The front desk has always been pleasant and go the extra mile when it comes time to helping me choose new frames that go with my face shape. I have had only one incident where they forgot to submit the order for my contacts, but when I called 2 weeks later after not hearing from them, (which is unusual because I typically hear from them within a week) they apologized and submitted my order and ordered an extra pair of contacts for the inconvenience. I have really bad astigmatism and they usually quote 2 weeks for my special order contacts but they almost always come in less than a week. I have broken 2 pairs of glasses, thankfully they had a one year warranty and I had them both replaced, no questions asked. Overall I think the ladies in the front do the best that they can to give you the absolute best service that they can give. I have even referred friends here because I just love coming here. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

We have always noticed this but it wasn't that extreme so we persevered. Recently I had allergic reaction to the trial contacts they gave me. I called to have them switch the brand. She gave me the impression she doubted me because my trial contacts were from months ago. As I was explaining to her that the first time I tried them I didn't realize I was allergic. (I thought I caught pink eye) she interrupted me. And then she started insisting I come in for another exam. I told them I don't have time for that just need a different brand. But they persisted in needing me to do another exam even though my prescription is still valid. I asked to speak to someone else or even the Dr herself. But the same woman persisted on the call. And she interrupted me again. Having no flexibility and being rudely interrupted by whoever answered that phone just made them lose 2 clients. Plus my husband was about to start going there too. So they lost 3.

After lots of initial testing by others (which I expected and had no problem with), I was escorted to a waiting area before seeing Dr. Wright. However, I never saw him. I saw another doctor who had a scribe. I left without seeing Dr. Wright. I find it strange that when a patient makes an appointment with a specific doctor and waits until there is an opening to see that doctor that the patient is seen by someone else. I am unsure if the doctor I saw is an optometrist or an ophthalmologist. I addition, it is important for people to know that they add a percentage to credit card payments and do not take checks over $100. Fortunately I have a debit card.

This location is visible in a strip center on the Hwy 59 feeder road near First Colony Mall. So, when your exam is complete treat yourself to a shopping spree. The practice offers low vision and dry eye exams amongst other procedures. The office is clean and spacious with a friendly staff that returns patient calls. Dr. Chau is personable while offering great patient care.

I was able to get my appointment very easily. Excellent communication via text messages. I received several confirmations reminding me of my appointment time and even follow up that day when I was running a few minutes late. I was checked in right away. The office is nicely set up with refreshments. I was the only one there at the time so I was seen right away. Dr. Huynh was fantastic and informative. From start to finish the appointment only took 20 minutes. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Clear Lake area.

My vision works just fine... but Barbi's vision not so much…read more Barbi is definitely a fan of Visionworks as we have now visited about five different locations, and at four of the five, we receive great customer service. There was only one bad experience. I will get to reviewing the others another time. But this location was one of several that treated her very nicely and offered her different deals that were generally about the same as what other chains would offer, but with slightly better service and generally about the same as the other Visionworks locations that we visited. I guess the only downside other than the pricing - which is not in the cheap range - is that we noticed on all of their location listings they do have some fake reviews, quite a few in fact the same written by the same people. But I guess that's how they do business and part of their business model.

Absolutely terrible! Wait times are the longest ever, and the staff are always confused. I waited…read moreover an hour for my eye exam and was told that they were behind schedule due to a late customer. They try to hold you hostage and force you buy glasses and contacts from there by holding your prescription. I called to simply request that my contact prescription be emailed to me because they did not offer it when I left. Over an hour later, I've received nothing. Then I call to say I hadn't received it, and I was waiting due to being at an eyewear establishment, and I was rudely told that I need to wait because they have customers. The staff is ridiculous as they cannot properly multi task and complete more than one task in a matter of an hour. They always seem frazzled. I will absolutely never return, and I definitely will not be purchasing any of their excessively priced eyewear!
