I searched far and wide for a good eyebrow threading salon before settling on this one. The ladies are really nice, have great skill with their art, and are always very detailed with their results. I've never had to ask them to go back over an area or point out hairs they've missed! I love this place and even though I moved I'll still make the drive to this location to get my eyebrows done. I went to get my brows threaded which I come here before but this time I added henna not knowing what I would get in to. After applying the henna she told me I can take it off at home in 20 minutes. She did not show me after threading my shape. I only saw when she applied the tint and said I can take it off at home , that is odd because as a service provider most of them have you there until finish to make sure you like especially when doing a tint ! I look and realized she did them curved my natural brows are arched ! I go back inside because I'm praying that after those 20 minutes something has changed . I asked for no boxy brows in the front part. I made very clear I want natural . Why she try to convince me these 2 brows look the same .... Look at the ends she missed a spot they are not symmetrical at all! Mam I literally wanted to cry she was very combative and argued back with me even started to record like what are you recording ? The ugly brows ? I know you lying rn like ....all I wanted was a fix for my birthday which is why I came back inside for a FIX/ I even went outside and asked a random lady next to chipotle she agreed because this lady kept trying to make me feel crazy. Every time I go in there I'm disappointed or don't even bother giving them my business as they've had me and my partner who's gone in there multiple times wait. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. She (the one who is always there) waxed my underarms and on one side she went over the same spot multiple times. It didnt hurt too much in the moment but once she was done, it was on fire. The other side, I told her to not go over so many times and she KIND OF listened. I left with bruises under my arms. It's been a week and my underarms are basically scarred/burned where she waxed. You can see clearly where she waxed and pulled skin. My underarms will never be the same and now I'm embarrased to wear tank tops. Not only that but she was listening to my conversation with someone and I dont like that either. I just moved back home from Scranton PA to Lodi CA and had my favorite place that I went to for the 4 years while I was on the east coast, but I have now found and even better place than where I was going out in PA! It was such a cheap price for getting my eyebrows done! I asked to have my eyebrows cleaned up and to keep them thick, and that is exactly what I got!The woman who did my eyebrows was very personable and sweet, she kept a good conversation with me, which definitely took my mind off the pain of getting my eyebrows done! Been here many times before and usually had the same woman (name unknown ) do my eyebrows and she did a good job and did what I asked. Friendly. But unfortunately today she was not there. Well, I came in for a clean up after not having them done in over 3 months and the lady who did them did a terrible job! And I'm not being dramatic. I wish I knew her name but she's an older woman with black glasses. But here is my Complaint #1: Upon entrance, there were two employees and neither one was wearing a face mask. Not until I sat down in the chair to get worked on, the threading lady then puts on a face mask and latex gloves. Ridiculous. When you're in close contact with someone it is common sense to have protection on with this pandemic going on whether you have a customer present or not. Me seeing an employee at a business not wearing a face mask or covering during this time throws me off. I'm a germaphobe, what can I say. Complaint #2: After paying $10 I got to my car and pulled down my mirror and saw how this woman made my eyebrows crooked! My right brow was noticeably thinner and "flat" shaped compared to my left brow which was curvy ! How could this lady not see her mistake or even mention it to me?! So, I got home and even my family members were telling me how my brows were uneven. How embarrassing!!! I had to get my pluckers out and fix them myself! A few moments later, I called to ask for a manager and the woman who answered the phone said no manager was available and had no idea when she would be in.. So I asked if I can get a refund and she said no to come back and the SAME LADY who screwed up my brows could fix them... UM NO. Why would I have the same broad (that screwed my eyebrows up) "fix" them?? So obviously these people don't believe in refunds..They'll just keep telling you to come back. Complaint #3:This lady did Not greet me when I entered.. not so friendly. Not so talkative. But this place is clean..from what it looks like. I used to come here all the time to get my eyebrows threaded, but I moved to concord and dont know any good places out there that do a good job without making my skin breakout. I drove from concord all the way here, which is nearly a 2 hour drive. When I walked in the employees looked at me and didn't say a word and looked at me like they were judging me. Thought that was weird because every time I've come here before they always greeted me with kindness. Then two other people came in after me and they greeted them very chipper "hi how are you doing" at that point I got up to walk out, and one of the employees who wasn't even done with her client said "I can help you ma'am". I said no and walked out. Worst experience here by far, that they didn't even greet me when I walked in and judged me. There must be new people here because both of them didn't look familiar and definitely did not show the same kindness I have been used to since this place opened up. The first day I came there was a woman who sold me on the 3 month unlimited eyebrow threading membership. This girl said she typically works in Lathrop or Stockton. They were very courteous and excited when I agreed to the membership. However, when I go in once a week or bi-weekly to take advantage the Pakistani mid age woman who is typically working is so rude. She stopped greeting me, if she can have someone else help me she will, she pretends like she doesn't know me, and I can tell she is annoyed that I actually take Advantage of my membership. Let's just say that I walked in with eyebrows (that just needed to be slightly cleaned up) and I left with barely any eyebrows left. I have come to this location manyyy times and it has been good. But today the service was terrible and I basically don't have eyebrows anymore. The lady doing my eyebrows seemed very distracted and was looking at someone else and having a discussion with her as she was doing my eyebrows. I go to this Salon regularly for my eyebows. Every time I am very much satisfied with the service. Threading is the way to go if you are looking for nicely shaped eyebrows even if you have sensitive skin. This is very clean and a very nice looking Salon. I tried to avoid going to places that are not salons due to sanitization reasons. All Salons are regulated by the California state board.
