The doctors tend…read moreto rotate pretty frequently - enough so that I've never really had a regular doctor but a string of random practitioners who I am unlikely to see again. This works out pretty well sometimes as it means I can ask whatever embarrassing medical questions I want with no fear of having to face them again in three months time. On the other hand it's also pretty annoying as it means that you have to catch each doctor up with your medical history each time you go. This practice never seems to be running on time with appointments with very long waiting times even when you booked well in advance. My advice is to book one of the first sessions each morning to avoid this. They have a kids play area in the waiting room and plenty of magazines and books for older people to look at. There's also a small television in the corner to keep you entertained. There's about four or five doctors who work here at any given time so they also accept walk-ins without appointments- however except to wait a really, really long time. On site they have a second building, which is equipped for blood tests, injections and x-rays. The staff in this building are really friendly and very good at dealing with people who are scared of having needles. Despite the waiting around, the service here is generally pretty good and because it's so local to me I really cannot complain.

Luckily, my wife had the wisdom to steer me to Vainer Optical, where she is a long-time customer. Igor waved his magic optical wand and repaired my sunnies for a very reasonable price -- and significantly cheaper than nearby shoppes. More than a year later, the glasses are still in perfect condition. Today, Igor repeated his magic trick with my wife's glasses, which our pesky pooch snatched from the dining room table. Good thing for our dog that we have Vainer Optical nearby. Igor is very knowledgeable, and his prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

When I walked into his shop on my return from a 2 week hospital stay, he commented "3rd time lucky" and accused me of being a "no show" on a second occasion. It was not true as I had NOT made a second appointment yet as I knew I was going into hospital for hip surgery. When he couldn't find this second "booking" in his diary, I complained about his attitude and he basically threw me out of the shop and told me that I should go elsewhere which I did and saved myself money! I asked for a copy of my script and all they could give me was a script from 4 years ago which was useless!
