I want to say thank you to Lily for being so amazing!!! I had come in with a problem with my car title. After purchasing the car through Navy Fed the dealership did not fill out the paperwork and title correctly and the bank was not happy. Instead of waiting hours at the dmv I called around a few shops and NO one wanted to help me. Until I called these guys Mark ( also owner of the dump shop) told me to come by that they would help me as best they can. I love this place! I have gone here for my last 3 or 4 smog tests and I am always in and out very quickly! This time, I had let my registration laps and did not realize it. I was frantic when I got a letter on a Saturday from the DMV saying I was delinquent. I immediately came to EZ auto registration and within about 15 minutes, I had the entire thing resolved and I was back on the road and LEGAL!! After spending hours trying to do a boat title transfer at the online Dmv services; then hours trying to make an appointment at Dmv only to find out they are not taking appointments except for licensing now; not comfortable going directly to the Dmv due to Covid concerns; also determining AAA does not include title transfer in its Dmv services, we decided to bite the bullet and go to a paid service. OMGoodness, Quick and Ez made this title transfer sooo easy and fast. Walked right in, transferred title and got temp papers in a jif. Price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend this place. Went and saw Kevin to get our out of state car registered. I was a little bothered because he took our paperwork and sat down at his desk and stared entering our info into his computer. Did not tell us why he was doing this. Made me really un comfortable. We still had to come back because we were missing some info. He gave me an estimate and told me to come back when i had the rest of the paperwork. I decided i was going to go to the CA DMV after we left. I saved $150 dollars by going there. I didn't have any waiting and I was able to get my new car registered and the old one released in about 10-15min tops! Very professional, excellent service. The DMV is always a mad house, long waits etc., so this well worth the extra fee in my opinion. I also needed to get the car smogged to finish the registration, and there is a smog only check place right next door. This guy is a thief. He lies about your fees at the DMV and then pockets the money. He told me DMV never waves back registration fees. That is a lie, they do .all you do is fill out a simple paper called a declaration. They will waive your fees. he lies, he gets the DMV to wave the fees then he pockets all your money .he also lies about registration for out-of-state cars. He tells you there's a fee for registering your car that is coming in from out of state there is not. He charged my friend $400. Unnecessarily. read more

The guy does what he says here. Makes your life easier, no waiting in line. He's got a "business voice". If you want to know what that is, call him and ask a few questions. It cost $50 to get my car titled in my name. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because pricing is not featured on his website. If it's there, it wasn't easy to find... I understand people are resistant to pay for his extra fees, (I'm guessing that is why he does not make pricing obvious). But of course he has to have a reason to provide the service. In summary, the service will save you a ton of time, if you can pay the reasonable fees. Just call to ask for the fees, and hear the "business voice". Also, 1% fee for debit card, and 3% fee for credit card payment. read more

I used to go to another registration place other than DMV to get our company's vehicles registered. It was just to much out of the way, so by chance I found EZ Auto registration on my way to our office and thought why not try it. I brought in 5 different things to register, get tags, etc..... and within hours they were all completed. (besides one trailer that Kevin has yet to get any response from Texas trailer in El Cajon). He keeps calling them and still nothing. Kevin has a great insight on political views which is refreshing in this society now a days. I have used this family duo since I first bought my car in 2010; after 4 other cars and a motorcycle later I still used him. Yes there is a service fee but what company doesn't charge you for service. I know I am a pretty busy guy and could find better use of my time rather than spending it in the long lines at a DMV. If you have questions he'll answer it and give you a price range on how much its going to cost. I never had any issues with this company and plan to use them in my future endeavors. read more

I went here to register my vehicle five months ago and thought it all went well. However, yesterday I got a letter from the DMV saying my registration was incomplete until I paid additional fees, but the plate number on the letter did not match the plate number on my vehicle. I called the DMV to tell them they made a mistake only to be informed that my registration was invalid, my plates weren't registered to my vehicle, there was no record of plates or registration documents being issued to me, and I owed them $1600 in fees. Save your money, time, and a headache and just go to the DMV for registration. You don't want invalid plates and registration for 6 months. read more

I had to process a pretty complicated case - bought a salvaged vehicle, and it was the first time the salvage title was being issued for this car. I had inspection papers and salvage certificate, but needed to process the registration - and quickly. I don't have time to stand in a DMV line. These guys processed everything quickly and at a very reasonable rate. Saved me loads of time. I'm here all the time. The service is great. Kevin helps us keep our fleet of trucks and equipment up to date.

Kevin helped us with some really complicated transactions involving our daughters car. If we had done this ourselves we would have had to make multiple multiple trips to DMV and spend hours altogether because we had no clue what forms and documentation needed etc. Yes we paid fees but it was totally worth it for his expertise and the fact that it all went smoothly instead of having one DMV person tell us one thing and them when we go back tell us something more. I think we were his most frequent customers for a while there. First it had to be registered in CA because it was out of state. Then later the car was repossessed because she wasn't making the payments and we figured we would just bail it out and then it would be in our name alone (we were cosigners -stupid us) and we would sell it to get back some of the money she owed us. When we bailed it out because we found out it didn't work that way, he helped us get it re-registered and then worked with us and the lender to get the car titled as Her name or our name instead of her name and our name. Eventually we paid off the car to just be done with it and he again helped get it into her name alone so we could stop paying the insurance on the thing not to mention any liability if it was in an accident. read more

To set the tone of my visit, I waited at the front desk for several minutes while the sole employee chatted on his cell phone with an obviously personal call. When I finally had his attention I asked about registering a golf cart but quickly learned that he "doesn't like doing those" and would "have to charge you a lot." Rude, less than helpful. I don't know if they are associated with the "SMOG Only" station next door but it wouldn't surprise me as they are rude too with outrageous prices. read more

Obviously it is on the pricey side, but how convenient to get a smog check AND renew your registration in the same area, with no wait, and no appointment necessary?! If you enjoy waiting in line for hours at the DMV, then DON'T read this review! I don't buy cars very often but I knew I had no desire to brave the crowds at the DMV. I walked into this business and registered my car in less than 15 minutes! Kevin, who I believe is the owner, was both helpful and informative and the service was well-worth the rather minimal fee charged to take care of this registration. I would recommend this business to anyone needing to register a car without hesitation. I didn't get the vibe that Kevin was dishonest in any way and since this type of business is so highly regulated by the State of California, I find it hard to believe that he could overcharge for fees and then "pocket" the differences in refunds as everything has to run through the State and they would surely not allow him to perform this service if he was an unethical business person. read more
