The woman who helped me was amazing! Her name was Emily and she greeted me immediately when I walked in and shortly after sat patiently with me to determine the best option regarding using my insurance for frames and lenses, or using their current BOGO, depending on which was a better deal for me. She calculated the cost of each to determine which was the lesser cost for the same exact product. She double checked her work and handled my private information appropriately, shredding it immediately after she was done. She was so kind and caring, it was a nice interaction at a business for a change! I've always gotten my glasses there and there is usually a long wait, but I've always been pleased with the product. Eyemart Express saved me during a desperate time. My progressive lens glasses were suddenly broken and I needed a replacement ASAP. Other options would take about two weeks. Eyemart Express is the only place nearby that could do my progressive lenses an hour. They had a good selection of glasses and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate. After an hour I had new glasses and for that, I'm thankful! (Note, check ahead of time to see if they can do your prescription in an hour). read more

There's nothing Express about Eyemart Express, 5 hours ago promised a text message, still nothing! Came in 2 days ago to get new lenses and bifocals and waited 3 hours. Granted, school had not started yet, so I did expect to have a long wait. Went back and picked up my glasses on Saturday and was told I would have to wait an hour to pick them up. I took them instead, went back to the house and check them and the bifocals aren't working properly. Showed up Monday at 11:02, went and got gas, went to Walmart, went and bought a pair of shoes and socks, and 3 hours later I still don't have a text saying it is my turn. I would recommend going to Walmart Vision Center where you don't have to wait a whole day and make three trips to get glasses. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Eyemart Express in Sherman Town Center. Tracy bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. Jessica lost her voice on the day I was in there. I admire for coming to work and writing notes to customers. When I came back a couple days later, her voice had returned. She told me a customer yelled at her because she did not have a voice. I went in to get my glasses tightened since they were falling off my face. Skylar was very rude to me and was very obviously talking about me to Ethan. When it was my turn to come she very loudly said to Ethan that she wouldn't call me. I was then handed off to Annie who was super sweet and the only reason they are getting more that one star. My glasses unfortunately still feel like they are falling off my face but I had to get out of there. read more

Horrible experience. Glasses didn't fit. Asked for single vision lenses and paid for and got progressive lenses. Makes me sick to wear them.

This place is wonderful! Everyone is so friendly! There was a long line when we came in for a missing screw, and we barely had to wait. The kind lady repaired my husband's glasses back to brand new. She replaced several pieces and adjusted them. Great service! Fast and friendly! read more

The people there are nice, but it's worse than going to the DMV. You get a text message saying that your glasses are ready for pick up. When you arrive you still wait about an hour to get seen. read more

I walked in Eyemart Express in Sherman on Saturday and left very happy. I ending up spending a little over $70.00 (I did bring in my prescription from another eye doctor) and got 2 pairs of glasses. I left and came back from lunch and the glasses were ready. The glasses are very sharp and I can see great!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will recommend Eyemart Express to all my friends. It was my first visit to this store and was very surprised. The tech was not very person oriented. Efficient but slow. No communication with me about what she was doing, just silence. Oh well. Then I went off to Dr Guthrie for the eye exam. I was suffering from double vision. He kept changing the lenses in the machine and I kept saying that I did not see any difference. He kept chuckling, you know that chuckle as if to say "what an idiot". As a paying patient I DO NOT LIKE BEING LAUGHED AT. My wife was going to go there for an exam but we'll go elsewhere now. I have new glasses now with Eyemart, and guess what, still double vision. Pissed away several hundred dollars with these bozos. read more

Had a great experience with these folks, especially the manager - she is great! They have been doing my glasses for years. I have safety glasses from work in addition to a complicated prescription. They have been spot on with the glasses every time. They are the best optical place in Sherman. If you need glasses you will not beat the service and selection. read more
