The representative assured me I was in network and even confirmed my copay would only be $10. Based on that information, I scheduled an appointment two weeks out. When I finally arrived, I was told by the store associates that I don't have insurance at all. No explanation, no accountability--just a complete contradiction of what I had already been told. To make matters worse, management handed me a piece of paper and told me to call an automated system myself to verify benefits. I did exactly that, but when the system couldn't directly communicate with the associate, they refused to help any further. So essentially, I was stuck in the middle doing their job for them--and still got nowhere. This place clearly has major communication issues and lacks even basic customer service. Verifying insurance should not be this difficult, and customers shouldn't be left to figure it out on their own after being given incorrect information. Total waste of time. I would not recommend.

Felt comfortable and safe as masks required and glasses you've tried on must be placed in basket for disinfection. i saw this dr Sat and he called me Monday AM and had already scheduled me for eye surgery consult in Bhm. I have always had a wonderful experience with him & his team at that location. I called the 280 store trying to order new contacts & to get a sample pair. I was told he's at the Galleria location on Saturdays, so I went the following Saturday. I was then told that he wasn't there, & I should come back the next Saturday. I came back the NEXT Saturday, he wasn't there & they told me I would have to contact his new office. Mind you, I was going out of town that weekend & expecting to get new contacts this day. I get the Tuscaloosa store information, & they tell me to call on Tuesday when Dr.Cook will be there. I call on Tuesday, the desk woman tells me they don't have my information, but says Dr.Cook will email me my prescription. I let it be known that I have been trying to get this done for weeks & I am going out of town that Thursday. I even offered to drive from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa if it meant I could get some contacts that day (Tuesday). I was told that couldn't happen. After I express NICELY I need these sample contacts TODAY after jumping from place to place for WEEKS, the front desk woman hangs up on me. I did not once raise my voice or have a nasty tone, all I did was express that this has been extremely difficult & I would like for this to be solved today. I have absolutely no problems with Dr.Cook himself & have always had a great experience, none of this review is directed at him or the great quality of work he does. As a person who's been in customer service for over 8 years, when someone representing a business hangs up a phone on a customer for no reason other than not wanting to fix an obvious mistake, they should not be in customer service. Anyway, I was told Wednesday my prescription would be sent to the Galleria location, it wasn't. After ALL THIS, on THURSDAY, the day I leave for my trip, I get a call saying the Galleria has received my prescription, but it's expired (by a few months) & I would have to get another eye exam before getting contacts. I don't think I've ever experienced such horrible misinformation in my life. Weeks of trying to simply order contacts for NOTHING. Don't waste your time here, they have zero clue what they are doing. I'm leaving this review for both the Tuscaloosa & Galleria location, because they really joined forces to make sure that I had the worst experience possible.

I didn't have an infection so I was sent on my way to deal with the pain. Dr. Poore was recommended to me, and on the day of my appointment, I learned that he is a caring and compassionate doctor. I didn't have a bladder infection but I had unrelenting bladder pain. Dr. Poore listened to my issue and I was left to get dressed. I was surprised when he returned to the exam room, sat down, and asked me to go through my history as an urology patient. During my discussion with him, something I said triggered him to say, "I think I know how to treat you." I was diagnosed with cystitis, and he did indeed know how to treat me. Every time I have an appointment, I always see him, he sits down, and he listens to my problem. For a few years, I was away from Tuscaloosa and saw another urologist. During the six years that I went to his clinic, I saw him one time and thereafter I saw the nurse practitioner. I am very thankful and fortunate to have Dr. Poore as my urologist.

Patients schedule appointments and often take time off work, arrange transportation , or wait while feeling sick to be seen. Closing early because the doctor has other plans, without making every effort to accommodate patients, is unacceptable. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. There was no apology, no empathy, and no attempt to offer a reasonable solution or reschedule in a professional manner. Customer service and patient care should be a priority in any medical office. Unfortunately, this office failed on both counts. I cannot recommend this practice and hope they improve how they treat their patients

Clay suggested the kind of hearing aids i needed to correct my problem. My hearing is back to as good as it has every been. I go at regular intervals for hearing aid check up , to update the program, keeps them tuned correct, cleaning and still has a good crisp sound. After several years the hearing aids are as good as new. I am convinced they sell and service one of the best products you will find for hearing problems
