phillips, was assigned for both sessions, and her approach was extremely concerning. My son shared that she was impatient, raised her voice, and was overly critical rather than supportive. During one lesson, while practicing parking, she became frustrated when he didn't perform the maneuver correctly and spoke to him in a harsh and discouraging way. As a result, his confidence has significantly declined, and he is now experiencing anxiety behind the wheel and does not feel ready to take his driver's test. I was also very troubled to hear that she told my son another student had become so upset during a lesson that they got out of the car and refused to continue. That alone raises serious concerns about her professionalism and teaching style. In addition, my son has ADHD, which was disclosed at the time of enrollment. This makes patience and clear, supportive instruction even more important--unfortunately, that was not our experience. I attempted to contact the school on two separate days and left messages but did not receive a response. Had there been communication and a resolution offered, I would have preferred to handle this privately rather than leave a public review. As I prepared to write this, I also noticed that Toya Phillips has been mentioned in other negative reviews, which suggests this may not be an isolated issue. At this point, I am requesting two additional driving sessions with Coach Michael, as he was professional, patient, and truly made a positive impact on my son's learning experience. Driving instruction requires patience, professionalism, and the ability to build confidence in new drivers. Based on our experience, I do not believe Toya Phillips should be working in this role.

Unfortunately, my experience with the behind-the-wheel lessons was extremely disappointing. Because of limited slot availability, I had to take lessons with two different instructors. During my second lesson, instructor Nadeem Qureshi focused more on questioning my prior experience than actually teaching me. I explained that, since I am over 25, I had already completed the MVA-recommended practice hours, along with some previous driving experience in my home country. Even so, a large part of the lesson was wasted before I was finally allowed to drive. Throughout the lesson, he repeatedly told me I needed more practice and suggested I book private lessons with him. After that class, he even told the receptionist that I should not continue without private lessons first. I declined and kept my final scheduled lesson. In the last lesson, it felt like he had already decided not to recommend me for the MVA test. I was marked as failed and pressured to pay for an additional private lesson costing $85. I also found some of his remarks disrespectful and inappropriate. I later complained to Mr. Husain, but I did not feel my concern was properly addressed. I was told I failed because I did not do enough head checks before lane changes. A driving school should guide students, correct mistakes professionally, and help them improve. My experience felt more like pressure to purchase extra lessons than genuine instruction. Because of this, I cannot recommend iDrive based on my behind-the-wheel experience.

Do we have to enter a star? They don't deserve one…read more This past year, our high school added a second driving school option. I'm not surprised and I wish I had waited until there was this second choice. This school has the absolute worst record keeping method. It apparently files students by the LAST driving lesson. Yes, instead of filling by last name, birthdate, school, address, things that rarely change over two years, they file by the ONE thing that does change!! When my daughter went to take her driving test, her certificate was NOT on file despite the fact it's been over six months since her last road lesson. When I called, the woman admonished me for not remembering the date of the last road lesson. Then she asked if I was sure my child took lessons with the school. Trust me, I wish she hadn't. The sheer incompetence of the administration coupled with their rudeness screams DO NOT USE THIS DRIVING SCHOOL.

So, I'm in the process of…read morerectifying that little mistake, and I chose Easy Method partially because others in my family have, and because it supposedly has a good reputation, it's been in the community for years, etc. Although, with the non-service I received, I don't see how that's possible. I paid 440 dollars for a course that was supposed to start on August 10. It wasn't until the afternoon of August 8th that I was told that the class was canceled. No explanation, no offer for another weekend course, nothing. I work during the day and I'm in grad school - so Saturday is the only option open to me. I politely asked for a refund, and they said no problem. Until I had to call my credit card company to force a chargeback. I'd say that's a problem. You can't ever get a hold of anyone on the phone. An answering service always picks up and invites you to leave a message - although if you leave your phone number they'll never return your call. I called multiple times over a course of 2 months asking them for my money back. The first time I was told "give it 30 days". Well, as far as I know, 30 days doesn't equal 2 months. And they never DID process the refund - my credit card company dispute did. Don't be fooled by this place's promises of good service, long-standing record in the community, blah blah. Bottom line is - they cancel classes with no reason, they won't accommodate schedules, and they like to keep your money. 'nuff said.
