He has eye med through the company he works for . I spoke to rude receptionist. I then called back on Monday to speak to office manager I was not allowed to by same ride receptionist. They keep on saying no coverage cause he is diabetic. I looked eye med says nothing about that . Plus they never asked his policy number so how do they know if they don't check . Hate to lose Dr wilhite . But hate his staff more . That's the last money they will get off me . Not going back.

I had told them my insurance information well in advance, and offered to email them a copy of my insurance card to make sure it was covered. They declined, and didn't tell me there was an issue until I went in for my appointment. When I first arrived, they told me I only had a copay. It was not until I was driving home that they called to tell me I had to pay $150 for the appointment. I would have canceled the appointment if I had known there was a problem with my insurance! They didn't give me a chance, and left me with a huge bill, and the feeling of being taken advantage of.

Sadly, we have all had bad experiences with the medical system, but this place establishes a new low. I have to agree with the reviewer who said piling up money seems to be the priority. Care is not to be had. To start they had 8 - 10 people booked at the same time for one doctor. We could barely squeeze in the door to get in line even though we were 15 minutes early. We finally got up to the surly woman on the front desk and were given a 6-page new patient form to fill out that looked like about a 5th generation copy. It was so faint as to be barely legible for a well sighted person. I don't know they expect of low vision patients! My wife is nearly blind so I accompany her to fill out papers. The waiting room is kept darkened, and if there had not been a seat near the light of the front door, I would never have been able to read it. It took us more than 30 minutes to complete the paperwork, and then the woman asked for insurance and DL which we had given her to start. So she had not verified the insurance which took another half hour. Then the surly woman complained that they had four new patients that morning! We walked out.

AVOID THIS! GLASSES are TERRIBLE! I wouldn't recommend the doctor at this point. I spent almost…read more$800 on glasses and $1000 total including the visit. Product is defective and the lens has a stress crack. If I had broken them, I would have gladly paid for the repair. But even though the product is defective, they are charging me $65+ to address the problem. While I was in the office, someone else came in to return his glasses because he could not see out of them. So the moral of this story is to AVOID THIS PLACE. I told them I would never return and they were fine with it. They don't care about customers, their experience, or their healthcare. As a healthcare provider, they should be ashamed of themselves.
