I do like the doctors here, but I've consistently waited 20 minutes plus to see a doctor. Today I had an appt for an exam and I took the first one in the am to avoid the wait. No such luck. Finally, I'd had enough and they were very sarcastically apologetic. I will not be returning here and they will not be getting my insurance money. read more

Doctors and staff are nice but I have consistently had problems with actually being seen at the time of my appointment. It always takes at least 20 minutes after our appointment time for the doctors to call us back. I understand that they need time to attend to other patients but there is no reason that patients should have to wait so long to be seen. read more

Doubled their prices which affectively made my insurance useless. Told me contact exam was covered by my insurance but only half of it was. Could not get glasses as the contact exam was "covered" by insurance. Contact exam only used to cost 50 and now it's 100. Will not be returning again. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Both my wife and I went to have our exams in August. My prescription is basically for slightly stronger than readers. Two weeks after my exam, I was told that "the lab" said my glasses did not pass inspection. Two weeks later, I was told the same thing, at which point I gave up snd got a refund. My wife's experience was a nightmare. She truly needed new glasses. After repeatedly having "lab issues", incorrect prescriptions by the doctor, scratching of her original lenses while replacing with incorrect lenses, having to walk around with scratched glasses for more than two months while they repeatedly messed up her prescription, her lenses, and eventually just being outright rude, they finally got her glasses correct...almost 3 months after her original exam, three more eye appointments, and four or five attempts at getting it right. The office did not offer any compensation off the original price, even after wasting our time for three months, with scratched original glasses and repeated screw-ups. It took three months to get one pair of glasses for two patients... not a good average. Avoid eye to eye at ALL COSTS. Every time we were in the office, we waited in lines of other people who were also frustrated and complaining. A frustrating, horrible, blood pressure raising experience. read more

I have been coming to Eye to Eye for several years now. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable on their product line. The doctor is very knowledgeable and gives a complete exam. Since coming to see her my eye site with glasses are crystal clear. I am so incredibly irritated. I called both this office and my insurance on two separate occasions to confirm an eye exam is 100% covered. Was told yes all four times. So I finally call to make the appointment, she asks if I need glasses or contacts (yes to both), and takes my insurance. She says she will call me if there's an issue with it. My appt is a couple weeks out and they never called, so I figured all was well and I went. She does the exam and the measurements for my eyeglass/contact prescriptions. When the doctor is done I'm directed to the front desk to pay $85 for the "exam" necessary to give me my contact prescription. Wtf. Why on earth would you not tell someone there's an out of pocket cost for something YOU are asking if they need? She tells me no insurance pays for this. I pay and ask about their pricing for glasses. Before we can even get to that they charge $40 to measure your pupillary distance (tiny necessary measurement to order or purchase glasses). What a fn racket. I passed on that because they supposedly don't even have a procedure code for that. Which seems so damn sketchy. I immediately call my insurance in the car and they again tell me there should be no charge for any part of my exam. Call the office back and tell them to submit the entire thing to my insurance. Lo and bold, weeks later, I have a check for $85 from my insurance. I totally get not everyone can know everything about the ins and outs of every insurance. But Jesus be freaking up front about cost. I don't at all appreciate being blindsided with a fee, especially one that I never had to pay to begin with. read more

EYE to EYE rocks. Long story short my, wife has used EYE to EYE for years, i did not. My optometrist moved out of state. I had the replacement Dr do an exam and my Rx had changed. My daughter and I have been going here for years. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and they do an excellent job with appointment reminders and follow-up phone calls. The eye doctors are also great - I've never had a bad experience with this business. I've been to a few local eye merchants that charge hidden or unnecessary fees; this place has NEVER done that and I really appreciate it. My eye had an irritation and was swelling.. The doctor was nice, but I feel like I was overcharged. I waited 30 minutes, she apologized for it, but I was charged 85 dollars for a quick 10 minute visit. I arrived at approx. 6:15 but was not seen until 7:20 or 7:30 -- no explanation was given, just lame apologies and excuses. The office was not crowded, just poorly run. I have had a fabulous experience at Eye to Eye every time that I have gone. The doctors are especially helpful and take time to answer all of my questions, even when I have a ton of them. As a fashion forward, cost conscious graduate student, I have always found them to have a great selection of reasonably priced frames. What a great place! I didn't realize I had a bad history with optometrists until I went here! The doctor answered all of my questions and comments (which previous ones clearly failed to do) in a kind and helpful manner. Everyone at the office was helpful, friendly and professional. I was so pleased that I went here to get my new glasses! They have an okay selection of frames--from designer brands like Armani and Michael Kors to less expensive frames without the big names and price tags. The woman who helped me pick my glasses was honest, but not harsh. She helped me find a great trendy pair of glasses that fit my face and my budget. Parking is incredibly easy too. read more

I read the reviews about this office and decided to make my and my family's eye exams at this location since it mentions there's a staff member who knows sign language. Because sign language is not popularly provided to deaf people, I thought it's a great benefit that this office has someone who can sign and be able to communicate on the same level. I booked our appointments and even had my friend call the office to confirm when that staff member would be in to assist me and my family. We came to find out that the person was not in on the day we scheduled our appointments. This was disappointing because we specifically wanted to be assisted by someone who could sign. Please train your receptionists to provide accurate information next time. It might not seem that important to the hearing community but communicating in the same language especially to people of deafness makes a huge difference. read more

I went for a routine eye exam. I wanted to check if my prescription glasses were still good. I had the worse experience with Dr. Beverly Chado during my eye exam. She pulled my eye lid without any warning and without washing her hands or using gloves. It hurt so much that I screamed and told her to stop.Two days later my eyes still hurt. It feels like she scratched my eyes with her nails. I was fine before seeing her and now I have eyes problems. The next morning both of eyes felt sore and swollen. I regret visiting this doctor. I will never go back and would not recommend her. In addition, the front desk staff is rude and unfriendly. And you have to wait 30 minutes to see the doctor. read more

I've had nothing but excellent visits and service with Eye to Eye, Dr. Z. and the receptionists, as well. They're all incredibly friendly and helpful. While I was waiting for my eyes to dilate, an older gentleman came in to get his glasses fixed. One of the associates did in on the spot. The gentleman wanted to give payment, but the associate would not accept it--she fixed his glasses for free. Maybe she was in the holiday spirit, but I think it exemplifies the kindness of the staff there. read more

Their newest medical technician was beyond wonderful. I was surprised to hear she had just started because she was very efficient at her job. She was very nice, knowledgeable and made the process very easy. She explained what each machine does and made sure I understood there was an extra cost for the retinal images before doing it and getting a surprised bill since it isn't covered by insurance. A lot of offices don't explain things well but this one does. She also was very thorough and clean. She wiped down everything with alcohol wipes before I used them including the exam room. This is mind-comforting especially with COVID going on. She also performed some tests that normally doctors would, but that is a good thing because that means I could get more time with the doctor with asking questions and not have limited time because of the tests the doctor would have to perform. I have nothing but positive comments about her, this office and wish there are more people like her in medical offices. Thank you for a clean, positive and comforting experience. She was very professional on the phone and willing to refund the cost of glasses and lenses.
