I placed an order online for prescription sunglasses on July 02, 2025. On July 10th, 2025 I noticed on my online order details that my prescription had not yet been verified, so I called and asked why. I was told that it had been verified and it was immediately changed to state verified. Why 8 days to verify a prescription? 8 days....seriously? Then I noticed that the order was supposed shipped on Saturday July 12th, 2025. I expected that it would be delivered soon, so I then requested a tracking number. I received an email stating that the order has been shipped and was provided a UPS tracking number. I tested the UPS tracking number and come to find out, the tracking number is NOT VALID!. I then check the ship date. Now the shipping date has been changed to Wed. July 16th, 2025 with a UPS tracking number that is still NOT VALID!! Then I tried to contact them again for four days without success. I called their customer service number and as soon as they answered a recording stated they are closed and immediately hung up. I sent numerous emails without a response. Then I contacted National Vision who owns Eyeglass World and they told me that their online customer service system is down and would not be available until Monday July 21st. I then contacted the customer service on Monday July 21st and was on hold for over 31 minutes to find out that the sunglasses had been shipped via USPS....NOT UPS. I would highly suggest NOT ordering online from Eyeglass World, unless you really enjoy waiting a long time to get your glasses as well as being lied to. read more

Infinity and the rest of the staff knocked it out of the park in terms of service, pricing, help and all around excellent customer care. Wow! This place save me in a pinch after Indy 500. My glasses broke and call them on Memorial Day and they were open. Then I proceeded In and they had a doctor who did my prescription. Then they got me two pairs of new glasses out in under an hour. In Virginia that would had cost $1000, now this place for it all was so much cheaper. If I lived in Indy this would be my go to place. Tl; Dr - Calvin, Tessa, Brooklyn, and the doctors were amazing, they will get you right! The team over at Eyeglass world on Crawfordsville road were of great help. They were extremely patient with working with my new job. Not only did i have to wait for my benefits to go into effect, my HR office also put my information wrong so i had to wait even longer. Calvin was extremely patient and even helped by checking in to make sure my insurance was active. Once hr. fixed the issue, he already had the order completed before i even called. Tessa was of great help in assisting me with learning to use contacts. She provided great tips and did not rush for me to learn to put the contacts in. She definitely made the process easier. Brooklyn and all of their doctors were also of great help with assisting in my eye exam and checkups to see how my eyes were handling them. We made an appointment at Eye World even though walk-ins are welcomed. We were greeted by a super friendly man and told to have a seat. He quickly returned with paperwork to complete. Our wait was only a few minutes after we completed the paperwork. Dr. Lee was terrific and thoroughal with the exam plus answered all of our questions. The pricing for the different frames was explained and we began the search for two frames. Ordering the glasses was a fast and easy process. Luckily, one of the frames was in stock so we could pick up the same day. The other pair arrived in 5 days and we were notified the same day. Held me to a 7 minute late time that I wasn't aware of when I probably wouldn't have been no more than 10 mins late. We have gone to this location for my daughters last two sets of glasses. We have had nothing but a great experience here (we do exams else where so we only have experience with purchasing glasses). Last year we bought two pair that were too big and heavy after the prescription lenses were put in them. We returned them and replaced them with smaller frames. Customer service was great and the exchange was easy and quick. I love that they can fill your prescription that day instead of having to wait 2-4 weeks at her eye doctor. Nothing like picking out a pair of glasses and going back later that day to pick them up . Also the prices are great and you can still get name brand frames. We would have paid $269 for one at her eye doctor. We received two pairs of name brand glasses today for the exact same price. read more

I have only been to eyeglass world twice and both times the experience was great. The first time was for contacts for my daughter and they were very patient with her. They listened to her concerns and did not blow us off. The eye doctor checked her three times before we all got my daughter to feel comfortable and could see properly. She loves her contacts and I don't think she would if we had been ignored or brushed off. They care about their customers. The second time we walked in and were greeted right away. My daughter had her glasses stolen from school, so we were hoping to get glasses by Monday. The tech was very helpful and took measurements right away. He then showed us how to pick frames by the numbers on the side. I have never been shown this and I have worn glasses for a very long time. I thought the numbers really helped picking out frames faster. She quickly picked out two frames and we were able to get both pairs the same day. The tech made sure the glasses fit and were comfortable. I have been pleasantly surprise and will definitely go back again. read more

3/12 Update: So while I didn't have the best experience, I was contacted fairly quickly by a new store manager who was super pleasant and informed me they have all new staff and are really shaping things up differently, with a bigger focus on customer service. I always love hearing this! I even spoke with her about popping in this week to have some frames tightened up (it's free of charge here, even if they did not sell you the frames). I definitely appreciate when a store cares enough to follow up on a poor experience. 2/22: The staff was very friendly, but I had to wait 2 hours (AND I HAD AN APPOINTMENT) on a Saturday morning to be seen by the doctor and order contacts. Also, they accidentally forgot to apply my insurance discount and had to credit my card after the fact. They also only ordered me 4 boxes when I asked for a year supply. I had to talk them through what to order. It was very disorganized. read more

Chrys was key in helping me choose new frames. I have received SO many compliments on them since March 2022 when I got them. THANKS Chrys! But then I scratched them on vacation and because I got the insurance, all they have to do is order new lens and cut them when they come in and they will be good as new. I've been to this establishment twice in last 4 years and I can tell you that in the last three years the service and the personnel have really improved. I really enjoyed my experience this time. They were able to schedule me in a very timely manner. The doctors and the staff were all very nice and helpful. They are very upfront with their costs and charges. They will help you and work with your insurance to get you the best value. I Definitely recommend giving this place a chance despite the low reviews from long time ago. read more
