I always loved thrift stores but I really feel that this one is the best . The selection is fantastic. They have furniture lamps old records , paintings, housewares , jewelry even clothing LOL. It's just really a great place to visit. It will definitely brighten up your day. The value is also great although I don't know the worry of all items . I didn't look too much already. The paintings looked fabulous the records just too much to talk about. The values are great antiques tons of furniture. Just really go and visit this place. When I went to the store, I was greeted immediately and helped with my sale. I waited a few minutes for them to authenticate it, I was given my pay out, I signed it, got a receipt and was on my way. Fast efficient and professional, no complaints. Sometimes I wonder what people want or expect from these types of transactions. You will not get what you paid for when you try and resell designer items. Get grip people.

They are a clothing-forward thrift store with some shelves of kitchenwares and a section with furniture. The clothes are well organized and generally in ok shape. Most of it is priced higher than I would spend on second hand clothing, but there is potential if you keep digging. I didn't get anything during my trip but I'll be sure to check them out next time I'm in the area again!

Held Over was always genuine. It never tried or aspired to be something that it wasn't. It's vintage was affordable and timeless and it's staff were always helpful and kind. I am glad that the many items that I have hand selected from here over the years will continue to live on. If you happen to be in SF and reading this review - today is the perfect day to pay homage to a magical spot that has persevered through San Francisco's always changing business landscape. Plus, they are thoughtfully organized in sections from vintage windbreakers, to even older dresses from the 30s & 40s. There is a section for hats, glasses are kept in the glass cases at the cash wrap. While this isn't my favorite shop on the block, they do have specific finds. I've not found anything I felt worth buying based on my own style; but it is worth a walk-thru if you like to hunt and see pieces from the past. Are you fat? Sucks to be you in general but doubly so if you want to shop here. Yeah, it's Goodwill. Clothing options weren't always going to be fantastic. But I've been to numerous Goodwill stores in the Bay Area alone that I could find clothes my size at and this isn't one of them. So as far as I'm concerned, this Goodwill is easily the worst of them all. But if you're looking for women's clothing, this place will be paradise for you. No shortage of that here.

Valencia Street Vintage is a small thrift shop with a lot of personality. The current finds are…read moreshowcasing some retro clothes that are brighter and with a touch of bygone era glam. While I don't necessarily wear this look, I totally dig it. I do like the wearing nightgown as camisoles look. That look is still very chic if paired correctly. Friend and I spent some time here browsing after our Algerian eats from across the street. Fun shop that I would come back to.
