Jessica at California Registration was very helpful with getting my tags and California plates taken care of. She was professional, patient, and made the whole process much easier. They are short-staffed, so definitely be patient and understanding, but Jessica did a great job helping me through everything. Don't let the negative reviews discourage you. My experience was great, and I really appreciate Jessica's help. I would definitely recommend California Registration! read more

I wish I would have read the reviews before I went here. They have the WORST customer service I have ever seen. Mine started last August. Jessica screwed up my Transfer and registration, Blamed it on the State. Wouldnt take responsibility for the error. I brought the paperwork in to get it fixed, she took all my paper work and said I will call you in a week, That never happened, That happened several times. I went back in about every month to find out the progress and I would get the standard answer, we're still working on it, still waiting on the state. (without checking her computer to even look at my issue) The more questions I asked the more she would stonewall me. Today I went somewhere else and got everything taken care of in about 30 minutes. I feel she totally ripped me off. Do yourself a favor, Go anywhere else than here. read more

Fast, friendly, and always saves me time from going to the DMV anytime I need any registration services.

I came here for help and Jessica was so amazing and helpful. Definitely recommend and would come back again

fast easy and professional! i got my tags asap! why wait in the dmv lines when you can get your smog and tags in the same spot ! adedela, jessica helped me out ! read more

California Registration Services - Registration Services Near Me - El Cajon, California

Lost my title paperwork, incorrectly filed another title transfer, disrespectful and condescending. For over half a year I would get the same "working on it" , "call you back", "I'm too busy right now". I have worked in DOD aviation and aerospace for over 10yrs where accountability is held to the upmost standard and to be accused that I lost it was just completely funny. I even have a voice recording of the lady cussing at me and trying to make me feel like I was stupid or incompetent when asking about my paperwork for the 100th time. For the love of God don't ever go here, I wish I would of just gone straight to the DMV and waited in a 2hr line to save my self the 6+ month head ache. read more

I needed to transfer title and register a newly purchased used pick-up truck. I did not want the hassle, inconvenience or frustration of the DMV. Off to California Registration Services I went. I walked in the door at 3:39 PM, I walked out with everything completed at 3:55 PM. 16 minutes! What can you accomplish at the DMV in 16 minutes? A big fat nothing! CRS charged a $35 fee for title transfer. 35 bucks to not have to go to the DMV? A bargain at any price! Isabel (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was great! Excellent customer service. Very professional, personable and funny. Cute too! I returned the following day to pick up my registration. The picking up process took all of 30 seconds. Fast, friendly service! Five stars, fully recommended. read more

Really not sure how she's still in business. Rude and has no patience. Dealt with Jessica, If you go here, expect to be treated like complete shit, has no respect for customers and doesn't actually help at all. There's a lot of better options in El Cajon don't waste your time here read more

Rosie is always a pleasure to work with and gets it done! Glad to have found this place

The girls there rock. They take care of you and are the best. I never go to DMV anymore. Where else can you go that takes care of you like you are important to them. read more

Extremely rude, uninterested and unhelpful. The LOUSIEST customer service I've ever witnessed. Waited in line while they took their time with other frustrated customers. No apologies for the wait and worse still, while reluctantly answering my question, the associate ('Nikki') decided to fixate on the TV screen behind and tune me out, completely. Nasty-rude behavior. I've never been anywhere and been treated so poorly. Services like these are everywhere, so do yourself a favor and avoid these rude jokers.... the worst of the worst. read more

Have you ever tried to renew the registration on a vehicle that was 6+ months expired, or register an out of state, non-residential trailer - on the DMV website? And did you get 80% of the way through just to "lose connection" and have to start all over? Some of us weren't born with a tablet in our hands. Some of us would happily pay for the valuable SERVICE that's being provided. Take my money and give me a new goddamn year sticker for my license plate and let me get on with my life. Well worth the $40. My time is well worth that $40. So stop bein half a momo and fork up the two dubs to save some TIME. Then go ENJOY your life cocksucka! read more

Awesome service! I had to get another title for a vehicle that was from my late grandfather and didn't have the time to go down to DMV. Was a big help with getting the paperwork done. Would definitely recommend! read more

Tried to pass off an unregistered car with an old, not from the current owner, title. Total BS. In my experience, they were trying to help a friend pull a scam. Run. read more

The cigarette was more important than paying customers. You can't get to this business easily due to road construction. I wanted to give them my business because I'm sure this isn't easy for them. Do Not Bother them! They are on break. If they were busy? I might understand, but guess what I'm busy too. Driving to La Mesa to spend money on registration. Sad, I hoped I could give them my business. read more

Tammy I think?? Horrible customer service. she's the lady upfront. Can she be miserable somewhere else lmao? but that was from my last experience being there in person last year. They're Super unorganized. Called in and they left me on hold for a long time and hung up on me later. Don't bother coming here read more

Great alternative to the hassle of the DMV. Everyone is super friendly and helpful prices are also reasonable. I will say that they do tend to get very busy so make sure you allocate enough time for your visit but they do provide cookies and a smile read more

This is such an unprofessional establishment. A business meant to lessen the inconvenience of the DMV did the exact opposite. After multiple trips, countless misunderstandings and a ridiculous amount of "extra" fees, I'm left without car registration and a pink slip that was sent back to me via mail that I never received. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place sucks. I was referred here by a friend and they screwed everything up except taking my $298 in fees. They charged me all the fees for title and registration and I never got my title. Five months later and I can't get auto insurance as the title I had on hand was the old one from the seller. Upon retiring here, they confiscated the title; knowing how they fucked up. Yet, Nikki and the staff wants me to pay additional fees to redeem the title. You fucked up, you fix it. Don't tell me to reach out to DMV after I used and paid you all your fees. I utilized your facility; and never again after this. They won't admit their mistakes, yet come up with bs verbiage. Bunch of thieves. Oh, and I don't believe your statement "those are the computer fees". Bullshit! Gave them 2 stars; because after I refused to pay again, they said we can try to get you a duplicate. Btw, Nikki coming out screaming and getting loud is not sexy or professional. It's actually kind of sad. I will never come back and will never refer anyone to you. read more

5 star service! These girls know how to hustle! I was in a jam getting my tags for my 5th wheel by Friday to leave on a trip taking the Rig, and these amazing ladies got the job done within 24 hours and I got my tags in my hand. I spent days trying to avoid taking my 45 foot 5th wheel to the DMV and visited other registration offices who told me they could not get it done in for another week. Plus the $900 extra fee the other location told me I needed to pay to get the tags. Thank you ladies for your quick service and saving me the $900 . I will be Recommending your office to everyone I know who is trying to avoid the ugly hassle of the DMV. Bobby Pelletier read more

Thank god for this place! Open on saturdays we had to get an ATV registered and they were able to do it quick and easy and were very nice! Clean and cool office and they bring their pets in which I think is way cool! Chealsea and cristy were super nice and helpful!!! read more

I didn't want to believe the reviews about this place because I never thought it would happen to me. Please stay away from this establishment. The fees do not justify the service provided. You can now go onto the DMV website and get in line at your local DMV while you're still at home in bed. The DMV is making things easier and more AFFORDABLE than this place can ever make it. You've been warned! read more

This is the worst business I've ever stepped foot into. They made this process so painful they made the DMV look like an efficient place of business. Not only were the people there incompetent but I paid a total of $110 in their "Admin" fees for them to waste not only my money but more importantly my time. The process was never finished and I asked them to ship me my pink slip back to me and they didn't supply me with a tracking number or any proof that they sent it. Now I don't know where the title is, I'm down $110 and more money in gas cause I've been back there a total of 7 times and I'm never going back there again that's why I asked them to mail me my title. Which I'm pretty sure they didn't because I got absolutely nothing in my mailbox and when I called them about the tracking number they said "oh, we know about you" and were so rude saying that they just shipped it regular mail 7 days ago. I award this place no stars (if possible) and may god have mercy on your souls. read more

Last year I had them do a title transfer that ended up with paperwork being lost and when I walked in to figure out what to do they said make an appointment because they didn't have time right now The transaction took me 6 months to complete Today I called prior to going in asking clearly if a second party signature would be needed and they said no. No problem I drove to the location to find yes the signature I called about was required Cost a lot of time again, not sure why I tried And they think it's funny to waste people's time read more

I remember when this place was worth the insane fees they charge because you got in and out quick, they were awesome at the services they offer and they were friendly. I've registered 8 different cars over 30 times here the past 10 years and they have gone down the drain. Plan on waiting over an hour, Nikki hardly ever available anymore, today this older guy with an attitude helped me and zero understanding of customer service - treated me like a was a burden to him (tho I'm paying his wages???). I'll go to the DMV before I come back here - too bad, this place used to be great. read more

They are not organized at all. It was a mess walking in. It's not even clear who you're supposed to go to. The place looks like it's a mess and everyone is all over the place. They are very unprofessional it doesn't even feel like you're in a place of business. They didn't even know how to change my car from commercial to just a 4 door sedan. . I was told I would have to pay 300 in late registration fees plus told me that the vehicles registration is 135. Well luckily I have AAA. when I went to AAA they said there were no late fees because the car was non op and the registration is only 65. This company does not have full access to DMV records. If I went through them I would have paid more than double what I actually had to pay. I'll stick with AAA from now on. read more

I usually do my own DMV stuff, but with the temporary closing of the El Cajon, CA office, I just wasn't willing to deal with the hassle of driving to one of the other offices in San Diego. After an quick internet search, I found CRS. I called them to make sure they could do a title transfer to a non-profit I run. They said yes. I walked in the door a 9:02 am, handed Niki my paperwork and chatted with her about old cars and Jeeps while she was processing the title transfer. Fifteen minutes later, she was done and I had my car registration in hand. Fast, friendly, quick. All the things the DMV aren't. I'll NEVER go to a DMV office again! read more

These folks are really excellent. I had a 1967 car that hadn't been registered since 1975, and I had no pink slip for it. I read all the Internet DMV horror stories about how I was going to have to track down the original owner (probably dead), and how it was going to cost me a fortune. I went in and spoke to Nikki (sp?) on a Saturday afternoon, and by Monday, it was already in the DMV system. A week later, one of their guys came to my house to verify the VIN, and by that afternoon, it was done. The car is now titled in my name for $125. They run a VERY busy little office, but you just have to roll with it....they will get your stuff done, and you don't have to suffer at the DMV. If you are into classic cars, give these guys a try. They will be getting all of my future business and recommendations. read more

This place was amazing. I had an appointment at DMV for 9am. I stood in the appointment line to check in for almost 45 minutes. So I decided to leave. I was in and out of this place in about 10 minutes. Of course you pay for the convenience, but I will gladly pay $35 to not sit in the DMV for an hour. I will definitely be using this place next year for my registration. read more

Great service. Always making DMV paperwork seamless. Beat the line and use these girls!
