The staff are very friendly in there and greet you with a smile which is nice! Lunch is standard pub fare - baguette, sandwiches, salad, chips etc, but it's in the evening when it really comes into its own. They have a good selection of food, but always have specials as well. The quality of the food is excellent and there is certainly plenty of it. In fact there is probably too much, we sent back so much of the side dishes it was embarrassing last time. It wasn't even stuff we'd ordered, it just arrived with masses of veg, potatoes, salad and chips! All in all one well worth visiting for a cosy evening meal out.

They have ample tv's on the wall so watching your sporting event shouldn't be an issue. The issue, I would say, is with the volume of people. Even though they have a large bar in the main pub and a smaller bare for the rear part it was a struggle to get served.
