Based on the solid Yelp reviews, I had my U.S. passport photos taken for a digital renewal. Unfortunately, the photo was denied on the U.S. government site because it didn't meet the required specifications - the distance to the camera was too close. Now I have to return to have the photos retaken, which is both frustrating and a waste of time. Overall, this experience was disappointing and unsatisfactory. I returned today, 11/25 for the retake and was told that the camera was not in operation. Look elsewhere for passport photos if you want them done right the first time and save yourself the inconvenience. read more

I normally don't go out of my way to write poor reviews, but I'm hoping the owner will see this and change some training & hiring procedures. This is one of the few print shops open on Sunday in the area, so I used the dropbox to send some files over I needed for Monday. The poor man behind the counter was NOT trained. He had very few basic computing skills and near-zero skills with printers. He didn't know what a dropbox was and where to find it. The owner had not left him the password to access it once I walked him through where to find it. He didn't know how to open a zip file or where to download it. He didn't know how to print a jpeg. The printer jammed and he didn't know how to follow the moving pictorial instructions of how to clear it. He couldn't get ANY of the 3 printers to print correctly or at all. My 5-minute print job took nearly 2 hours. When my patience at his incompetence ran dry, I finally took his mouse and keyboard and did it myself. I also fixed the printer jam MYSELF. I also helped the customers that came in after me MYSELF. I'm not mad at this poor man with no training. I'm FURIOUS at the owner for hiring someone without the very basic skills to do the job, and left him all day by himself without ANY training. This poor man kept telling me the "regular guy" is amazing and so fast, but there hasn't been any time to train him yet. He did his best and tried to smile and laugh about his inabilities, but this was unreasonable. Bad bad practices. Do better. read more

I needed a passport photo and discovered that EZ has the camera designed specifically for passports. The owner (?) took my photo right away and handed 2 copies to me about 3 minutes later. Short disclaimer: price was what brought me in initially, it's cheaper than Kinkos for b&w prints by less than half but I had a really great experience on top of saving some serious dough so I thought it deserved a shout-out. I was printing a zine and a mixtape with labels and j-cards so there was 3 paper types, multiple document formats, etc etc, and I was sort of in a rush and the manager? owner? who was on staff that day was so patient and helpful and worked with my wonky formats and font issues and the finished product is exactly how I envisioned it. I could tell he was focused on getting me what I wanted first and foremost and was more than happy to help me troubleshoot and proof print and even saved my settings for next time so it will be a snap in the future. My now-husband and I used EZ Copy N Print for all of our wedding stationery (save the dates, bridal shower invites, wedding invitations and detail/rsvp cards, and bar menu). Everything about our experience was great. Cully is responsive, helpful, and kind. When I would place a large order, he would make sure I was satisfied with the proof before printing/charging me. And the turnaround time, even for a large number of invitations, was fast. Plus, the prices are great. A great example of their quality of service: About a week before our wedding (and a few days before we needed to get on a plane to the wedding location), I sent Cully a bar menu to print. It was a weekend and when I went to pick the menu up the following week, Cully mentioned to me that he had been worried I was not going to get the print in time so he went back to check our invitation for our wedding date (he had thought it was that same weekend). I thought it was such a nice gesture and a great reason to shop small and local. Everything we printed at EZ came out so well. And as much as I hate going to the Ave, after my experience here, I will never use another print shop in Seattle. read more

EZ COPY N PRINT offers quick passport photos (2) for a reasonable price. I've used passport photo services at Bartells and Rite-Aid; and it was a one-and-done rush photo shoot. I was NOT given the opportunity to approve the photo before printing so my last passport photo had my eyes nearly shut as I blinked when the shutter clicked. With EZ COPY N PRINT, I was shown the digital image for my approval. Overall, I liked the quality and price of the passport photos. I know some people prefer to go to a professional photographer, but I don't think it's worth the time or cost. The photo is only 2" x 2" and the photo image gets further degraded when uploaded to your passport. read more

This place was terrible. Never going there again. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I never post reviews unless I honestly want to save future customers the trouble of going there. I went to print 1 simple, 2-page document on 8.5x11 cardstock paper. It took almost 30 minutes and ended up with awful quality prints that are completely unusable. The place was also a complete mess! The person working there couldn't even find 8.5x11 cardstock paper and ended up taking a tabloid poster size sheet and cutting it down individually!! They didn't know the difference between matte or glossy paper and further lack of printing/tech knowledge extended to incorrectly ejecting my flash drive which can cause loss of files! In the end, I still had to pay $5 for pages that just ended up in my recycle. read more

I received outstanding service from EZ Copy N Print for printing my wedding invitations. We brought in our own paper and a design template in Word on a USB drive that I had purchased from Etsy, not considering that the font design would not load without having the custom Etsy font installed on your computer. Luckily, I worked with EZ to provide them with the font, and the guy spent about 30 minutes with us tweaking the design and fitting it to size with no complaints until it was just the way we liked it. We had EZ print and cut both the invitations and the RSVP info cards, and the quality was perfect. The quality of service, product, and price are an amazing value that can't be beat. Took a 2*2 photo which does not actually fit the requirement of DS-160 form for F1 visa! Showed the photographer the template from US consular yet he still did not include my shoulder in photo. He insisted he was right and refused to take another one for me. Now my F1 visa progress is blocked for this photo I took here. Never ever come back again. Unfortunately the photos turn out to be quite terrible, faces were yellow. Can't really use them in applications, for fear of getting rejected.
