There's no clear view of the daycare portion of this place. The fence outside has an ugly black tarp all the way around it, and the inside is very closed off. I had that really uneasy feeling but thought it was just "first time mom" nerves. I had seen good reviews about this place, and it was really busy with several people dropping their dogs off for the day, so I figured I was just being overly protective and was just in the middle of the morning chaos. When I arrived in the afternoon to pick my dog up, they brought her out to me caked in mud and smelling like dog pee. She looked as if she was on the bottom of a dog pile getting pummeled by other dogs all day. My dog, who never wants to leave anywhere that I take her, was desperately trying to get into my car before I could even get the door open. This review unfortunately doesn't stop here. I got my dog home and gave her a much-needed bath because of all the caked on mud and smelling like dog pee, and as I was washing her paws I noticed LARGE slices in BOTH sets of pads on the bottom of her paws. It truly looked like someone took a knife and sliced my dog's paws open. I had to take her to the vet and they said that if the cuts had gone any deeper it could have caused significant tissue damage. When I called Bark Central to speak with someone about my dog's injuries, I was told by the staff on the phone that my dog had been playing on the "gravel lot" and the gravel may have cut her feet. No concern on the other end of the line, no apologies or offering to make the situation better. I was given the runaround - "I'll tell the manager to call you." I never received a return phone call. Needless to say, my dog will never return to this awful place, but I will tell everyone that I know to never take their dog to this hell hole. Listen to your gut, and ask for a proper tour.

She is patient and thorough and comes across very passionate about the shelties that she raises! The website is full of adorable and updated puppy pictures, and as breeders they offer lifetime breeder support for pups; my contract stipulates that if ever there comes a time I can no longer care for my sheltie, I am obligated to return her so that Buhrman's can take care of her and find her a new loving home. Can't wait to meet my puppy when she's ready in three weeks! Another great caveat, Misty won't let the pups leave before they've spent 8 full wonderful weeks socializing with their family and the other dogs. Would recommend!

They are the perfect combination of wanting to take great care of your pets but also not trying to money gauge and trying to find affordable ways to provide care. If we need an appointment, they have been consistently able to get us in within a few days. They will substitute vet techs and other appropriate staff for vaccines or Cytopoint injections whenever they can. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and really go above and beyond. Their prices are reasonable and clearly explained on all the bills. I did see one older review that said they required a full checkup with every allergy shot - my dog receives those so I can confirm that is no longer the policy, he just goes in for his shot with a nurse and goes home! I recommend them to all of my friends with pets.
