PARENTS: Please remember your babies might not know if their prescription is wrong. Taking them to a provider that doesn't know how to check eyes correctly could result in major medical issues including migraines and even balance issues. *yelp doesn't allow 0 stars as an option.

RANT to Wichita Eyecare! My last pair of contacts I had fell out last night and I do not own…read moreglasses so I called today to try to get an eye appointment because my prescription is a -5.75 and I cannot see 5 feet in front of me. I called to set up an eye exam and I asked if there is a way I can at least get an emergency pair in the meantime so I can work and drive legally and the "office manager" basically told me "that sucks there's nothing I can do" she told me she won't let me get a pair just to wear until my exam. That she could get me in Tuesday and also refused to let me speak to the doctor. Told me he's with a patient and I said I don't mind holding. She then told me "he doesn't have time for this". I had always used A different eye clinic before them and I never had this problem as soon I realized I ran out they let get an emergency pair and then let do my eye appointment and order my contacts after my appointment. So basically I'm having to go to work and drive myself without hardly being able to see anything in front of me. I've never had this happen... and I don't buy glasses because I only wear contacts.. I've looked around and tried to buy pairs off people I know and work with but no one is close to my prescription. I'll never use them ever again. This customer service to me BLEW MY MIND. If I could give ONE star I would! I'll never be back. Take your business to Hayley Eyecare on Kemp. They treat you like family.

My elderly mother attended her appointment this week at the Maplewood Eyecare clinic in Wichita…read moreFalls Texas. She was faced with very rude and unnecessary comments from one of the main technicians. After not filling out the paperwork entirely because the clipboard clip was covering a portion of the paperwork she was was asked why she didn't fill out the paperwork correctly and the technician proceeded to ask her if she could read. The question was obviously meant as a rude comment because she could tell from the form that my mother had just filled out that she could in fact read. As a business professional in the Dallas area I find that customer service is one of my top priorities. My mother felt so uncomfortable that she asked for another person to see her. They ended up telling her she would have to reschedule her appointment if she wanted to be seen by another person. She had already used disability services transportation to get to her appointment and waited all morning to see someone but because she was so shaken by the way she was being spoken to she agreed to reschedule. This is not okay, this location should reconsider their customer services expectations. When I called to talk to someone at that location today I was not greeted with an apology or a way to submit a complaint. The person on the phone instead wanted to defend herself and start an argument. This is where I refused to continue the conversation, told her to have a good day and proceeded to seek out another way to file a complaint.
