I was able to book an eye appointment quickly where I learned (as I suspected) it was time for some glasses while driving. The eye doctor was nice and talked through my questions and concerns. The staff then sat with me to find the perfect frames. I loved that she pulled them for me so I could just sit at the mirror and try on pair after pair. Also appreciate that she brought me SO many to pick from and was adamant I try until I loved them. Ended up buying a pair with snap on sunglasses which I love, but after a couple of months, I noticed that the lenses were scratched more than just normal wear and tear would have caused. I took them back and they were able to get them fixed under the warranty so all around great experience. read more

I am not returning! My husband and I had an appointment and purchased glasses. We went to eat lunch and he decided he didn't want his glasses after all (buyers remorse). The manager was present both during the purchase and an hour later for the return. This is important because she was supposed to do the refund the same day. When he went to pick up my glasses, 9 days later, he inquired about his refund. The manager stated it had not been done yet because she has been out. How is she going to lie to cover her mistake?? And she told him there would be a 20% restocking fee!!! What?! I will be disputing this on my credit card, I still haven't received a refund!! read more

I could not recommend a business more than Eye on Broad! From the initial call and appointment to my arrival today it was so effortless and smooth. The front office staff did an incredible job letting me know my benefits ahead of time and being very professional and personable. Dr. Ben Colston was amazing. Very detailed, professional and got to know my every concern. He referred me where it was needed and took his time during my exam. I was given a good amount of trial contacts. My quote for glasses and contact was very reasonable and the over exam cost was very affordable. If you need an eye doctors please do you're self a favor and make an appointment here. I've been a patient here for about 4 years. Medical care is good, I've never had a problem with the Doctors. My spouse and I went in last week for our yearly eye exams and we both ordered new frames and then went to eat. I had buyers remorse and came back to the store about an hour later to cancel my frames, which had to be ordered, and was told no problem. Fast forward 9 days and I go to pick up my wife's frames. The refund on my frames had not been processed and I inquired about it. The office manager, Debbie? Denis? whatever, told me it had been processed today (9 days later) and that there was a 20% restocking fee because my frames had been ordered immediately. What are you restocking? Frames that you didn't have? Did you take the samples and send them to the lab in that hour I was gone? The OM said it was because she was out of town (she was there when I bought them and when I asked for the refund) and it had to be approved by her (whoops, someone didnt do their job and wants me to pay for it). This is a money grab policy and you've lost 2 patients because of it. As good ODs are a dime a dozen, I'll be telling my friends about this as well. Was looking for a new eye doctor closer to my house and Eyes on Broad took my new insurance. Staff is very friendly and so was Dr Ben. Very helpful and understanding, I have issues with cataracts and he referred me to Paragon right across the street. My wife was also there and got her eyes checked too. Highly recommend. read more

Dr. Ben Colston is the best! After checking in with the front desk, the wait time was very minimal. Dr. Colston performed my entire eye exam from beginning to end. (In the past for me, at other offices, it's always been another staff member that performs the eye imaging and eye puff test and then I would see the dr). I have been going to him for two years and it always feels like I'm seeing an old friend. He is very approachable, friendly, and extremely professional. I recently got new vision insurance and was excited to find Eyes on Broad as a participanting provided since the office is close by I went in to review the inventory. My excitement ended there! The front office staff ignored me the WHOLE time. I tried on a few frames thinking someone would address me at some point. After waiting another 5 minutes I said hello and still nothing. I thought to myself maybe they are busy with something and surely one of the ladies would at the least ask me if I needed some help. I continued to browse a few more times and nothing. Absolutely loved this Optimetrist, it's close to me and I got my eyes checked, they are doing great! I got some free samples, eye drops for my scratched cornea as well. And they gave me a discount on my glasses! They have Tom Ford frames that are absolutely gorgeous, they also have ray-bans , Michael kors and more! Dr Colston is awesome , he was thorough with the exam, the staff is awesome as well. We really enjoyed our visit. The office is so clean and There's plenty of parking outside, they have coffee and drinks while you wait. read more

They were so accommodating, one thing I liked was the eye doctor he was so patient and I didn't feel like cattle. They helped me pick out glasses. When they could have sold me the more expensive ones, she was honest and told me which one suited me best. They weren't the most expensive ones. I loved her honesty. read more

My family and I recently began going to Eyes on Broad when our insurance changed. I unexpectedly needed to get a screw replaced in my daughter's glasses, and I was relieved to see that Eyes on Broad would open at 8 AM the following morning. I arrived at 7:58 AM, and waited until 8:02 AM and the lights were still off and the door was locked. I drove away and called back five minutes later to inquire on when they would be opening for the day. The young lady I spoke with, advised me that they were currently open. I explained why I was asking because I was just there and the doors were locked. She flat out said "NOT TRUE ...we're open". Clearly I had tried the door and it was locked. When I returned I asked if she was the young lady I spoke with and she confirmed. I re-explained that I was there and tried the door, and another lady interjected saying that she must have been in the back taking out trash, and the original lady just walked away to fix the glasses without another word. I wouldn't be so upset if she just told me, they were a few minutes delayed in opening, which would have been totally fine. I just felt that her attitude was very rude in nature and uncalled for when a simple acknowledgment would have sufficed. Additionally, this is not the first time I've experienced negative customer service at Eyes on Broad. The times I've visited before for my eye exam and picking up my glasses, I was given the impression that they did not want to service me or as if their job did not entail assisting me. I saw this new Optometrist and Eye glasses Office on my way into a business next door. Thought I'd stop to check it out since I was thinking I wd like to see the frames they offer. I have done that a lot in the last six months because I have been shopping for the just right ones plus pricing and value ! Went to at least 4 others before this one! It's a brand new business and the people are VERY customer service oriented! They have a nice size selection of the newest designer eye glasses. All price ranges. Optometrist was busy but once I started trying on various pairs of the newest shapes, colors, and sizes of eye glasses I was hooked! The girl who assisted me ran around the entire store gathering glasses she thought would look great and fit the description I gave her on what exactly I thought I wanted! I had so many great choices! Ended up having an impromptu eye exam with the Dr (he fit me into his schedule) - and he has the latest high tech equipment! Doesn't even need to dilate your eyes like others due to the newest technology of the eye exam equipment! Got my updated prescription, ordered a new pair of frames w lenses to my specs & was out the door happy as a lark about my new find!
